MEET STATS: 129 - 593 / $949.60 (-$236.40) BEST BETS: 31 - 59 / $129.40 (+$11.40) SPOT PLAYS: 5 - 59 / $56.50 (-$61.50) BEST BET - CAPTAIN PARADISE (9th) SPOT PLAY - ALBERT ALPHA (3rd) Race 1 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace (3) WORKLIFEBALANCE romped in this class in one appearance on 7-12 and returns off a stakes effort where she was in against the likes of divisional leaders Miki And Minnie and Rodeo Drive Deo.  (2) PUSSYCAT DOLL GB has hit the board in five of her last seven tries at this level and moves in on the gate from the eight-hole to post two. (6) LADY BLUE JAY comes in off a sick scratch but does have a pair of recent victories against winners of 2 but not more than 4 company. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (4) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT took one unsuccessful shot against $25,000 claimers and now drops back down to the level where she was racing well prior to that. (5) THATS A HUGE BEACH shows a pair of wins at this level and a couple of other on-the-board finishes. She debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. (1) SALE EL SOL was the runner-up to a well-meant foe in her last try on 7-29 and makes her second start out of a high-percentage stable here. Race 3 - NW7500L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 PAce (3) ALBERT ALPHA is a second-timer for trainer Ron Burke, and I'll look for some improvement here against a pretty wide-open group. (1) WALKINSHAW N drops and starts from post one. I expect he'll be favored, but given his poor win record this year, I'll try and beat him for the top spot. (4) GAMBLINGTERROR was third the last time he was in a NW7500L5 race back on July 1 and has been facing tougher foes since then. Race 4 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT  / NW2 or 30000LT Draw Inside Trot (1) TEQUILA TALKING AS drew post one and comes up from Harrah's Philadelphia in good form from their NW3 class. (3) JAKEY JUMPUP has two wins and a second in his last three outings at this level and starts from another inside post. (7) FLIGHT OF FRITZ will have to overcome a poor post position but was the runner-up to JAKEY JUMPUP when they faced off last Saturday. Race 5 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace I'm going to give (1) SHUFFLE UP HANOVER a try here against a blank field as he really hasn't had much of a chance from posts seven and eight in his last two outings. Also, his final quarters in two of his three tries here at Yonkers have been pretty good. (3) SOUTH POINT hasn't won in a while but has hit the board in five of his last seven trips behind the gate and debuts for new connections off a claim. (5) WARRIOR FOR TRUTH tallied at this level two back and then was third in a subsequent try a week ago. He's a first-timer for these connections after being claimed. Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace (7) SMOOTH LOU was claimed by a high-percentage stable out of his race last Saturday and was a solid second at this level two starts back. (8) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N moves out on the gate but was Colin Kelly's choice of a few in here and shows a recent victory and third from bad posts. (1) BETTORBUCKLEUP stepped up to face $30,000 claiming company in his last try and now drops back down to the class where he was victorious on the 17th of July. He also slides in from the seven-hole to the pole position. Race 7 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (8) I'M THE PRINCE made a early three-wide move to get into contention last Saturday but flattened out in the lane. He'll have to overcome the eight-hole, but I expect he'll be put in play as George Brennan's choice. (4) BLUE COLLAR MAN went a long way on the lead before he wound up fifth a week ago and shows a runner-up finish in this class on the 5th of July. (6) SIP OF BOURBON was a closing third at this level on 7-26 and faced tougher foes from post eight last week. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace (5) I'M SOME GRADUATE posted a runner-up finish in his debut for this owner/trainer a couple of weeks ago, and I'll bank on some additional improvement coming tonight. (2) STONEBRIDGE REX dominated a field of $15,000 claimers on July 26 and hasn't been outside the exacta in his last three appearances overall between Yonkers and Tioga. (6) REAL PEACE was a handy victor on the 26th of July over my top selection and has been sharp for a while with four straight on-the-board results. Race 9 - NW5821L5 / 12500CLM Pace (1) CAPTAIN PARADISE finds what should be a softer spot here than he's been in since he came east from The Meadows and makes his third start on Lasix. (3) KINGSTON PANIC is a second-timer for leading trainer Per Engblom and gained some ground in a fourth-place effort on July 25. (2) TECHTOPIA HANOVER drops out of the $20,000 claimers and gets a driver switch to Kelly.
