MEET STATS: 82 - 356 / $596.40 (-$115.60) BEST BETS: 22 - 34 / $98.50 (+$30.50) SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 34 / $32.10 (-$35.90) BEST BET - THIRD EDITION (7th) SPOT PLAY - HELSINKI (4th) Race 1 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (3) SOUTH POINT was the dominant force in this class before he moved up to face tougher company in his last three outings. I'll look for him to get the job done in his return to this level, especially as he gets some post relief off his last effort. (2) SONO CONFUSO had missed some time coming into his most recent try and this age-restricted claiming race should be a softer spot than the winners of 2 but not more than 4 tilt he was in. (5) SHAKE IT has been racing well in recent weeks, capped off by a victory a week ago. Pat Lachance has been doing well with him and gets another chance to catch drive him tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace (1) TIN ROOF RAIDER A slides in from post seven to the pole position in his third outing for this stable and hopefully that'll keep him closer to the action as he has gained ground in the final quarter of all his miles at Yonkers. (5) REAL PEACE broke through for his first win of 2025 last week and should be brimming with confidence off that performance. (7) KARLOO BRADLEY N drops again for a high percentage stable and shows a victory against tougher $30,000 claimers as recently as mid-March. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / F&M NW2 PM Races LT Draw Inside Pace (4) DEFAMATION performed well in the Weiss Series over at Pocono, winning two legs and finishing fourth in the final. She moves to overnight action tonight and was Brent Holland's choice of two horses. (2) LADY BLUE JAY closed well in a second-place effort at this level a week ago and gets a bit of post relief here. (3) SEND IT DOWN SLIM was heavily-favored in that race LADY BLUE JAY exits but could only manage a fifth in her 2025 debut. She should be sharper with that start under her belt. Race 4 - 15000CLM Pace (2) HELSINKI didn't get involved from post seven last Saturday but gets considerable post relief tonight and a driver switch to Holland. I'll bank on him being put in play and give him top call. (1) PRINCE OF TIDES drops out of the $20,000 claimers and also slides in from the seven-hole to the pole position this time. He shows three wins against tougher claimers at Yonkers and is likely the one to beat. (4) WAIMAC ATTACK N hasn't been outside the exacta since he returned to competition and debuts for new connections after he was claimed again a week ago. Race 5 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (1) GILLYS DE VIE tallied at this level two back and starts from the pole position here after he's had mid-pack or outside draws both here and at Pocono thus far in 2025. (4) FLIGHT OF FRITZ was third in this class last Saturday and hasn't missed the board in six outings overall this year. (5) TO MY CREDIT posted a third-place finish a week ago in his first try down from Maine and I think is facing softer company tonight than he did in that event. Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (5) BEAT BOBBY BAYOU looked the part in his Yonkers debut a week ago as he scored from first-over at this level. I'll look for the same result tonight, though he does face a sharp foe in (1) WALKWHILEYOURTALKN, who took another division of this class last Satruday and also was victorious on 4-23. (4) KELLY'S GREATEST enters off a sick scratch but was sharp prior to that. Her recent results include a second to WALKWHILEYOURTALKN in that race on April 23. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (4) THIRD EDITION appeared like he had a good amount of pace in the stretch last week and now joins the Cory Stratton stable off a claim. Stratton sent out some live horses a week ago and hopefully this is another one. (2) ON THE VIRG battled tenaciously in a third-place finish at this level last Saturday and got the nod from Holland over another horse in this race. (3) ONE OF THE GUYS makes his third start on Lasix and was third in a $15,000 claimer on the 30th of April. George Brennan takes over the driving as well. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (8) MEETMEATTHEBAR will have to overcome post eight, but her last three miles have been very good and I think she's worth a shot in the hopes of an aggressive try. (3) LOUS GAMBLER owns a recent victory over $40,000 claimers at Yonkers and was fourth in this class a week ago after receiving some wagering support. I'll toss him in underneath. (6) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS has a win at this level on the 23th of April and has hit the board in six of his last seven appearances overall between Yonkers and the Meadowlands. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (1) I'M J BEE N was unable to seal the deal on the front-end last week but he makes his second start out of the Stratton stable tonight, and I view it as a positive that Cory hops in the bike himself. This horse does show two recent victories against $15,000 claimers also. (3) SAILBOAT HANOVER has gotten sharp with a win and a second in his last two appearances and gets a bit of post relief this time. (4) GINGER TREE PETE is another horse who has had success in this class before, and he gets reunited with Holland.
