(3) CAVIART ACT TWO didn't have a very good trip last week but was sharp prior to that and debuts for new connections off a claim. (6) TOPVILLE SOMEBEACH also exits a start where he wound up getting parked and tired. He gets a driver switch to Matt Kakaley this time. Race 3 - Winners of 5 but not more than 8 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (3) MEETMEATTHEBAR gets post relief off an effort where she finished well from off-the-pace and owns a trio of recent on-the-board finishes in this class. (6) THE THING IS moves out on the gate but has wound up second or third in five of his last seven tries overall, including four straight efforts. (5) SUNDAY'S BRUNCH had a good season in the New York Sire Stakes program, including a third in the final. She debuts for trainer Cory Stratton tonight and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton in the bike Race 4 - F&M Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Pace (6) HUNTING HULA finds what I think is a softer spot than the NW20000L5's she's been in the last two times and trainer Pat Lachance's stable has been hot overall for a bit. (1) PEACE TALKS moves in from post eight to the pole position and was racing well in Kentucky and Ohio prior to that last try where she couldn't get involved from the poor draw. She also gets a driver switch to Kakaley. (2) SHEER ARTISTRY N steps up in class tonight but has back-to-back wins and partners with Tyler Buter again. Race 5 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW30000LT Draw Inside Trot (3) THEOBALD broke two back at Pocono but has been racing well out of town other than that, and I'll give him a chance on top here. (6) WALKWHILEYOURTALKN won at this level on International Trot Day and was second prior to that. Both of those efforts came with George Brennan driving, and he has the call again. (2) BIG SHOT was third in his first try back after a layoff on 9-17. Buter has the drive again and he makes his second start with hobbles on. Race 6 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace (1) WIN WITH LYNNLY invades from Harrington in sharp form, starts from post one and debuts for trainer Travis Alexander tonight. (3) BETTOR'S TICKET turned in another big effort in this class on 9-17 and teams up with Jordan Stratton again. (5) ODDS ON ACES FULL comes in from Pennsylvania and was a good second in a 1:50 and change mile against a stakes-caliber filly at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently. She makes her third start on Lasix, too. Race 7 - 25000CLM Pace (4) ROCKIN N TALKIN is a first-timer for Cory Stratton and both drops and gets post relief tonight. He shows a win and two seconds against $30,000 claimers since late July. (8) BURNHAM BOY N will have to overcome the eight-hole but did that in a victory back on September 4 and has hit the board in five straight appearances overall. (1) I'M THE PRINCE was a gaining second to a heavy favorite at this level last Saturday and starts from the pole position. Race 8 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (1) COUSIN HALIFAX went a long way on the lead in his last outing before he wound up second. He moves in from the eight-hole to the pole position and makes his second start on Lasix. (6) JAMAIS VU exits stakes competition and won in this class in his last overnight race on July 19. He also got the nod from Kakaley over my top selection. (5) BIZZY BRENDA tallied handily at this level most recently and her only off-the-board finish in her last seven efforts came when she had an impossible trip in the PA Sire Stakes consolation. I'll give him a shot against a wide-open group. (1) CONTACT ZONE closed well in a third-place finish in this class last Saturday and moves in from post four to the pole position. (5) MY PLAYMATE GB cut the fractions and wound up second at this level on September 18 and does have a victory back on September 4. Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace In a field that's been struggling to find the winner's circle, I'll swing with (7) HANK THE HUNK, who at least has a second and a third in his last two tries against $15,000 claimers. (3) I'M SOME GRADUATE has four runner-up results in his last seven appearances and gets a bit of post relief off a fourth-place finish most recently. (6) BUDDYVILLE makes his third start out of the Stratton stable and had to do the first-over work against a heavy favorite most recently.
