Race 1

(2)TIVOLI HANOVER was used to the lead, fended off all sorts of pressure and somehow lasted to the wire in a super effort last out; veteran can certainly repeat tonight. (1) ANSWER ME THIS has been awful in his last few and has clearly tailed off, but the drop in class and inside post could wake him up. (6) GENERAL MONTGOMERY was very un-Pena-like last week but he drops and Brennan stays with him.

Race 2

(1) WHATSITTOYOUGRANT had solid speed on both ends of his mile last week; tonight he lands the rail and should be primed to roll. (3) HANDSOME HARRY has loads of speed, loads of class. (5) MR TERRY FRA should be more involved with the post relief.

Race 3

(1) COME TOGETHER missed a nose out of the eight hole when last seen here; Jason Robinson trainee appears to be pretty logical selecting tonight. (2) BILL ONTHEHILL A rallied for a small share from a tough spot in his 2012 debut; he will be much closer to the action tonight. (3) WESTERN EDGE hung when it counted last out, could be tighter tonight.

Race 4

(6) WINDSONG FORTUNE is outside and faces some tough ones, but he's got the gate speed to overcome the post and the price should be right. (2) COLBY JATE showed a much-improved effort last out and he lures Brennan. (1) KANDI CHIP promises to be close up throughout.

Race 5

(6) NOBLES GRAND SLAM had nothing to be ashamed about last week, where he weakened a touch versus better rivals; he's at a winning level tonight. (1) DEFIANCE N went steadily for a share when last seen here. (5) EAGLE NOW was hard-used last week and understandably tired.

Race 6

(4) LUCKY MAN gets that needed post relief and appears to make plenty of sense in this spot. (1) GRAB YOUR KEYS was able to secure the pocket and held for second last week; can he do it again? (2) ART TWO D TWO has been solid for Buter.

Race 7

(4) EMERALD EXPRESS isn't the most reliable winner out there but he went a gutsy effort last week and he bears watching off that race. (2) UP FRONT TIM T lands inside, picks up Brennan. (1) MCRUSTY gets another crack at the rail.

Race 8

(5) EMJAYEM GRAND A was racing well at this level late last year for Team Anderson, which has already shown a couple of wins this season. (1) JACKED UP was second best from a similar spot two back. (2) BLUERIDGE WESTERN is a classy gelding that can't be overlooked.

Race 9

(3) SFUMATO had no chance in his local return; veteran should relish the post relief tonight. (6) ELECTRIC OUI was game in defeat last week. (8) SPY N could be a serious closing threat given a live trip.

Race 10

(4) ANDY BARAN is back at a winning level and he has speed to easily control the front. (3) SAND BENELLI has been a nice claim thus far for Laterza. (5) PEMBROKE NICK gets an interesting barn change to Lou Pena.

Race 11

(3) HICKORY HORACE is back in for a tag looking for three in a row. (6) PAN FROM NANTUCKET hasn't missed the board since arriving locally. (8) SAND SUMMERFIELD appears to have enough speed to overcome the post.

Race 12

(3) SOUTHERN ALLIE drops from the Open ranks for Burke and he should have little trouble with these. (2) SAILING CRUISE should be close up from the inside post and he can rally late. (5) SOUTHWIND TABOR has been a money-making machine for his connections.
