MEET STATS: 75 - 317 / $532.50 (-$101.50) BEST BETS: 21 - 30 / $87.50 (+$27.50) SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 30 / $32.10 (-$27.90) BEST BET - EUPHORIA N (5th) SPOT PLAY - SMOOTH DEBATE N (9th) Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace (3) DANCE ON THE BEACH was third in this class two back and then had no shot from post seven on 4-23. He drew inside here and gets a driver switch to Mark MacDonald. (4) LYONS BENJAMIN cut the fractions and wound up third in an age-restricted $30,000 claimer last time out. This should be a drop tonight and he shows a win at Yonkers in late March. (5) DELIGHTFUL TERROR steps up from the $15,000 claimers but has been very sharp for a long time and has three straight victories. He debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 40000CLM Pace (3) MIND HUNTER landed an inside post here after three straight poor draws and shows a win in this class back on 3-26. He was also re-claimed by trainer Dennis Laterza out of his last race on 4-21 and gets reunited with Brent Holland. (2) ILIKEMEBETTOR A won a couple of times against $40,000 claimers in March and went a long way on the engine before he wound up foruth most recently. (1) LAZ exits the age-restricted $30,000 claimers but has won two in-a-row, starts from the pole and debuts for a high-percentage stable after a claim. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - 15000CLM Pace (4) KNOCKIN OUT finished a closing fourth in this class the last time he was seen at Yonkers and I think he's been facing tougher company over at the Meadowlands since then. (6) I'M J BEE N starts from the outside but has hit the board in five of his last six tries and looks usable to me. (1) WAIMAC ATTACK N moves inside on the gate to the pole position and has posted two victories and a second since he returned to action. He is with new connections here after a claim. Race 4 - 30000CLM Pace (3) JACK'S LEGEND N tallied two back and then was a solid third in this class on 4-24. He kept Holland over two others in here, and I'll back him as well. (5) HURRIKANEKINGJAMES has back-to-back second-place finishes at this level since he came south from Saratoga. This stable is always capable of having one ready to fire, and he gets a new driver in Austin Siegelman. (4) UP THE CREEK moves in a couple of slots on the gate tonight and has gained ground in the final quarter of his last two races from poor posts. Race 5 - NW8291L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace (1) EUPHORIA N posted a fourth-place finish in a NW10000L5 event in his last outing on 4-22. He starts from the pole position tonight and drops a notch. (3) I DRAINTHESWAMP A was third in this class most recently and moves inside on the gate this time. (5) TWIN B RISENSHINE squeezed into this race by a dollar as he has earned $8,290 in his last five starts. He's on a three-race streak of hitting the board, including a closing third at this level last time out. Race 6 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (2) JOHN THE BAPTIST has had success in this class before and has closed out his last two miles with solid final quarters. He gets post relief here and this stable has been sending out some live horses lately. (3) ON DAYBOO doesn't have a win yet in 2025 but was second at this level two and three starts back and slides in a few notches on the starting gate. (4) DONTTELLMENOW scored against age-resticted $20,000 claimers back on April 10 and was a rallying second most recently. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (4) GINGER TREE PETE took one unsuccessful shot against $20,000 claimers and now returns to the level where he was racing well prior to that. He also gets Holland back at the controls. (2) VESPA N rallied to beat a heavy favorite in his last try on 4-23 and starts from another inside post. (5) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N posted a runner-up finish when he slid down to this level on April 23 and takes another crack at it here. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 71058LT Trot (4) SHES A SHOE IN won the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes final for 2YO filly trotters a year ago, and I'll look for her to get the job done in her first outing of 2025 here. Her qualifier was fine over the track on 4-25 and the result was as well since she was in against pacers. (3) MA ISABELLE tallied in this class two back and then prevailed again in a subsequent effort over at Pocono. (2) SHE'S SPICY makes her third appearance of the season tonight and gets significant post relief for leading trainer Per Engblom. Race 9 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (1) SMOOTH DEBATE N doesn't have any super-obvious form but makes her third start with Lasix, and if she's ever going to wake up, I have to think it'll come in a spot like this against a wide-open group and from an inside draw. (2) DW'S DARLENE was third in this class in her most recent try on April 22 and moves in on the starting gate from the seven-hole to post two. (6) JUST ROSAS LUCK lost all chance when she got parked out on 4-23 but was racing well prior to that and was claimed again.
