Race 1 - 30000CLM Pace
(1) PINEBUSHDRAGONROLL finished second after cutting the fractions last Friday. He drew the pole again and I'll hope he can deliver a win this time. (2) SULLIVAN took a $30,000 claiming event a week ago and has now hit the board in four of his last five efforts. He switches drivers to Matt Kakaley tonight. (3) KB MAC won a couple of times at this level last month and was fourth in the race won by SULLIVAN last week.

Race 2 - F&M NW1/19453LT Pace
(6) IN A WINK N qualified well over at Tioga for her U.S. debut tonight and won four-of-14 Down Under, making her look pretty good in this NW1 event that she squeezed into by $1 under the lifetime earnings cap. (2) JENNA'S COURT broke at Saratoga most recently but shows three victories in the NW1 class at Tioga. (4) LADY BLUE JAY has burned some money in her last two outings as she couldn't win as the favorite. She does have a victory at this level back on the 22nd of June.

Race 3 - 20000CLM Pace
(3) GOTHIC ROCK drops out of the $30,000 claimers off a third-place finish last Friday. He's been pretty shy in the win column this year at just one-for-19, but I'll give him a shot. (5) YS DO IT RIGHT won impressively from first-over a week ago and just missed by a head against $20,000 claiming company prior to that. (4) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP is winless in 2024 and one-for-47 over the last two seasons, but he has hit the board in both of his tries since sliding down to face $20,000 claiming foes.
Race 4 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(5) MARLBANK ROAD doesn't look very sharp on paper but he did win the last time he was in a NW7500L5 event back on May 22. He also gets some post relief here after starting from the seven-hole most recently. (4) THE REAL ONE hasn't won yet this year but does show three on-the-board finishes in this class and a closing fourth last Saturday. (1) CYRUS N picked up a confidence-building victory over bottom-level foes a week ago and drew the pole here, which is by far the best post he's had lately.
Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(6) TASTE OF HONEY exits the NW10000L5 class and also moves in a couple of notches on the gate after two straight eight-holes. He picks up Matt Kakaley and has been facing much tougher foes than this since coming into Per Engblom's barn. (2) ROCKIN JUKEBOX posted a victory in a NW5000L5 tilt a week ago. Although he steps up the ladder tonight, he offsets that with an inside draw and was second at this level two back. (3) C-BET HANOVER was victorious the last time he competed in a NW7500L5 race back in early June and gets a new driver with Dan Dube taking over.
Race 6 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(2) STORMCLOUDFASHION raced pretty well from post eight to finish third to a well-meant winner last Saturday. He'd been off since 6-29 coming into that effort and moves way inside on the gate here. (3) FULL SCALE struggles to find the winner's circle as he's just two-for-41 lifetime but has hit the board in four straight outings and races out of a barn that's sending out lots of live horses right now. (4) NYMERIA won handily in a New York Excelsior "A" Series contest at Monticello most recently and did win over NW1 company at Yonkers back in May.
Race 7 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace
(2) FRONT PAGE STORY hasn't missed the top three since adding Lasix last month and finds a softer spot here than she's been in in her last three efforts. She also switches drivers to George Brennan. (3) THINK AHEAD scored at this level a couple of weeks ago and goes with Kakaley tonight for trainer Travis Alexander, who is currently at the top of the standings at Yonkers. (6) CRUISERSFOXYJUDY tallied in her Yonkers debut last Saturday in this class but moves out on the gate and is stuck outside my top two picks.
Race 8 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 64454LT Trot
(7) WIN TOGETHER S looked good while winning in his U.S. debut last Saturday. He remains in the same class, and unlike all the 3-year-olds in here, he doesn't have stakes events he may have an eye towards. (4) FRENCHY HANOVER scored at this level back in late June and switches drivers to Kakaley while also getting a bit of post relief. (3) SKY BOX is having a solid 3-year-old campaign with seven on-the-board results in nine outings. He comes off a pretty easy win in the New York Excelsior "A" Series at Yonkers on July 18.
Race 9 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(1) BUT WHY starts from the pole here and comes off a third-place finish at Yonkers in a New York Excelsior "A" Series event last Thursday. I also thought he raced pretty well in this class prior to that as he made up quite a bit of ground in the back-half of his mile from the eight-hole. (5) THE K BAR saw her run of on-the-board finishes end on July 13 as she wound up first-over and tired. I think that was against some tougher foes than she faces tonight, though, and I'll toss her in underneath. (3) QUEEN CABAL defeated NW1 company at Yonkers on June 29 and while she hasn't been in the top three yet at this level, she has gained ground in the final quarter both times.
Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace
(3) BRUSHING UP remains winless in 2024 but takes a second shot against $15,000 claiming foes tonight and doesn't have to worry about facing the blistering-hot Italian Delight N this time like he did last week when he was fourth to that foe. (6) ROCK THIS WAY was third in the same race my top selection exits from a week ago and defeated $15,000 claimers twice in June. (7) IMABEACHBOY disappointed last Saturday as the favorite but he did suffer early interference in that tilt. He switches drivers to Jordan Stratton and could definitely offer a better price.

Race 11 - 15000CLM Pace
(2) CAMLACHIE CHROME joins one of the hottest barns at Yonkers tonight and drew inside against a beatable field if he can show some improvement off the trainer change. (5) DEEP INFATUATION N took one shot against $30,000 claimers on July 15 and now drops back down to the class where he hit the board on both 6-29 and 7-6. (3) YOUR BROTHER was a solid runner-up to Italian Delight N last Saturday and had a bit of a gap in his schedule coming into that race. He makes his second start for trainer Cory Stattion here.
Race 12 - NW11151L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace
(6) INDICTABLE HANOVER showed plenty of pace in the stretch last Saturday, and while he is moving up in class, so are all the other horses in this race. (4) DEETZY won a NW7500L5 race a week ago and was third at this level prior to that. (2) J M MANDAMIN was third to DEETZY last week and gets significant post relief here. He also gets reunited with Kakaley.
