Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace

(5) BLATANTLY BEST got the job done for us at a big number a couple of weeks ago, and while I'm not expecting 35-1 again, I do think he can pick up another victory. (3) BAKERSFIELD has a win and two third in his last three efforts and moves inside on the gate tonight. (1) KEYSTONE DASH can definitely win, especially since he hails from the Gareth Dowse barn, but he could only manage a fourth at odds-on against $15,000 claimers on 6-17, and I think you have to take a chance against him.

Race 2 - 50000CLM Pace

(2) MACINTOSH N moves up from the $40,000 claimers but has hit the board in six straight efforts, including a victory a week ago, and makes his third start for Dowse. (1) OURRHYTHMNBLUES N picked up some positions in the back-half of his mile a couple of Saturdays ago and slides inside from post six to the pole position in his second attempt for Scott Di Domenico. (3) OZONE BLUE CHIP handled $50,000 claiming company in his debut for Travis Alexander last week and remained in that barn as he wasn't claimed.

Race 3 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(5) GLENGARRY KNIGHT N has some class relief here, dropping out of tougher spots, and even though he got parked out on 6-13, I think it was a positive sign of intent that he fired out. (7) MACHEASY A finished a close third in a NW15000L5 event at Yonkers on June 13 and returns after one appearance in the Open at Tioga. (3) CAN B PERFECT tallied over NW7500L5's last Friday, and while he moves up a notch tonight, he moves inside on the gate and gets another shot with Jason Bartlett.

Race 4 - 30000CLM Pace

(4) LOVE THE BLUES N needs a little more pace to chase than he's gotten in his races this month, and I think he could get it here as there appears to be plenty of leavers. I'll take a shot. (1) URBAN RENEWAL has two straight third-place finishes and goes for a duo in Austin Siegelman and Nick Devita who have been pretty hot. (3) SOUTHWIND ONYX just missed by a neck after sitting in the pocket a couple weeks ago and has a driver switch to Jordan Stratton.

Race 5 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Trot

(5) NEWSBOY debuts for trainer Per Engblom in this race. That factor has been moving up many horses at venues around the Northeast lately, and I will swing with him. (2) BLUEBIRD JESSE Finished third in his first start for trainer Izzy Estrada last Saturday. I expect he'll get plenty of attention since he has a driver switch to Bartlett tonight. (4) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE has gone way off form but he's won at much higher levels in the past and gets a pilot in Brent Holland who won't be afraid to hustle him out.

Race 6 - NW10000L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(1) AIR FORCE HANOVER came to life with a huge mile on June 14 and looks like the controlling speed again from the pole position tonight. (3) RAUKAPUKA RULER N was facing NW15000L5's here earlier this month before he went over to Tioga and finished a good second to a classy horse in Southwind Ozzi in their Open. He gets reunited with Bartlett tonight. (7) WINDSUN RICKY exits the Pop-Up Series for NW15000L5's and scored his last win at this level back in April.

Race 7 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Trot

(4) CON AIR HALL was claimed on 6-9 and won two starts back. Tonight he gets post relief and picks up a catch driver in Stratton. (1) LIMERENCE had every chance to go by Tad Krazy Hanover in the stretch a week ago but had to settle for second. He does move up a level but got the pole position to help his cause. (5) HOMER HALL invades from Indiana with two straight victories and is now with Estrada. He took his season's mark a year ago here at Yonkers.

Race 8 - 30000CLM Pace

(3) GINGER TREE PETE owns just one on-the-board finish since he joined the Jared Bako barn, but he slides down out of the $40,000 claimers here, and hopefully he can find a better trip than the ones he's had in his last two outings. (1) SOUTHPORT BEACH went a long way on the lead last Saturday before getting picked off by the razor-sharp Little Power and is another contender for the Bartlett/Dowse duo. (2) IDEAL WHEEL comes in from Pocono where he's been close in some fast miles in their $30,000 claiming handicaps. He looks like he can race either on the lead or from behind, which should help.

Race 9 - 40000CLM Pace

(6) PICARD A is back tonight after racing at Saratoga in his last two starts. He downed $40,000 claimers when last at Yonkers on May 20. (3) I GET THAT comes in with back-to-back victories for the Siegelman/Devita combination and moves back to an inside starting slot after having post six last Saturday. (4) THE DOWNTOWN BUS has hit the board in five straight appearances and drew into this race off the also-eligible list.

Race 10 - NW11455L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Trot

(1) JOHAN PALEMA captured the MGM Yonkers Trot final last year and makes his first appearance at the track since then tonight. He was a gaining third-over at the Meadowlands last time out, and horses from Ake Svanstedt that pick up Dan Dube here seem to always do well. (6) SWINGFORTHEFENCES is the other obvious one in here as he's been facing much better lately. (3) CASINO CUTIE IT just missed by a nose at this level when last at Yonkers on June 4 and has done pretty well at this oval in her past.
