Race 1 - NW5981L5/12500CLM Pace
(2) WINDSUN RICKY was second in a NW7500L5 event on 7-1 and drops to the bottom level here. The horse he finished behind in that most recent event came back to tally again on Tuesday (July 9) at Yonkers. (3) LOUS THE ATTITUDE makes his second start back after a layoff and was third in the same tilt that WINDSUN RICKY exits. (1) RAYRAY is another horse in this contest that's exiting the NW7500L5 level. He shows three on-the-board results in his last seven trips behind the gate and starts from the pole.

Race 2 - NW10441L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace
(2) CHIMICHURRI N competed at the Meadowlands in his last two tries and now returns to Yonkers. He was facing NW30000L5 company when last seen locally and just missed from the nine-hole across the river two starts back. (4) DEETZY drops out of the NW15000L5 class and gets some post relief to go with it tonight. He has hit the board in four of his last seven appearances. (1) KIMBLE A had good luck at the draw again as he drew the pole for the fourth straight time, and although he's moving up the ladder, he downed NW7500L5 foes pretty handily on July 4.
Race 3 - 40000CLM Pace
(4) BIG DREAM FELLA has just missed in two starts since dropping to this claiming level. I'll give him another shot here and hope he can finish one spot better. (2) OZONE BLUE CHIP won impressively from first-over in a quick time last Saturday night. He has three straight victories overall and six consecutive finishes in the top three. (1) WON LAST FEELING was fourth in the same race that OZONE BLUE CHIP exits from a week ago and owns a victory over $40,000 claimers on June 29.
Race 4 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(1) STELLAR YANKEE slides down from the NW7500L5 class, moves inside from post six to the pole position and has a driver switch to George Brennan. I anticipate he'll be able to wire this field. (3) CAPTAIN BATBOY is winless in nine outings this year but is getting some post relief here. He did finish second two and three starts back. (6) TIN ROOF RAIDER A returns to Yonkers after one try at Harrah's Philadelphia. He was facing tougher company when last seen here and picks up a catch driver tonight after being piloted by the trainer last time out.
Race 5 - 20000CLM Pace
(3) MISSILE SEELSTER doesn't have a victory yet in 2024 but did race well in late May and throughout June. I can overlook his off-the-board result last Saturday as it came from an outside post. (5) SMOKIN BY N won again in this class a week ago and goes for new connections tonight after a claim. (1) CRUNCH TIME A cut the fractions and wound up second when he slid down to this level on June 29. He moves in on the gate to the pole this time.
Race 6 - 30000CLM Pace
(2) PRETTY HANDSOME is another horse searching for his first win of the year. He had a second in this class two back from this post and his most recent outing came from the eight-hole, resulting in a no chance trip. (1) SULLIVAN wired a field of $30,000 claimers last Saturday night and gets post relief in this event. Dan Dube takes over the driving with Joe Bongiorno not here. (6) KB MAC lost all chance a week ago when he broke behind the gate. He had two victories prior to that and could offer some value coming off the miscue.
Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace
I've been trying to beat (5) ITALIAN DELIGHT N pretty regularly lately but he just keeps delivering. I'll join his bandwagon tonight, especially since he drew mid-pack instead of outside. (4) WAIMAC ATTACK N has hit the board five times in his last seven appearances, including a pair of victories over $15,000 claimers. He did defeat ITALIAN DELIGHT N once back on May 18. (3) MCCLINCHIE N finished a pretty good second from the nine-hole over at the Meadowlands last time. He drew well tonight and has had plenty of success at Yonkers before.
Race 8 - F&M NW1/20121LT Pace
(2) PALADIO makes her second start back after some time off here and also is on Lasix again. She moves way inside on the gate after starting from the seven-hole on 6-29, has a win over NW1's at Yonkers on May 4 and trainer Travis Alexander continues to send out plenty of live horses. (1) WHOLE LOTTA LUCK shows a third against NW2's at Yonkers on the 1st of June and qualified pretty well at Gaitway Farm most recently. (5) LADY BLUE JAY defeated NW1's two back and has been racing well overall since her qualifier on June 7.
Race 9 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(4) EUPHORIA N put in a solid performance most recently at the Meadowlands, finishing second and coming up just a neck short of winning. The last time he was at Yonkers back in mid-May, he picked up a check against much tougher NW30000L5 base class foes. (3) BELMONT MAJOR N qualified well over the oval in a quick time last Friday. In his last two appearances at Yonkers, he faced stronger $60,000 claiming handicap company. (2) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N is moving up from the NW5000L5's but is doing so off a victory. He drew another inside post here and gets another chance with Tyler Buter in the bike.
Race 10 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace
(1) SWEETSOUTHRNLASS N showed what she's capable of last Saturday with a crunching victory over NW1 company. I think she should be able to handle moving up the class ladder starting with this spot tonight. (3) THINK AHEAD is a second-time starter out of the Alexander barn and finished in the runner-up spot behind a sharp foe at this level a week ago. (2) OAKWOOD DYNASTY IR tired last week but did win in this class prior to that. She moves in from the eight-hole to post two this time.

Race 11 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(3) MR GRANT posted a second-place finish last Saturday in a division of the Grand Circuit Landmark Stake at Goshen Historic Track. He was in the MGM Yonkers Trot elim prior to that, so he returns to overnight action here. He gets a catch driver after being handled by the trainer at Goshen Historic Track, and I'll give him a chance. (1) NATIONAL LOVE AS starts from the pole and won in this class two starts back. I think he simply faced tougher foes last Saturday when he was sixth, so I can overlook that performance. (6) STOCKHOLM HANOVER gained ground in the lane in a third-place result at this level a week ago. He did defeat NW2 company at Yonkers back on May 11.
Race 12 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(3) IHAVEADREAM DE VIE romped to a win over NW4 foes at Pocono the last time she was in an overnight race on 4-30, and she's been racing pretty well against stakes foes since, including a fourth in her division of the New York New York Mile most recently. (1) MEETMEATTHEBAR miscued in another division of the New York New York Mile on June 28 but did finish with trot. (2) THE K BAR has been outside the top three just once in six appearances in 2024 and was a gaining second in this class last Saturday.
