Race 1: 3-5YO $50,000/$75,000 Claiming Pace
(3) TOPVILLE SOMROCKET has impressed in two starts since arriving at Yonkers, but say bye-bye to the double-digit price. Drawing inside his main competition despite being entered for the higher tag this week makes him the pick. (4) STRIKING IMPACT is back in claimers after a win last week. His last-quarter action has been superb lately. (7) SHAKE IT was placed first in last week's 3-5YO Open and now he's in for the $75K base tag. Engblom trainee has Bartlett again and needs to dig deep down for some early speed.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR fired to the top last week from the outside post and dominated these on the front end; no value tonight but he figures to control these again. (3) HIGH ON ROCKNROLL left well and sat a nice pocket ride to the top one at a price. Recent Adamczyk claim should be looking for a similar trip. (2) ARRHYTHMIC SURGE gets much-needed post relief and note four and five back he was right there from inside draws.

Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) ALOTBETTOR N bumped up to this level after the 12YO was reclaimed by the Ruiz barn and he hasn't gotten involved from the seven hole, though last week he closed crisply for a share. Veteran will be forwardly placed tonight. (6) BALLERAT BOOMERANG has been razor-sharp his last three and if he gets position near the front then watch out! (2) GINGER TREE PETE draws better and can hit the board with a smooth trip from Bartlett.
Race 4: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) ANOTHRMASTRPIECE N was odds-on with last week's dropdown but he was nipped by Ozone Blue Chip. Drawing inside again he'll get another crack at controlling the action. (1) MOONLIGHT SHADOW figures to be right in the thick of the action with the move to the pole position. (3) JUSTASEC N has been sharp for an extended period of time and he certainly didn't disgrace himself when bumped back to this level off the Garcia-Herrera reclaim. Unsure about the trip with the top two inside of him but he should be on the rail near the front.
Race 5: NW21711 in last 5 starts Pace
As mentioned a couple of times previously (4) CAPTIVATE HANOVER was a great claim when plucked out of the $50's by Garcia-Herrera. Two back he wired similar then last week he had to come from behind when the controlling speed was inside of him and he did rally for a check. From this spot Dube can get aggressive again. (6) FAMILY RECIPE takes a needed drop in class and can be a player, from on or off the pace. (7) FORTIFY has been very sharp his last couple for Burke but the outside post may be his undoing.
Race 6: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) SAILBOAT HANOVER could not threaten last week in his return to the Berkeley barn, yet still came home in :27 1/5 (the winner sprinted in :26 4/5). He's as good as any in here and with the post improvement he could be the one. (6) DEETZY has been sizzling lately and does have the speed to blast off the gate, which he'll have to do for his best chance. (1) MICKY GEE N is a tough one to have on top but he can win this with a perfect trip.
Race 7: Open Handicap 1-4, 5-6 drawn Pace
(2) WHATS STANLEY GOT A has found life a little bit tougher at the Open level, but he was still second in those last two starts. With the good draw I'll give the Stratton brothers another chance. (4) NONE BETTOR A had no chance from post eight in the Kane at Batavia and he had missed time coming into that race. This is a much better spot for the veteran. (6) ROCKNROLL RUNA A also was in the Kane and didn't rally but all his prior starts have been great. Is he coming from last here? Probably.
Race 8: 3-5YO $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) HE'S SPECIAL had a little trouble getting involved in his first start off the DiDomenico claim when stuck outside after being entered for the higher tag but he's back in a much more realistic spot tonight. Brennan should be heading to the front (4) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER has been good for an extended period of time and for multiple barns; Bartlett picks up the drive tonight. (1) KOOTENAY SANTANNA gets another crack from the rail and can land a share.

Race 9: NW31751 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK finally gets away from Open company and he was a strong winner when last at this NW30000 level. (2) JACK'S LEGEND N has been solid recently with a win and three second-place finishes in his last four, and at three difference venues as well. Classy veteran will be in the thick of this. (1) NANDOLO N is having a profitable season but he's no longer a top-class threat. He does loom large with these, however.
Race 10: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) HUNTANOVER was second best to a runaway in a Yonkers start two back and he gets post relief from his Pocono try last week. Cullpiher trainee gets Stratton on the drive tonight and doesn't meet all that tough of a field. (2) SHINE A LIGHT has Bartlett for Engblom, was a good second last week and now draws better. Logical chalk. (4) IMSTAYNALIVE hit the board in his last three tries at this level; this looks like a good spot for Lachance to rally from midpack.
