(1) STAR HAIRDRESSER has been outside the trifecta just once in five tries since he came south from Saratoga and won at this level on April 30. He also gets post relief here as he moves in from post five to the pole position. (2) SHES A SHOE IN had some trot in the lane a week ago in her first outing of 2025 and should be sharper tonight. My only concern is she has bigger fish to fry in upcoming stakes events. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) HARPER SEELSTER drops a notch out of the $25,000 claiming class and raced well in two quick miles at the Meadowlands back on 3-28 and 4-4. I'll give her a try from a good draw and against a beatable group. (1) JUST ROSAS LUCK hasn't had the best trips in her last two appearances but slides in on the gate from post six to the pole position and shows two recent victories at this level. (5) DISARONNO HILL rallied to score against $20,000 claimers last Saturday and just needs them to battle up front again to set up her off-the-pace style. Race 3 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (4) THE THING IS didn't threaten in his last outing on 4-23 but was sharp prior to that and won at this level on April 16. He gets to move in a couple of notches on the starting gate here. (1) NOTTINGHAM recently added Lasix and has gained ground in the final quarters of his last three miles. He starts from the pole position and gets reunited with Jim Marohn Jr. tonight. (6) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS prevailed two back and then just missed by a head after he cut the fractions in a subsequent try. He was Brent Holland's pick over two other horses, which I also respect. Race 4 - 15000CLM Pace (7) YOUR BROTHER drew poorly but has gotten sharp in recent weeks and prevailed in a $15,000 claimer when last seen on 4-23. He gets a new driver in Holland tonight, but I anticipate he'll be put in play. (6) WAIMAC ATTACK N has posted two wins and a pair of seconds since he returned to action and debuts for new connections after he was claimed out of his race last week. (1) TWIN B SPEED DIAL tired after he got parked out by my top choice on April 23 but shows three victories and a third at this level since mid-February. He also gets significant post relief, moving in from the five-hole to the pole position. Race 5 - 20000CLM Pace I'm going to give (2) RECORD YEAR another chance as he finally landed an inside post and was second in this class two starts back. He also gets a driver switch to George Brennan. (6) DELIGHTFUL TERROR now has four straight victories and had no issue with the hike up to the $20,000 level last Saturday. (7) PRINCE OF TIDES owns a pair of wins and a second since he came back to Yonkers off the one dull effort at Pocono. He does move out on the gate this time, which will likely help the price. Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (2) FLIGHT OF FRITZ ships in from Harrah's Philadelphia off a handy win over NW1 types and hasn't been out of the trifecta in five appearances overall in 2025. I'll use on top. (1) BEAT BOBBY BAYOU makes his third start after a layoff here and was third in a late closer for NW4's at Miami Valley on 4-16. He has new connections with Heidi Cushing training and Ron Cushing driving. (3) STOCKHOLM HANOVER gained ground in a third-place finish on 4-30 and switches back to a catch driver in Austin Siegelman. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (2) THIRD EDITION doesn't have a great win record over the past two years but posted back-to-back second-place finishes against $15,000 claimers over at Pocono and gets post relief off his last effort there. (6) MAXIMUS RED A led throughout in a victory in this class on 4-30, and that should have given him some confidence for this test. (1) GINGER TREE PETE moves in on the gate from post four to the pole position and has hit the board in five of his last seven trips behind the gate, including a victory at this level on the 9th of April. Race 8 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace / NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace (5) SHE'S EPIC missed a bit of time coming into her last try on 4-23 but put in a good effort to finish third. I'll hope she's sharper this time and give her top call. (2) MISS PERIGNON N has hit the board in three of her four U.S. tries and led a long way before she got caught at the wire last time. (3) SEND IT DOWN SLIM was third in her New York Sire Stakes final in 2024. I think she can contend but like her stablemate Shes A Shoe In back in race one, the connections probably have more focus on her upcoming stakes appearances. Mark MacDonald drove him to that victory and has the call again tonight. (3) SHADOW IN RED gained ground in the final quarter in a fourth-place performance on April 30 and moves in on the gate from the eight-hole to post three. (2) VELOCITY KOMODO has posted a win and a pair of seconds among his last four appearances and drew inside again here. He gets a new driver tonight in Dan Dube. Race 10 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (6) LYONS BENJAMIN dominated in a win the last time he raced in this class back on 3-27 and comes into this test off back-to-back third-place finishes. He also gets a driver change to Jim Marohn Jr. (2) DONTTELLMENOW won at this level a week ago and also on April 10. He moves in a couple of notches on the gate this time as well. (3) HURRIKANE CHEYENNE tallied against age-restricted $20,000 claimers two and three starts back. He exits one try against open $20,000 claimers last Saturday and debuts for new connections off a claim. He also gets a new driver in George Brennan.
