Race 1 - F&M NW2/25000LT / F&M NW1/12500LT Drawn Inside Pace

(3) RIVER OF FEAR moves inside on the gate tonight after gaining several spots in the final quarter of her race a week ago. She was also in against mixed NW2 and NW4's in that contest and gets to face NW2's and NW1's here, which should make this an easier spot. (5) SALDANA HANOVER has hit the board in two of three local tries and does own a victory over NW1 company at Pocono. (1) YOUCANCALLME DAISY is a 2-year-old facing older foes here but she just missed hitting the board against NW2's at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently and was in the top-level New York Sire Stakes prior to that.

Race 2 - NW15000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot

(2) B MEDITHREE has a win in this class at Yonkers back in mid-June and gets significant post relief tonight from his last three efforts. (6) VINNY DE VIE takes another crack at NW15000L5 foes after finishing fourth on July 29. (3) PROMISE FOR LIFE might be a level too high to be a win threat, but he also moves inside on the gate in this spot after having the seven-hole in his last two outings.

Race 3 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(4) MCNATURAL L faced male foes in that event on 8-4 and finished a solid fourth. She meets up with mares tonight and has a better post to go with it. (7) BETTERB CHEVRON N went a long way on the lead before finishing in a dead-heat for third on July 29 and remains in the NW7500L5 class. (2) EDGE OF ETERNITY dominated NW5000L5 rivals on the 29th of July and trainer Nick Devita has been doing well with his horses recently.

Race 4 - NW15501L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot

(6) KINDA LUCKY LINDY advanced from seventh to fourth in the final quarter of his race last Saturday. That was in a NW20000L5 base class event, so he drops tonight, and he also gets a new driver with George Brennan taking over. (3) CANTSTOP YANKEE rallied to finish second in his last appearance on July 29 and gets to move inside on the gate this time for a barn that can have one ready to fire a big mile. (2) BRIDGE TO VICTORY was a gaining third in a NW15000L5 contest a week ago. He has post relief and driver switch to Brent Holland.

Race 5 - NW10441L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(1) THREE IN HEAVEN A doesn't have a great win record this year at just one-for-25 but has the pole again after finishing third at this level a week ago and catches a beatable group with Holland taking over the driving. (6) AS ALWAYS ships up from Harrah's Philadelphia on a two-race win streak. George Napolitano Jr. piloted him to his last victory and is back in the bike again here. (2) THINKBIG DREAMBIG cut the mile and was fifth in his Yonkers return on 8-1. Jim Marohn Jr. is going to take the lines tonight, and we'll see if a tactics change is in the offering.

Race 6 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5/NW7500L5 Drawn Inside Trot

(7) KASHA V finished with plenty of trot last week and is worth another try here, even from an outside post again, as he continues to slide down the ladder. (2) C YOU AGAIN DK was in the Open at Yonkers as recently as May and makes his second start on Lasix. (1) FASHION FOREVER hit the board in this class back on June 10 and will offer value underneath from the pole position.

Race 7 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(5) SMOOTH DEBATE N slides down a notch on the ladder after finishing fourth in a NW15000L5 base class event most recently and has been competitive at this level before. (6) MISS DOTTIE MAE has been knocking on the door with three on-the-board finishes in her last four outings and I'll include her. (3) TWIN B SUNKISSED returns to Yonkers after picking up a confidence-building victory at Pocono on August 6 and hails from the always-capable Ron Burke barn.

Race 8 - NW6061L5/12500CLM Trot

(4) DOUBLE DEALING took a few shots against NW7500L5 foes recently, including a third-place result last Saturday, and drops back down to the bottom level tonight. Both (3) SEVENSHADESOFGREY and (1) VELVET STYLE are capable of winning this race but are often their own worst enemies by way of making breaks. Napolitano Jr. will try and get Velvet Style around without a problem and Sevenshadesofgrey picks up Holland.

Race 9 - F&M NW6/75000LT / F&M NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Pace

(4) HUNTRESSVILLE A was a victor in her U.S. debut last Saturday, and given her solid win record Down Under, I believe she's capable of repeating despite the step up in class. (5) HALLELUJAH HANOVER was victorious the last time she was at Yonkers in mid-July and has met up with tougher company since then. (6) HIGH FASHION STAR is very sharp right now and just won over the oval in the New York Excelsior A Series on August 3.

Race 10 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(6) HEAVENISSOFARAWAY finds the bottom level tonight and closed with pace to get a check in a NW10000L5 race the last time she was at Yonkers on July 22. (4) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE has back-to-back on-the-board finishes and usually provides value underneath. (2) SUNSHINE FILLY overcame post seven to win at Saratoga on 8-2 but broke twice at Yonkers in July, including as the favorite on the 8th.
