2026 MEET STATS: 105 - 387 / $734.50 (-$39.50) BEST BETS: 22 - 41 / $70.76 (-$11.24) SPOT PLAYS: 10 - 41 / $123.20 (+$41.20) BEST BET - SHAKE IT (1st) SPOT PLAY - BIZZY BRENDA (8th) This concludes Saturday afternoon racing at Yonkers until August 1. The schedule shifts back to Monday through Friday at 6:45 p.m. (EDT) beginning next week. Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace (4) SHAKE IT finished second in his third straight quality effort last week and now debuts for a stable that compiled a 4-1-1 record from six starters on Monday and Tuesday at Yonkers. (2) MOVIN' ON UP won handily on the front-end a week ago and has hit the board in five out of his last seven tries overall. (1) PINK FLOYD HANOVER lacks a recent win but has several underneath results in his lines and does get post relief this time. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (7) BIG CITY DAISY drew another outside post here but won handily against $20,000 claimers back on 5-9 and drops today after taking on $25,000 claiming company in her last two tries. (4) JIVE DANCING A has finished in the exacta in six out of her last seven chances and led a long way before she wound up second most recently. (3) WHO'S PERFECT slides in on the gate from post six to the three-hole this time and owns a victory at this level on 5-21, plus a trio of recent third-place results. Race 3 - 20000CLM Pace (4) FOXHUNT scored his last win on 4-8 for trainer Dennis Laterza, and he returns to his stable here against a fairly wide-open group. (5) MINOTAUR was game from first-over in winning at this level last Saturday and races for the same hot stable I mentioned with my top selection in Race 1. (1) TONTO RETURNS has hit the board in five of his last seven appearances and tallied in this class a couple of times in April for the leading trainer at the oval. Race 4 - 15000CLM Pace (2) SHINE A LIGHT is riding a win streak that dates back to late February, and I don't see that changing today from an inside post. (3) LETSMAKELOTSAMONEY was second to SHINE A LIGHT when they met on 5-28 and has hit the board in five of his last seven tries overall. (6) COWBOY CARGO came in third in the same race that my top two selections come out of, and that's where I'm going to slot him here also. Race 5 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 65201LT / NW2 or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace (8) TURN UP THE MUSIC will have to overcome post eight but had a recent three-race win streak down at Harrah's Philadelphia and makes her second start on Lasix. (5) YOULLFINDOUT was victorious in a similar class to this one last Saturday at Yonkers and squeezed into this event by a dollar under the lifetime earnings cap. (4) CRYSTAL COAST is a third-timer off the shelf today and exits a quick mile at Tioga where she was a closing runner-up. Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 70135LT / NW2 or 30000LT Draw Inside Trot (3) AJAX BLUE CHIP backed up his strong qualifier at the Meadowlands on 5-15 with a closing second-place finish a week ago, and I'll look for him to break through today. (5) PRESS took a couple of starts to get acclimated to the trotting hobbles but has two seconds and a win in his last three tries now. Brent Holland got along well with him on 5-23 and returns to the bike this afternoon. (2) GOYA comes east for her 2026 debut off a winning qualifier at Scioto Downs and won a leg of the Kentucky Golden Rod Series at The Red Mile as a 2-year-old. Race 7 - NW13901L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace (4) ORLANDO BLUE A went off-stride in two straight starts at Yonkers but came back with a sharp qualifier at Pocono and shows a pair of victories and a third locally against what should be tougher $40,000 claimers. (6) ROLLING WITH SAM took one shot against NW15000L5 company and now drops back to the level where he cut the mile and wound up third on May 19. (2) MAC'S MARVEL just missed after a first-over grind a week ago and offsets a step up the ladder with post relief. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 91573LT Trot (1) BIZZY BRENDA began her campaign with a second and then a win, and I'm going to hope she can get back to that here as she moves in from the eight-hole to post one and should be much closer to the action. (4) SEVEN LAYER was victorious at this level last Saturday. Vinny Ginsburg handled him in that race and is in the bike again this afternoon. (2) HALFADOZEN wound up first-over and was second when she met up with SEVEN LAYER a week ago. She does have a triumph in this class on the 16th of May. Race 9 - NW5181L5 / 12500CLM Pace (2) MAJORCROWDCONTRL A showed speed last Friday but got parked out and tired. Despite the bad result, I take it as a positive that he left the gate, and he moves in to post two tonight for that hot stable I went with back in the opener. (4) THE FAMILY MAN finds what should be a softer spot than he's been in lately and he does own a victory at Yonkers back in mid-April. (6) DONTTELLMENOW finds the bottom level and while not in great form, this trainer's horses often wake up when they get this low on the ladder.
