Race 1 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(6) LOS BALLYKEELAMIGO hasn't really gotten a chance to show what he's capable of since coming down to Yonkers but he drops to the bottom level tonight, gets reunited with Dan Dube, and races out of the powerful Travis Alexander barn. (3) TURBOCHARGEDPETE ships in from Scioto and into the red-hot Scott Di Domenico barn. This horse was at Yonkers in the summer of last year and won once over NW6 competition. (1) HOBBS was supposed to race here on July 16 but came up sick and was scratched. He qualified fine over at Monticello in preparation for this event and debuts for new connections.

Race 2 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(5) THE WILD CARD makes his third start back after a layoff tonight and closed in 26 seconds to finish fifth at the Meadowlands last Saturday night. (3) ST LADS BEAT IT and (4) GLACIS both have similar profiles as they are double-dropping out of the NW20000L5 class. St Lads Beat It has had better success finding the winner's circle this year, with four victories, compared to just one for Glacis.

Race 3 - 30000CLM Pace

(3) BLACK CHEVRON N had something go amiss on July 8 but came back with a good local qualifier on the 22nd (27 and change last quarter) and slides down from the $40,000 claiming level. (1) BOLT OF LUCK also drops out of the $40,000 claimers and has a much better post than he's had lately. (5) ROLL WITH JR won on 6-4 with Jason Bartlett driving, and the same thing happened two weeks ago. Bartlett's in the bike again tonight.

Race 4 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(2) VIVA LAS VEGAS N gained spots and ground in a paceless NW10000L5 race a week ago and gets post relief out of that performance. (4) REIGNING DEO looks like the one they're going to have to beat as he drops out of the NW20000L5's and picked up his last win in a NW10000L5 event on May 21. (7) SOHO CHELSEA A won in his debut for trainer Jenn Bongiorno on July 18, and although he does move up a level, it was impressive how he closed from last to first in the final quarter.

Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(4) CRIME FIGHTER stormed home from off-the-pace last Saturday, and although he does move up from the bottom level, I think he's worth another shot based on that mile. (2) KASHA V has the class drop/post relief combo going for him and cruised to a facile victory the last time he faced NW7500L5's on May 14. (5) GOTWUTEVERITTAKES is one of the biggest wild card horses I've ever seen as he ranges between being capable of racing at high levels over at the Meadowlands and breaking stride pretty much every week. He did mind his p's and q's at Yonkers on July 20 and has George Napolitano Jr. to drive this time.

Race 6 - 30000CLM Pace

(1) SAILBOAT HANOVER rallied to defeat $25,000 claimers when last seen on July 20 and is now with Di Domenico after a claim. (3) SOUTHWIND ONYX returns to an inside post tonight after getting around an incident last Saturday and advancing from eighth to fourth. He is a second-time starter for trainer Andrew Harris. (2) BAMSKI got up to finish third in a $30,000 claimer last Saturday. He has post relief here and gets another chance with Jordan Stratton.

Race 7 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(8) SWANSEA drew outside tonight but comes off a confidence-building win over NW7500L5's last time out and did rally from seventh to third two back. (1) GEMOLOGIST drops out of the NW15000L5 level and moves inside from post seven to the pole position. (5) IT AINT THE WHISKY also slides down from the NW15000L5's but has struggled to find the winner's circle this year, owning just a one-for-17 mark.

Race 8 - 30000CLM Pace

(5) ARTMAGIC is alternating racing between Yonkers and Monticello and is back in Westchester this time. He was in against $40,000 claimers when last seen locally and finished fourth, so this is a drop out of that class. (1) WHITE HAIR ROCKS comes out of his best performance since joining Gareth Dowse's barn, and while he's very win-shy (one-for-53 over the last two years), I'll include underneath. (7) SWEET N FAST N took advantage of the leaders hooking wheels to win a week ago, but like most of the Di Domenico horses, his form has been on the uptick.

Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace

(4) SPORTSKEEPER was third three back against $20,000 claimers, and might be in some sneaky-good form given his 28 second final quarter last Friday. He also gets to move in on the gate after starting from post seven in that event. (5) LETTUCERIPITA A is going to take all kinds of wagering support on the driver switch to Bartlett and can certainly win. (1) CASHNCAM lost Bartlett's services here but was victorious in a $15,000 claimer on July 1 and has significant post relief.
