Race 1: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) EVER HOPING A went a vicious mile at this level two back then could not overcome a tough trip last out but managed to hold third. Moving to the rail and keeping Bartlett is the recipe for success tonight. (3) BETTOR BY SEASIDE was hinting at a win for these connections and put it all together last out; Adamczyk trainee has a legit chance to repeat. (2) IKNOWBETTER is back in for a tag and goes second-time Lasix.

Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) CAPT KARMA is now two-for-two since moving to the Bongiorno barn and adding Lasix. 4YO makes a modest move up in class and figures to have more to offer. (5) AMERICAN DEALER N faltered on the front end last week but it's tough to ever count this millionaire out. (1) ARODA N returns to Yonkers and beat a NW20000 field here back in July.
Race 3: 3-6YO Open Pace
(4) CAPTAIN MOORE A paced a big back half in last week's Open and edged clear impressively. Blackler trainee lands midpack again and there's no reason to think he can't repeat. (3) HOWLENTHEHILLS was second best to the top one after angling from the pocket and is a legit challenger but somehow is just 1 for 16 on the season. Due to the post draw the Alexander trainee does figure to have a tactical edge on his main rivals. (7) STERLING CHOICE moves all the way outside and hasn't shown leaving the gate recently when at a post disadvantage but maybe co-owner Bartlett can rally from behind for a share.
Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) SOUTHWIND IRON had a good freshman season and hasn't come back as strong as a 3YO but he recently changed hands to the Engblom outfit and raced well up at Tioga for his new connections. Picks up Bartlett here in a competitive race. (4) SWEETHOMEALABAMA N had little to offer in his last couple facing better from bad posts; better spot here. (2) CARABAO A has picked up his game since returning to Yonkers and he has the class to compete with a bit better.
Race 5: $40,000 Claiming Pace - $10K Gtd. Pick 5 Pool
(3) AMERITRIC gets much-needed post relief after finishing with pace from too far back in his last two. Overall that's three good efforts since the recent claim. (1) LYRICAL GENIUS A draws best and picks up Bartlett; logical. (4) HIMSELF N crushed the field the last time he was at the $40K claiming level.
Race 6: NW30000 in last 5 starts
(1) HEZA RISK TAKER A has really responded the last three times Holland drove, including last week when he charged home for second at a big price. Gelding should be a major player from the rail. (2) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A gets major post relief after touring the track from post eight last out. (4) KWICK SAND A hasn't won in a couple of months but he's clearly been knocking at the door and overall he's had a big 2026 season for the Stratton barn.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) UDDERLY SWEET A finished second and third when forced to hike to this level, then his last two he never got involved from the outside posts. Bongiorno trainee seems to have upset possibilities with a clean trip. (3) YOUNG BLUEY A gets needed class relief and draws well enough to be a major player; import recently added Lasix and shows a series of strong final quarters. (1) ALWAYS A THRILL goes from one end of the spectrum to the other as he trailed throughout from the eight hole but will be player tonight from the rail.

Race 8: NW32101 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) VERDUN never puts in a bad effort, always makes money and has proven to always be capable of stepping up with a live trip. Lachance trainee should be an honest price. (6) RAILROAD STATION has won four of his last six and he gets a free ride at this level after winning at odds-on last week. (2) NEVERSTOPDREAMIN N hails from high-percentage connections and the recent import raced well in defeat in his last two.
Race 9: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(1) IM A POWERPLAY A just got nipped in his first start back after the six week hiatus and he went faster in defeat than most of these have been going. Estrada trainee is overdue to break his seasonal maiden. (4) WELL THAT'S MARKY did not fire coming out of the top one's race last week but he goes for new connections after the Laterza claim and maybe he improves. (3) THEMASKEDCRUSADR N is 0 for 25 and counting this year but he finished close from a similar spot two back.
