Race 1 - NW2/25000LT / NW1/12500LT Draw Inside Trot
(7) SUPER DUPER COOPER finished third in the NY Sire Stakes final as a 2-year-old and finished off his mile well in his one qualifier down at Southern Oaks Training Center on 4-19. He lures Jason Bartlett in for just this one drive, so that tells me he's likely live. (5) CENTRAL PARK made just one start as a rookie but won a recent qualifier at Harrah's Philadelphia and gets Andy Miller to come in and steer her. She was also a $400,000 yearling buy, so the connections must have seen something they liked. (2) RILEY'S REBEL hit the board in four of her seven starts as a freshman and hails from the high-percentage Travis Alexander barn.

Race 2 - F&M NW2/25000LT Pace
(2) QUIET ASSURANCES finds a much more reasonable spot tonight than the NW10000L5 base class event she was in on 4-19 and gets post relief to go with it. She took her mark last year over the half-mile oval at Ontario's Grand River Raceway. (1) OBJ was fourth in a fast NW2 event over at Pocono on 4-30 and returns to action on short rest here for a high-percentage barn. (7) JS KRYPTONITE was in the top three in half of her eight starts as a 2-year-old and appeared in a couple C level Kentucky Sires Stakes events in August. She's on Lasix to start her sophomore season.

Race 3 - F&M NW1/12500LT Pace
(2) AMERICAN HOPE didn't win as a 2-year-old but was competitive in the Kentucky Sires Stakes. I expect she'll be ready to fire for leading trainer Per Engblom. (1) PALADIO picked up a couple of checks in the Weiss Series over at Pocono and gives maiden rivals a try tonight, which should obviously be much easier. (6) URSULA BLUE CHIP is toting around a 0-for-31 win record but has been able to hit the board with some regularity against NW2's and faces NW1 company here. Maybe tonight will be her night to break through.
Race 4 - F&M Winners of 3 but not more than 5 PM Races or 60000LT Pace
(5) ROCK MY SOCKS was scratched out of a scheduled start at the Meadowlands last week and therefore has another gap in her lines, but she did tally in her 2024 debut in this class back on 3-27, so I'll swing with her. (6) CANNERY ROW rallied to get second in the event won by ROCK MY SOCKS on March 27 and returns tonight from Pocono where she picked up a couple of checks against NW4 company over there. (2) AMBUSHED looked solid in both of her Pocono qualifiers for these high-percentage connections and made three stakes appearances late in her 2023 campaign.
Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace
(4) WAIMAC ATTACK N invades from Pocono for Travis Alexander and gets to face straight $15,000 claiming rivals here rather than the $15,000 claiming handicaps that Pocono has. He shows a win on March 18 and a second on 3-30. (1) ALOTBETTOR N has finished second in both of his tries since returning to action and dropping to this level. I'll include again. (2) LYONS JOHNNYJNR has been in the top three in his last three starts and drew another inside post here, making him usable.
Race 6 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(1) MARLBANK ROAD moves from post eight to the pole in his third start back after the layoff and catches a beatable group. I have to think if he's going to show something it'll be here, especially as he picks up Matt Kakaley. (6) MIDNIGHT NATION made the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final last year and gained several spots and a bunch of ground with a 26 and change final quarter in his last try at the Meadowlands. (5) VIVA LAS VEGAS N gives this class another try after kicking home in 27 4/5 to get a fourth on April 26.
Race 7 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(2) MY CARBON COPY N doesn't have a win yet in 2024 but fired home in 27 1/5 in a third-place finish in this class a week ago and gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate. (1) AIR FORCE HANOVER went down the road to defeat NW5000L5 rivals on April 26 and will probably try to do the same thing tonight from the pole and with an aggressive driver in George Brennan. (5) GINGRAS BEACH drops again and gets a bit of post relief to go with it. He was second the last time he was in a NW7500L5 race back in mid-March.
Race 8 - NW5961L5/12500CLM Pace
(5) CYRUS N lands at the bottom level tonight after finishing a rallying second in a NW7500L5 tilt in his last try on 4-18. He was Brent Holland's choice of two in here. (3) MIND HUNTER is winless thus far in 2024 but drops out of the NW7500L5 class after rallying in a 27 second final quarter to gain spots and ground on April 26. (2) WICHITA LINEMAN cut the fractions and was fifth in the same race that MIND HUNTER exits. He gets reunited with Brennan here, and I imagine he'll be handled aggressively again.

Race 9 - 30000CLM Pace
(2) TIN ROOF RAIDER A gets an inside draw here after a bunch of mid-pack or outside draws. He was unable to get involved from post seven on 4-22 but did close out his mile well, which makes me think he may have some hidden form. (6) B COOL FOOL won last time out at Pocono and hasn't been out of the trifecta since joining Engblom's barn. He would have likely won here at Yonkers back on April 10 but was boxed in through the stretch. (4) SMOKIN BY N steps up from the $20,000 claiming level but has won four times and finished second once in his last five efforts out of Dennis Laterza's barn.
Race 10 - 20000CLM Pace
(6) TYGA HANOVER showed speed on 4-25 against $25,000 claimers but ended up getting parked out. I take it as a positive sign that they left with him, and he drops a notch tonight. Dan Dube is known for sending horses out of there, so that's certainly a possibility again. (2) JOJO'S PLACE was third in a $20,000 claimer on 4-24 and trainer Chris Height has been sending out some live horses as of late. (1) IM A POWERPLAY A slides down from the $25,000 claiming class and starts from the pole. He shows a couple of on-the-board finishes against $30,000 claimers, so he's capable if good enough.
