Race 1 - 50000CLM Pace

(4) CAVIART SARGENT has a good post here after starting outside on 6-20 and 6-27, and I'll look for that to make a difference. He gained several positions in the last quarter in his most recent start. (5) MACINTOSH N has two wins and a second since joining Gareth Dowse's barn and comes in off a season's-best mile. (2) OZONE BLUE CHIP posted a victory and a runner-up finish in his last two outings and went to trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. via a claim on June 25.

Race 2 - 30000CLM Pace

(7) SAILBOAT HANOVER should offer a solid price in a race without an obvious standout, and this tandem of Braxten Boyd and Dennis Laterza are capable of connecting at big numbers. He won nicely two back, so he's got some form, too, if he can trip out. (1) SHERIFF N advanced from eighth to fourth in the last half of his mile on June 25 and moves in from the eight-hole to the pole. (4) MAJOR BEAN is back after racing against tougher over at Pocono in his last couple of outings. He has the duo of leading driver Jason Bartlett and leading trainer Gareth Dowse in his corner.

Race 3 - NW11755L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(1) BETTORBUCKLEUP double-drops from the NW20000L5's and starts from the pole position. He was a strong second in a NW15000L5 "Pop-Up" Series race two back after doing the first-over work. (3) THE REGULATOR has been racing at Harrah's Philadelphia and the Meadowlands and now is at Yonkers for trainer Per Engblom. Engblom's barn is riding a pretty good hot streak at various venues in the Northeast, and he also gets Bartlett to drive. (6) INDICTABLE HANOVER comes in from Pocono where he won in his second try out of the Travis Alexander barn. He moves up in class tonight, but Alexander barn is also sharp right now.

Race 4 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(2) TITANS HOPE was able to take the lead in the lane last time out at the Meadowlands but weakened in the final eighth. She was second the last time she faced NW5000L5's locally, she was Dan Dube's choice, and I expect her to be on or near the lead. (3) NEWSBOY finished third on 6-25 in his first start for Engblom. He takes another crack at bottom level foes tonight and picks up Bartlett. (4) KEEPER OF SECRETS has a barn change to Jenn Bongiorno, which often results in improved performance. His last win came in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia on May 12.

Race 5 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(3) THE REAL ONE doesn't have any wins yet in 2022, but he's been knocking on the door lately and kicked home well from post eight on July 1. He drew inside tonight and is worth a shot. (1) MACH N CHEESE exits some tougher spots and also has post relief. He's had a barn change to Mike Forte since his last appearance, too. (5) ABERDEEN HANOVER makes his second start out of the Dowse barn and retained Bartlett.

Race 6 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(1) CREATIVE VENTURE downed bottom level foes last Saturday, and although he steps up a notch here, he moves inside to the pole position to offset it. (3) P L OSCAR just missed by a nose after cutting the mile in a NW10000L5 race a week ago and gets further class relief tonight. (6) SWEETLIES N ALIBIS also slides down the class ladder and makes her third start back after a bit of time off.

Race 7 - 30000CLM Pace

(3) GHOST DANCE returns tonight after picking up a confidence-building win down at Harrah's Philadelphia in his most recent attempt, and he has a pretty good history over this oval. (4) MARCO BEACH has hit the board in four of his last five tries, and I think he meets up with a softer crew of $30,000 claimers here than the one he raced against on June 11. (6) SHOREVIEW posted three straight second-place finishes before finishing fourth against $40,000 claimers on 6-25. He drops a level here.

Race 8 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(7) BARRY BLACK takes another drop in class tonight and hinted that he might be coming back around by gaining spots and ground in the last quarter on July 1. (2) MAGICAL JOURNEY doesn't show much in the way of form since those wins back in late May, but these connections are always capable of having one ready to fire, and he gets both class and post relief. (3) MADHATTER BLUECHIP has a similar profile to Magical Journey, and I could see him putting in an improved effort.

Race 9 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(4) ENGLISH ROSE N struggled in her first couple of outings for trainer Edwin Quevedo, but after some equipment tinkering, she's been much better lately and comes off a win against male foes at the Meadowlands. She faces only mares here and also lures Tyler Miller in for the one drive. (1) SHELLIE DE VIE gets a second chance against NW5000L5's tonight and gained some ground in the last quarter in her most recent try. (2) JOHNNY G'S STAR took her life's mark on a half-mile track (Northfield) and won three back at Oak Grove. She makes her second start for trainer Yogi Sheridan tonight and gets Bartlett.
