Race 1 - F&M NW1/16261LT Pace

(6) RIVER OF FEAR won at Northfield in their NW1 class back on June 3 and has been racing in stakes or series events since then. She's now with trainer Scott Di Domenico on the East Coast and partners with George Brennan. (2) PINE BUSH MAGA went a long way on the lead before finishing second against NW1 company on 7-15 and starts from an inside post. (1) SHINE BRIGHTER won at this level over PINE BUSH MAGA in that common event two weeks and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett tonight.

Race 2 - Can You Go the Distance Series Final Trot

(1) FOR A DREAMER has back-to-back wins in this event and moves inside to the pole here. (2) JULA MAGICIAN was victorious in the first leg of this series at nine-sixteenths of a mile. He finally got a good draw tonight after having nothing but seven-holes since coming in from The Meadows and gets reunited with Brennan. (3) HAT TRICK MARLEAU closed well to finish second to FOR A DREAMER last Saturday and gets some extra distance to race at in this contest.

Race 3 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(4) SETH HANOVER was a good second two back against NW7500L5 company and then had little chance last Friday from an outside post. He finds the bottom level tonight and gets a driver switch to Tyler Buter. (5) PRESTIGE SEELSTER performed much better in his second try at Yonkers on 7-20, finishing second in a quick mile. He races for a high-percentage barn and gets an opportunity to team up with Bartlett. (1) MY ULTIMATE STAR A has a post relief/class drop combo going for him tonight and was favored against NW10000L5 company two back.

Race 4 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(7) PACE N PRIDE N miscued before the start last time out, but he was favored in that race, so I have to think he was primed for a good effort. He drops to the level of his last victory here, and I'm going to hope the break and outside post inflate his price. (5) JIMMY CONNOR B drops out of the NW10000L5's and moves inside on the gate a couple of notches. He won in the NW7500L5 class at Harrah's Philadelphia on 6-2. (2) RHODENA ROAD has put up three straight solid final quarters and was a closing second against NW5000L5 foes on July 20.

Race 5 - NW15000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot

(5) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS slides down two levels after finishing third against NW30000L5's most recently. He's been sharp for an extended period of time, and I will use him on top. (3) VINNY DE VIE also exits a NW30000L5 race where he was fourth and recently had a streak of five straight top three results. (1) SLAY ships over from the Meadowlands where he was competing in the Graduate Series and Hambletonian Maturity. This is obviously a much softer spot, but he could be prepping for further stakes engagements, and I'll take a stand against.

Race 6 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(3) SOMESWEETSOMEWHERE tallied over NW7 company the last time she was seen at Yonkers in May and returns tonight from Harrah's Philadelphia where I believe she's been facing tougher foes than she meets tonight. (4) SALE EL SOL has a barn change and a class drop to consider. She's won at Yonkers before and I wouldn't be surprised if she performed well in this spot. (1) MISS LIMELIGHT N gets both post and class relief and was Bartlett's choice over my top selection.

Race 7 - NW5000L5/12500CLM TROT

(3) KOSHER MAHONEY doesn't have any obvious form from out in Indiana but made the PA Sire Stakes final last year and is now with Per Engblom in his return to the East Coast. He also catches a field that is very beatable. (2) MAKING SPARKS has major post relief tonight after starting from the eight-hole last Saturday and recently won at Monticello. (1) TORKIL slides inside on the gate to the pole position and hit the board against bottom level foes three back from post two.

Race 8 - F&M NW10915L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(3) MISS DOTTIE MAE kept Brent Holland over a horse he won with last Saturday and closed with plenty of pace from the eight-hole in her last outing on July 21. She gets to drop and move inside on the gate tonight. (1) TWIN B SUNKISSED makes her second start back after a layoff and slides down a notch on the class ladder. (6) CALLMEQUEENBEE A has a win and a runner-up result since joining Jenn Bongiorno's barn and gets a new driver in Bartlett.

Race 9 - NW8261L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Trot

(4) BACKSTREET PLAYER lands in a much softer spot here than the NW6's he's been facing and gets a new driver for the first time in a while with Austin Siegelman taking over. (2) SEVENSHADESOFGREY stayed flat and closed well to finish third last Saturday. He drops a notch and drew a much better post tonight. (1) IM THE MUSCLE finished second to a well-meant rival a week ago and aggressive tactics will probably be coming again from the pole position.

Race 10 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(3) CANTSTOPLYING makes his third start back after a short layoff tonight and closed in 27 and change to advance from last to fourth on 7-20. He gets significant post relief here off that performance. (2) SHARK PLAY cut the fractions and wound up third in the same race my top pick comes out of and remains at the bottom level. (5) ROCK LIGHTS hit the board a couple of times against NW5000L5 foes back in April and May and moves inside on the gate after starting from the eight-hole most recently.

Race 11 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) JOSSIE JAMES A qualified against the likes of American Courage at Pocono on July 19, so the fact she gave way doesn't bother me. These connections can have one ready to fire, she was Dan Dube's choice, and she's won at Yonkers plenty of times before. (3) EDGE OF ETERNITY comes into this race with a gap in her schedule after being scratched on 7-3 but she won twice for trainer Nick Devita at Yonkers back in the winter. (8) ROCKNROLL ANNIE takes a third crack at bottom-level foes here and I anticipate will be sent out of there again, even from the outside post.
