Race 1: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(7) MISSED THE TRUTH A had to settle for second last week as the sharp winner had the jump on him but he was a game winner the start prior; has early speed and the right driver to overcome the outside post. (3) MUFFERAW JOE paced a good back half last start and ended up second, proving to be a nice fit at this level; improved post. (2) BOILING OAR isn't the winning type but with the major post relief he'll be close up and can certainly land a share.

Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(1) WELL THAT'S MARKY has a win and a good second in his two starts coming off the Laterza claim and he's clearly the one to beat from this spot. He won't offer any price but is a solid key in multis. (3) DISMAS has hit the board in his last five races at this level (including a win). (8) OZONE BLUE CHIP is still very competitive with this type and has left the gate from the outside in the past, so don't be too quick to dismiss because of the post.
Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MUSIC HALL was second best last week chasing the runaway winner in a good debut at the $40K claiming level; he has a similarly good post tonight and can be looking at a live stalking trip. (1) TOPVILLE SOMEBEACH could not last on the engine in debut for these connections but he gets another crack from the rail. (7) STELLAR YANKEE was beyond stellar in his first start for the Engblom camp off the claim then could not threaten when up in class, and was a distant third last week (behind #2). He gets Bartlett back in the bike but needs to overcome the bad draw.
Race 4: 3-6YO Open Pace
(1) WORLD OF WISHES moved to the Bongiorno barn three back and dominated in two straight at The Meadowlands, then backed up badly in the #Senditin at Philly but did finish with broken equipment. He lands the rail in his return to Yonkers and is a serious threat to take these all the way. (4) GO GO GRASSHOPPER has hit the board (with a win) in all five Yonkers races for the Burke barn and he's clearly the main threat. (5) STERLING CHOICE does his best work a level down but he did finish third in his last two races in this class; gets Bartlett back in the bike.
Race 5: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) PINNY TIGER A went a rugged trip from post eight last week and was a solid second but the two moves from the bad post did him in. He gets a free ride at this level from a much-improved post. (1) WHATS STANLEY GOT A drops back down, moves inside and is the main threat. (3) THE MIKI TAKER A was third best last out and can complete a chalky tri.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SPEAKER OF PEACE has been perfectly fine in recent starts but just hasn't had a legitimate chance. Now he drops in class and finally moves inside, so it should be all-systems-go. (2) JETT STAR N got needed class and post relief for his last start and finished a close third; figures to be right in the hunt again. (3) PRINTVILLE is just 1 for 27 on the year and that win was in a NW5000 event so it's tough to use him on top but he can certainly hit the board.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) CAPT KARMA is another horse on tonight's card who recently moved to the Bongiorno barn and improved dramatically. 4YO looks to stay perfect and take a fourth straight. (2) DUNKIN' has his moments and is never a toss, especially when drawn well. He was a close third last start. (4) TH COLBY won his last start and gets to stay in the same class as he still meets the NW10 lifetime condition. Burke trainee gets a new driver as Buter gets the call.
Race 8: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) MOSSDALE BEN N took a couple of weeks off after finishing fifth in the Aria Invitational and resurfaces in a softer field, and lands the rail to boot. Can the Pete Tritton trainee possibly lose from this spot? (2) MATAI PHIL N also gets some class relief and looks best of the rest. (3) NEVERSTOPDREAMIN N and (4) RAILROAD STATION can battle it out for third/fourth and complete some chalky exotics.

Race 9: Invitational Pace
(4) CAPTAIN MOORE A was won three straight in very impressive fashion and he should have every opportunity to grind down the speed again. (3) CHASE H HANOVER was also a solid winner from off the pace in his latest and expect him on the front here, at least in the early stages. (7) SWEET BEACH LIFE saw his long winning streak snapped in the Aria. Does he start a new one tonight? Totally possible, as he's overcome the outside post time and time again.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(1) THAT DOG WILL HUNT has proven to be a consistent participant in this $15K claiming class and from the rail against a soft bunch he can improve on that 2 for 26 seasonal record. (3) ROCKET FREIGHT wasn't close in his last two but did win in this class three back; Stratton with the call again. (2) ARTIST BEST stopped two back but was much better last week.
