Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(6) REAL PEACE was off 3 1/2 weeks coming off a lame scratch yet he blew away a cheaper field. Emgblom trainee now bumps back up to the level he was claimed at a few months ago and faces a competitive field but an effort like last week makes him a player. (2) ONTO EL DORADO N didn't race badly from the seven hole in debut for these connections and the move inside should give him a legit chance. (7) BALLERAT BOOMERANG only has one recent win but he's been very sharp regardless; he goes for Berkeley now off the claim but will be hampered by the poor post.

Race 2: 3-5YO $50,000/$75,000 Claiming Pace
(5) STRIKING IMPACT sometimes takes a while to get going but his last-quarter action is always strong. I just feel he has a class edge on this group. (3) HE'S SPECIAL was reclaimed by Engblom and obviously returns to Bartlett looking to win again. (4) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER had dull cover and didn't really fire last week as the favorite but the good news is the price goes way up tonight and driver Joe Bongiorno has handled this one very well in the past.

Race 3: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ALLUNEEDISFAITH N was never a player in last week's Open when sent off at 28/1 from the rail; Bako trainee drops back down a bit to a level that suits him much better, and regular driver Kakaley returns. (2) SONNY WEAVER N was a solid second last out to the big favorite after leaving sharply from the outside to find the pocket; Cullipher trainee should go well here. (1) FORTIFY steps up to face better but he too has been sharp. Brennan has options leaving from the rail.
Race 4: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) DECOY has gone rugged uncovered trips in his two starts after being claimed by the DiCostanzo barn and tonight he drops back to the $30K level and starts from the rail. Lots to like here. (5) FLOW WITH JOE was the unlikely pacesetter last week in his debut for Laterza and he gave it a solid try. He's in a good spot to try those tactics again. (2) HUDSON PHIL has plenty of class and probably needed that return start; move inside helps his chances.
Race 5: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace - $10K Gtd. Pick 5 Pool
(2) CAPTIVATE HANOVER two-moved and won effortlessly last week. He can easily take another despite the move up in class. (1) TYPHOON BANNER N basically toured the track from the outside post in his U.S. debut and the Bongiorno-trained import can show what he has to offer tonight. (4) ANOTHRMASTRPIECE N was nipped on the wire two back at 2/5 and won last week at 3/5. Is he a serious win candidate again? Of course, but I'm looking to beat him.
Race 6: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) ALOTBETTOR N is unproven at this $50K claiming level but the Ruiz-trained veteran has been very sharp and seems capable of rolling late with a clean trip. (5) DEETZY was used to the front last week and somehow managed to hold on as the entire world was closing in on him. 11YO has made almost $50K in five starts for these connections after being taken for 30K and he's likely favored again. (2) POINTOMYGRANSON has been a big speed player since returning to Yonkers earlier this year and would be no surprise.
Race 7: 3-5YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) BARRYWHITE HANOVER won from the pocket two back and had some pace from the same trip but lacked clearance last week. Those were at the straight $15K claiming level, and he was taken by Cory Stratton and doubles the price tonight, but doesn't seem to be facing that much tougher in here; worth a shot. (6) HURRIKANE GEORGIE was the ultimate barn-change bonanza last week when he improved about 100 lengths, but was claimed back by the prior connections. The gelding seems to have awakened and maybe he can carry that over to tonight. (5) TWO FACED drops into claimers for the Harris barn and gets Bartlett back in the bike.
Race 8: Open Handicap Pace
(3) ROCKNROLL RUNA A has come up big in practically every local start and him winning the 3 thru 6 draw logically makes him the one to beat tonight. Kakaley can go on or off the pace. (5) MOONSHINE KISSES bounced back with a better effort last week and his speed always makes him a player; Siegelman gets the drive with Brennan on #1. (4) FUNATTHEBEACH N is back at Yonkers after a tour of Canada and he's classy enough to get right back in the swing of things.

Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) FAMILY RECIPE got going too late last week and now he drops to face softer; I would be shocked if Holland isn't firing off the gate. (4) YOROKOBI N just missed in last after returning from a sick scratch; Pete Tritton import does bump back up a notch in class and should be good to go from this spot. (1) KOMODO BEACH was hammered to 3/5 last week at Philly despite missing a month and having an injured scratch, and he didn't fire. He had been competitive here at the age-restricted Open level in prior efforts.
Race 10: NW10881 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) WICHITA LINEMAN flew home off a contested pace to just miss against $50K claimers last week and now he's able to plunge back down in class; picks up Bartlett, as well. (7) AMERICAN CLASSIC jogged upon arrival from Pocono, could be ready for more. (2) SAUVIGNON BLUECHIP lands back inside and he's been on an extended form spree; Brennan is back driving.
