Race 1 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start NW5000L5 Pace

(7) OAKWOODNITOWNIT IR was second in the Open Handicap as recently as late May and was second to a well-meant winner in a NW10000L5 event last Sasturday. (4) INDICTABLE HANOVER closed well to grab a runner-up finish at this level on July 24 and takes a second crack at it tonight. (1) LOORIM LAKE A is moving up from the NW5000L5 class but is doing so off a victory and gets Jason Bartlett to drive again from post one.

Race 2 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot

(3) THE LAST CHAPTER won the last time he was in this class at Yonkers back on 5-6 and returns from Pocono tonight off a victory. (5) PINEWOOD HANOVER makes his fourth start out of the Per Engblom barn and went a long way on the lead most recently at Harrah's Philadelphia before finishing fourth. (4) BIZET hit the board against NW7500L5's locally back in early June and is dropping after racing at higher levels as of late.

Race 3 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(2) BETTER WATCH IT is double-dropping out of the NW20000L5 class and has won three times in her last seven appearances. (5) MISS DOTTIE MAE put in a good effort to finish second to a well-meant winner last Saturday and remains at the same level tonight. (4) ATREACHEROUS A was victorious in nine of her 16 starts in Australia over the last two years and qualified very well over the oval on July 28.

Race 4 - NW15000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot

(8) KASHA V drew post eight but I thought he was solid in finishing second to a heavy favorite on 7-22 and hopefully Tyler Buter will put him in play against what appears a pretty wide-open group. (2) DOWN THE PIKE MIKE had no shot in his last two tries from the eight-hole but moves way inside on the gate tonight and switches pilots to Bartlett. (1) PC FREE WHEELING landed the pole position and was a runner-up back on July 7th when she raced at the traditional mile distance like she does tonight.

Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start NW5000L5 Pace

(3) UMBERTO owns just a one-for-17 mark in the win column this year but finds a softer spot than the 3-5YO $50,000 claiming class for a high-percentage barn and picks up Jordan Stratton in the bike. (2) WON LAST FEELING closed out his mile in 27 and change last Saturday and finally drew inside here for the first time since late June. (1) HEART OF DIXIE is another horse getting major post relief after gaining spots and ground in his efforts on the 15th and 21st of July.

Race 6 - NW10701L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Trot

(7) HOOLIE N HECTOR should have picked up some confidence with an easy win over NW7500L5's a week ago, and I think he's capable of handling the step up the ladder tonight, even from an outside draw. (2) NO DRAMA PLEASE wound up second after cutting the fractions in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia in his last try and gets to partner with George Napolitano Jr. again. (3) DRACO S drops and moves inside after tackling NW15000L5's from the eight-hole last Saturday.

Race 7 - F&M NW2/27990LT Pace

(4) HUNTRESSVILLE A squeezed into this race by a dollar under the lifetime earnings cap and won six of her 13 starts in Australia. Her qualifier over at Pocono on 7-26 looked sharp with a 27 and change final quarter. (7) ARRHYTHMIC DREAM has victories over both NW1's and NW2's since coming down from Canada. She does move outside on the gate but gets Bartlett in the bike again. (1) JUST ROSAS LUCK makes her third start for trainer Travis Alexander and was third at this level two weeks ago. She also moves in from post six to the pole position.

Race 8 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(3) ROCK THE DEVIL gets some additional class relief after finishing fourth in a NW15000L5 test on 7-26 and also moves in a couple of notches on the gate. (4) QUALITY BUD was seventh in the same race my top pick exits and also has a better post in this event than he did in that one. (1) THREE IN HEAVEN A finished in second the last time he was in a NW10000L5 contest back on the 10th of July and has the pole position to aid his cause tonight.

Race 9 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(3) BACKSTREET PLAYER put in a better effort last Saturday when he was in a NW7500L5 base class race and finds the bottom level tonight. (4) DELTASUN A gained spots and ground in the last quarter of his NW5000L5 tilt a week ago and has post relief here. (7) KOSHER MAHONEY makes his second start out of the Engblom barn and was the runner-up in the same race DELTASUN A exits.

Race 10 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(8) SOMESWEETSOMEWHERE starts from post eight, but she beat way better than the foes she faces here at Yonkers back on May 20 and I have to think she'll be involved. (2) MIKI THE CLOWN rallied to finish second in a NW5000L5 race last Saturday and moves in from the seven-hole to post two. (1) DON'T TRIP won easily at Harrah's Philadelphia two back and she's another horse with a significantly better draw than she had a week ago. She also switches pilots to Napolitano Jr.

Race 11 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(4) WINE N DINE ME tallied in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia on May 26 and has won at Yonkers before as well. (6) SALE EL SOL finished in a dead-heat for third in her debut for this barn last Saturday and gets a new driver with Bartlett taking the call. (7) TOBAGO TIME finds an easier spot here than the $50,000 claimers she's been facing since returning from Delaware and trainer Nick Devita has been putting plenty of live horses on the track lately.

Race 12 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(3) MAXIMUS RED A slides all the way down to the bottom level tonight and can hopefully pair the class relief with a good effort as he gets reunited with Bartlett. (4) PEDRO HANOVER was second to a dominant winner in a NW7500L5 test on 7-17 and drops again here. (1) BIG SIR makes his fourth start back after a layoff in this contest and was third most recently in a quick mile at Pocono despite suffering broken equipment.
