(2) JUST A WRANGLER tallied impressively against $15,000 claiming foes a week ago and gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate tonight. (3) VICTOR HIC closed with pace in a third-place effort last Saturday and owns a win in a $15,000 claiming event back on July 27. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M NW5191L5/12500CLM Pace (6) STAY HAPPY won't be 36-1 here like she was last Friday, but she drops from the NW7500L5's to the bottom level off a good second-place finish. (2) BETTER WATCH IT has a similar profile to my top selection as she is also sliding down after posting a runner-up result in a NW7500L5 tilt on 9-13. She does have a post edge on STAY HAPPY and is the morning line choice. (3) HES EXPRESS won in her debut for this trainer on September 15 at Harrah's Philadelphia, and this barn has been sending out some very live horses overall as of late. He was in good form prior to that and I'll look for him to bounce right back. (4) HE'S SPECIAL won two straight over age-restricted $30,000 claimers and tries open company here. He goes for new connections after getting claimed out of his last appearance on 9-5. (5) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N parked my top selection and was a game second a week ago. He was claimed by Scott Di Domenico and gets a driver switch to George Brennan. Race 4 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 5 PM Races or 60000LT Pace (2) REIGNING JADE merits another shot here as she takes a second crack at this level after a second-place finish behind a razor-sharp rival last Saturday. She slides in on the gate from the six-hole to post two as well. (6) CHIAPANECAS drops out of stakes company and makes her second appearance out of Per Engblom's barn. She also adds Joe Bongiorno in the bike. (4) MYBITCOIN has missed the top three only once in 12 starts this year and won handily in a similar class to this one on 8-31. Race 5 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / Maidens Draw Inside Pace (4) SWEETER THAN LOU went a long way on the lead before getting overtaken in the lane last Saturday and can hopefully improve on that effort here for a barn that's sent out lots of live horses. (6) IDEAL ENTRY closed with pace from the eight-hole a week ago and gets to move in a couple of slots on the gate tonight. She also makes her third start on Lasix. (1) I'M ALL YOURS is an 0-for-19 maiden but has been making her way onto the ticket with some regularity lately. She also lured Brennan off my top choice, so I'll include. Race 6 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (4) DEVASTATE was hampered by the eight-hole most recently at Saratoga but won handily on the front-end at Batavia prior to that, and I'll hope for the same sort of effort tonight. (2) NOTTINGHAM just missed by a head last Saturday but is now 0-for-12 on the year and I'll swing against as he'll probably take plenty of wagering support again. (1) FULL SCALE was able to hold off NOTTINGHAM a week ago. He's riding a lengthy streak of on-the-board results overall. Race 7 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / Maidens Draw Inside Trot (7) KELLY'S GREATEST drew poorly again but won twice against NW3's down at Harrah's Philadelphia recently and hopefully Dube is more aggressive with her tonight than he was last Saturday. (8) WINNING MUSCLE also starts from an outside slot but has won two straight at Freehold since joining his current stable. Jim Marohn Jr. piloted him to his most recent success and is back at the controls here. (5) MARINO'S PRIZE makes her third start back after a qualifier and with trotting hobbles on. She's minded her p's and q's since the hobbles were added and races out of a stable that is capable of having one ready to fire a big mile. Race 8 - 20000CLM Pace (5) ARTIST BEST out-raced his odds last Saturday with a gaining fourth-place result. I'll give him another shot tonight as he catches a field that lacks a standout. (2) MIGHTY SANTANA N is just one-for-27 in the win column this year but has been sharp as of late. He was the runner-up in the same event my top pick exits and moves in from the six-hole to post two. (1) FOREVER FAV hasn't been able to find the winner's circle in 2024 but has hit the board in his last two trips behind the gate and moves back to the pole position after he had post six in last effort on 9-4. Race 9 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace (3) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N moves up from the NW7500L5 level but does so off a victory and should have picked up some confidence. He gets Bongiorno in the bike tonight with Jason Bartlett not here. (1) IGNATIUS A prevailed at the Meadowlands two weeks ago and was facing off against NW15000L5's when last seen locally in late August. (4) CAVIART SARGENT showed a new dimension of early speed last Thursday when he was fourth in this class. I like to see that and also don't mind that he gets a bit of post relief. Race 10 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (5) ANNELIESE HANOVER struggles to get to victory lane but nobody in this field is a win machine, and she exits a pair of solid efforts here and at the Meadowlands. I'll hop onboard. (4) BEHEST looks like she'll be the likely favorite as she's been facing better, but I'm not interested in a short price on one that's finished eighth and sixth in her last two appearances. (1) PARADISE ROCK L drops to the bottom level and starts from the pole, but she's also one I'll try to beat as her four victories this year all came back in the winter and spring. He could be closer to the action tonight as he moves in from post seven to the three-hole. (1) HE'S HALF NAKED recently added Lasix and hit the board a trio of times with Johnathan Ahle driving in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia. Ahle has the call again here. (4) BIG SIR disappointed as the favorite in a $20,000 claimer last Saturday but did win at this level on August 24 and should offer a better price. Race 12 - 15000CLM Pace (3) GOTHIC ROCK owns a win over $20,000 claimers in mid-August and moves in from post seven to the three-hole this week. (4) MOTIVE HANOVER has hit the board in four straight tries in this class, and I'll definitely include underneath. Lastly, I'll probably regret not just putting (8) ITALIAN DELIGHT N on top as he hasn't lost in forever, but I think if you're going to take a shot against him, it's tonight from the eight-hole.
