?q=100)
2023 MEET STATS: 392 - 1109 / $2,065.30 (-$152.70)
BEST BETS: 59 - 103 / $196.80 (-$9.20)
BEST BET: LEONIDAS A (8th)
SPOT PLAY: FLOW WITH JOE (1st)
Race 1: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(4) FLOW WITH JOE changes hands again, now into the Garcia-Herrera barn after last week's $30K claim. He's proven at this level and should offer value coming off of a miscue. (1) DECOY raced well in his last three without a victory to show for it and now he goes back to the Adamczyk barn; major player tonight. (2) HUDSON PHIL gets major post relief and is loaded with back class; we're likely getting a much more aggressive drive tonight.

Race 2: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR took a big leap in class last week to the Open and was beaten by less than a length. He faces softer now and has the speed to overcome the outside draw. (3) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE also drops from the top level and was a winner from a similar spot four back. Draw for (1) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N gives him a good shot to land in the top three.

Race 3: 3-5YO $50,000/$75,000 Claiming Pace
(2) HE'S SPECIAL is back with DiDomenico which means Brennan is back aboard. He'll have a quick lead from this spot and the post edge on his main rivals may make the difference. (5) FULSOME leaves the gate quickly every start and that could set this shipper up with a nice trip. (7) CERTIFIABLE is back in for a tag for top connections but the post makes things more difficult.
Race 4: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) DEETZY has made almost $60K in two months for these connections after being claimed for $30K. He goes for six of seven tonight. (1) JAY BRACKEN A recently moved to the Stalbaum barn and picked up a win last week at Plainridge. He's in for a tag tonight and looking at a live trip from the rail. (3) KING JAMES EXPRESS got hung to dry last start but to his credit he hung around and didn't tire until very late.
Race 5: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(5) BALLERAT BOOMERANG went a tough trip off the claim but that was a 'one and done' for those connections as the prior guys took him back. He had been racing very well for this barn before last week. (2) STATEMENT MADE A has gradually been on the improve and the classy vet should factor prominently from this good draw. (4) COALITION HANOVER was second best when last at this level and he'll be a big price here; consider for underneath.
Race 6: 3-5YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(7) BETTOR SUN has been much-improved lately down at Philly and the Engblom trainee gets Bartlett back in the sulky. I'm looking for any signs of life in the wagering, will pays etc. (2) TWIG is also on the improve and finds a very live spot in his return to claimers. (1) COLD CREEK FELIPE has speed from the rail but needs to show more late.
Race 7: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) AMERICAN DEALER N has a couple of recent front-end wins out of town facing some upper-level competition and he's been an Open and Borgata participant at Yonkers this year. The Linda Toscano barn has been on some heater recently and this veteran fits well here. (1) MOONLIGHT SHADOW was a pocket winner from a similar spot last week and note Bartlett drives again over #5. (4) FORTIFY has been solid in practically all recent local starts for Burke.
Race 8: Open Handicap, 1-2, 3-7 drawn Pace
(4) LEONIDAS A hasn't seen the winner's circle in quite some time but he's been racing very well, including that strong close in the Aria to finish third to Bythemissal and Allywag Hanover. Siegelman has options from this midpack post. (5) AMERICAN MERCURY has been on a big-time roll for the Bongiorno barn and I wouldn't expect much of a dropoff with Buter catch-driving tonight. (3) WHATS STANLEY GOT A loses Stratton to #7 Covered Bridge so Kakaley gets the call and he's been first or second in all five local starts.

Race 9: NW30001 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) IDEALSOMEMAGIC A has gone from NW5000 to the top of the world this year and the Stratton trainee now gets enough money off his card where he can fit this lower conditioned class. Veteran clearly deserves top billing. (3) SONNY WEAVER N hasn't gone a bad mile in recent memory and though he flattened last week facing some similar foes with a smoother trip he can be right there. (2) QUALITY BUD always gives an honest effort and he's in another spot where he can save ground and rally late.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) SAILBOAT HANOVER plunges in class and should awaken. Far from a lock however. (6) AIR FORCE HANOVER remembered he's a half-million dollar earner last week with that blowout mile; can he repeat it? (1) RB was second best when transferring from NWX races to face more rugged competition; needs a little more, however.
Race 11: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) YOROKOBI N shook free with pace last week to muster a runner-up spot; he gets another crack from the rail hoping for a better result. Could Siegelman put him on the front? (4) CYRUS N stormed home to take his second straight from off the pace for the younger Tritton; if he developed some early speed to add to his arsenal he'd be a star! (2) THE REAL ONE can still bring it after all these years and the Lachance student steps up for the third consecutive start looking to hit the ticket again.
