2024 MEET STATS: 300 - 975 / $1,621.70 (-$328.30) BEST BETS: 43 - 84 / $152.60 (-$15.40) BEST BET: BLUE HUNT (5th) SPOT PLAY: ALABAMAJAMMA (7th) Race 1: NW21571 in last 5 starts Pace (4) GINGRAS BEACH has been going well lately picking up checks in his last seven with a win sprinkled in; Bucci trainee drops back down a notch and is in a good spot to gain a live trip. (1) SPORTY M THREE steps up off a win and should also be in line for a live trip. (5) NANDOLO N is back at Yonkers and reunited with Bartlett but is usually at the mercy of the pace. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3-5YO Open Pace (2) THUNDER HUNTER JOE wins the '2 through 6' draw and this is the best post he's seen in ages; chance for a winning trip. (3) RACING RAMPAGE flattened last week but has won his last four at this age-restricted Open level. (4) VENTURESOME ARDEN N was lost at the rear in the Aria but had been a model of consistency prior to that race. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) CHIMICHURRI N lands his first inside post in over two months and that combined with the mostly softer field he's facing here can get him over the top. (5) WHATS STANLEY GOT A tired in the Aria stake but to get invited in the first place must mean he's pretty good; main threat. (4) MY ULTIMATE BYRON A has quietly had a nice season with 19 board finishes already. Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace (6) BIG DREAM FELLA takes a notable drop from the $50's to the 40 claimers despite winning three back in for the higher tag; Kakaley can hopefully get the 4YO motivated to leave the gate. (5) FINAL CHEESERECIPE has closed well in his last two and hails from the suddenly strong Steve Smith/Garcia-Herrera pair. (4) MICKY GEE N was dull last week, good the week before, dull before that. Veteran has always been a tough one to play. Race 5: NW10141 in last 5 starts Pace (1) BLUE HUNT returned from Canada and ho-hum he only went 1:50 4/5 in a sizzling performance. 4YO repeats. (3) BUGABOO LOU has early speed and the Burke trainee can use that to set up a nice trip. (4) TICKERTAPE HANOVER arrives from Ohio for Virgil Morgan, Jr and I suppose the connections think he'll fit in nicely here. Race 6: $50,000 Claiming Pace (1) JUSTASEC N closed for second at a big price last week and he moves to a spot where he should be controlling the action, like he did three back in a win. (6) HEZ ALLTHE RAGE N picks up Bartlett and has early speed; Dilloian trainee looks like a must-use in here. (5) ORLANDO BLUE A drops from the 60's to the 50's and that can make a difference. Race 7: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) ALABAMAJAMMA was a winner up at Tioga in his first start off the barn change to Cullipher and perhaps he has more to offer. (5) GALANTE A would probably be better suited a level down but he gets Bartlett again and has left on occasion. (1) GREAT SOMEWHERE hasn't won in a while but Holland will have him winging from the rail. Race 8: Invitational Pace (3) AMERICAN DEALER N bumps back up to the top level off the strength of back-to-back wins and he's beaten this caliber in the past. Toscano trainee figures to be heading to the front again. (1) PLEASELETMEKNOW transitions from the age-restricted Open to this Invite and the rail assignment will keep him close. (2) HEMSWORTH N took money last week but stayed in and had traffic issues; Bako trainee will also be kept close and would be no surprise. Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) DEETZY successfully dropped and popped last week and this classy veteran has been known to string multiple big races together; gets the call to repeat. (5) BRUE HANOVER is back at Yonkers for Burke and faces softer than he did when last here; overall class relief makes him a big player and likely favorite. (3) WATTSUP SUNSHINE A hasn't missed a check since arriving from Down Under and the post relief helps his cause tonight. Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (3) POUND FOR POUND has been dull in his last few but he drops back to the level of his dominating win four back and he's got plenty of early speed. (5) POINTOMYGRANSON has become a bit unreliable lately when he's the chalk and now he has to step up off a loss; this 10YO classmaster can be put into play and land on or near the lead making him dangerous. (6) NIGHT HAWK was overmatched at the Open level but was a winner at this level two back, but that was from the two hole and now he lands outside his main competition. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 11: $40,000 Claiming Pace (1) WICHITA LINEMAN has taken two of three since being claimed by the Bongiorno barn for $30K and he looms the one to beat again from this spot. (2) SAN DOMINO A had the winning trip last week first out for DiDomenico and that's three straight for this $750K earner; good draw makes him a major player once again. (4) OZONE BLUE CHIP was reclaimed by the Adamczyk barn and he raced well for these connections; veteran is likely off the pace tonight with the speed inside of him. Race 12: $30,000 Claiming Pace (7) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING moves to a new barn via claim after a LONG run with Vallee, who had this horse from day one back in 2014. Oldtimer is back in for the same tag and Bartlett now drives the Devita trainee; maybe he can generate some early speed to overcome the post at a price. (4) TARGET AQUIRED is a three-year-old with just 14 lifetime starts but the Alexander trainee has been knocking at the door and Kakaley is back aboard. (3) SMOKIN BY N has the speed but finishing has been a problem in his last few; four back he wired similar.
