Spot Play: ANGEL'S PRIDE (8th)
Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 Pace
(3) MISTER SPOT A drops after a nice try off the DiDomenico claim and he's a logical chalk here. (2) ON THE VIRG was much better earlier in the year but should still do damage at this level. (4) AVATAR J returns to Yonkers after an extended run in Canada and he has a 1:52 1/5 life mark locally.

Race 2: 2YO Fillies NW2 or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(4) THROW THE DICE wasn't bad in NYSS action and if you look past her recent ugly lines over at The Meadowlands the Toscano trainee should go well here. (3) NADINA HANOVER has taken three straight including the Excelsior A final up at Vernon; deserving favorite. (5) NITE TIME DEAL also has some NYSS experience and she also is riding a winning streak.
Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 Trot
(4) SWANSEA is a legit Open-quality trotter when right and he seems to find a winning spot here in his local return. (1) HOMER HALL put it all back together with last week's solid uncovered win; he bumps back up a notch looking to repeat. (7) BLUFFINNER is a talented 4-year-old from Smedshammer and would be no surprise here if he can get put in play from the outside post.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 Trot
(6) THANKFUL NO managed to get beat last week at 5 cents on the dollar when the winner came up with a big effort; clearly the price goes way up tonight for those looking to recoup some cash. (3) PATRIARCH HANOVER has had some money-burning moments here recently and he's coming off a break last week; use caution. (1) MISS MCKEE returns locally off a win at Pocono and Buter gets the drive tonight; inside post makes her a contender.
Race 5: NW10100 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) MISTER DONALD A gave it a much more aggressive try on last week's drop in class and now he faces softer again; import has speed and a driver not afraid to use it. (2) SILAS SEELSTER just hasn't been at his sharpest lately but he's more than capable of turning things around from this spot. (3) ORILLIA JOE returns from Philly off a trip-sitting win and the veteran can never be counted out.
Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 Trot
(2) BARRY BLACK was overmatched last start facing the likes of Melady's Monet and It's Academic but this class is generally more to his liking and the French import from a few years ago (remember that?) can work out a nice trip here. (5) WARRIOR ONE was also outclassed in an Open at The Meadowlands but he was racing well when last seen here and Brennan will be sending him to the front. (4) KASHA V broke before the start last week and was far back but he closed sharply in his prior two; if he saves ground here and can shake free he'll be coming late at a price.
Race 7: Open Handicap Trot
(6) CHAPTIAMA was one of the choices in last week's Open but he had to come first up and faltered; Smedshammer trainee keeps the catch-driving Brennan and is inside a couple of speedy types so maybe he can get first crack at the lead here. Or, maybe not… (8) MISSISSIPPI STORM has been super all year for Fanning with over $160K banked in 17 starts; eight-hole assignment makes things tough for him looking to repeat. (1) MADHATTER BLUECHIP worked his way to the Open ranks for Milici but tired on the front end; doubtful he'll be cutting the pace tonight and he can hold his ground in behind the frontrunners.
Race 8: F&M NW15000 in last 5 Pace
(2) ANGEL'S PRIDE gets some class relief and a cozy post; DiDomenico trainee is a candidate to take this field wire-to-wire. (1) SHECANDANCE N finished third in her last couple also facing better but she needs to show more late. (6) YS TALLIA was favored last start and finished a decent second; she hasn't shown any early speed in all of her recent races which likely compromises her chances from this outside post.
Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 Trot
(5) TOP FLIGHT ANGEL gets Kakaley catch-driving for the second consecutive start and while unable to reach last week if he can somehow improve position a bit here he is capable of mowing down the inside speed. (1) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN and (2) EYE OFA TIGER AS are both drawn best and are the obvious chalks.
Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 Pace
(2) OSTRO HANOVER has been rather disappointing lately but he's got more than enough class to come out on top from this spot. (3) SAVE ME A DANCE graduated from the age-restricted ranks for Burke and he's clearly talented enough to compete here. (7) SAN DOMINO A has also been underachieving a bit but he's been facing tough stock; he would be one of the favorites if drawn inside but will be a big price now if you believe in him.
