(5) JIVE DANCING A enters with back-to-back handy victories in this class and races out of a high-percentage stable. (1) CHARMING VIXEN was second in the same race that JIVE DANCING A exits and starts from the pole position again. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (2) THEMASKEDCRUSADR N doesn't have any wins yet in 2026 but drops out of open $25,000 claiming races and moves inside on the gate here against a fairly wide-open group. (5) ROSE RUN ASTRO posted a couple of handy victories at this level back in March and finished a gaining third last time out. He debuts for a high-percentage stable off a claim today. (3) DISMAS goes for the leading driver/trainer combination, closed with pace in a runner-up effort in this class on April 23 and gets post relief here. Race 3 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace (3) ALWAYSWITHYOU invades from Pocono in good form, including a trio of check-getting efforts in their NW4 class. She also gets some post relief off her last appearance in Pennsylvania. (4) ALWAYSBPUFFING IR has hit the board in six of her last seven efforts and has victories at this level on 4-8 and 4-22. She gets a driver switch to Jason Bartlett today as well. (6) SEND IT DOWN SLIM starts from the outside post but has been out of the trifecta just twice thus far in 2026 and was third in the races won by ALWAYSBPUFFING IR on April 8 and 22. Race 4 - NW2 / 43426LT Trot (3) SHOESTRINGS gained from sixth to third in the final quarter of her first outing of the year on 4-22 and now moves inside on the gate tonight. She had a pretty solid 2-year-old campaign, and I'll look for her to get the job done this afternoon. (4) CHAPTER GEO J didn't win as a freshman but did hit the board in his New York Sire Stakes final and qualified well at the Meadowlands on April 18. (1) ACOUSTIC BLUE CHIP exits the Weiss Series over at Pocono for a high-percentage stable and gets post relief after he had the six-hole in his last effort in Pennsylvania. Race 5 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT / Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Draw Inside Trot (7) PORTOBAROSSO AS NL has been knocking on the door in this class since he returned to action and should continue to offer pretty good value since he drew the outside post. (2) KAYS IN CHARGE owns a win at this level back on April 15 and gets a bit of post relief after she had the four-hole most recently. (5) HALFADOZEN led for a long way before she wound up third in the John Brennan Series consolation on the 22nd of April and hit the board in this class back on the 8th of April. Race 6 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (3) BROOKDALE MIKI couldn't get involved from a bad post in his last try on 4-23 but did close in 28 and change and moves inside on the gate today. He won handily at Yonkers on 4-9 and switches drivers to Jordan Stratton today. (1) TONTO RETURNS owns a couple of recent victories against open $20,000 claimers and faces age-restricted rivals this afternoon from the pole position. (6) MINOTAUR enters with back-to-back triumphs, including at this level on April 23. He debuts for new connections off a claim here. Race 7 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (2) BRULEE cruised against NW4 foes over at Pocono on 4-7 and backed that up with a third in a subsequent try. When he came over to Yonkers on 4-22, he had the eight-hole, so I can overlook that he just managed a sixth-place finish. Here, he drew well and catches a group I think he can handle. (3) MARIN COUNTY has a couple of recent triumphs in this class and finished a good second to a well-meant favorite on April 22. (1) WHAT A BUCKEYE has made breaks as the favorite in both of his local efforts but got around the oval fine in a qualifier on the 24th of April. Hopefully he can build on that flat line today. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - 20000CLM Pace (5) PINK FLOYD HANOVER rallied to finish third-placed-second in his last try on April 22 and has shown the ability to race well off a variety of trips. (3) LOU'S BEACH wound up in the runner-up spot on 4-22 after he cut the fractions and has hit the board five of his last seven trips behind the gate (it would be six of seven if not for that second-placed-eighth on 4-15). (1) I'M SOME GRADUATE steps up from the $15,000 claimers here but has won three in-a-row and offsets the class hike by moving inside to the pole position. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace They haven't been able to beat (4) SHINE A LIGHT in many weeks, and I don't see that changing today. Take the 1-9 and move on. (1) SARANAC BLUE CHIP starts from the pole position again and owns a victory against tougher $20,000 claimers on March 18. (2) ROCKET FREIGHT shows a couple of recent second-place results in this class and has shown the ability to both go to the front and gain from off-the-pace.
