Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) CONBOYVILLE has just one win on the season but he's always competitive when drawn well and this is the softest spot he's seen in some time. (4) BARON MICHAEL also faces lesser than he's been accustomed to recently and he gets away from the eight hole with Bartlett on the return drive. (3) PICARD A hasn't been finishing his miles recently which is obviously a concern.

Race 2: $50,000 Claiming Pace

(5) AMERICAN BOY N woke up with last week's class drop and was a good second after an uncovered trip. He's in a similar spot tonight and can get the job done with a smooth journey. (1) BEACH BOOGIE steps up for the third consecutive start but he's been very game in defeat in his last couple and he draws well again. (3) MARINER SEELSTER is having a rock-solid campaign and the 13-year-old always gives a good accounting of himself; he's probably best a level down but he'll carve out a share here.

Race 3: $50,000 Claiming Trot

(4) FOR A DREAMER controlled similar last week when returning to claimers and the Alexander trainee can repeat with a similar effort. (2) HOBBS has been solid since moving to the Cory Stratton barn and while he takes an ambitious step up in class he meets no standouts and he can be there with a good drive by Jordan. (7) STEUBEN HANOVER was second best in his last two at this level and he'll offer some value starting from the poor post.

Race 4: $75,000 Claiming Pace

(2) OZONE BLUE CHIP has been a terror in his last two, including his latest where he peeled off to an open-lengths score after rating the early pace; Buter gets the call tonight and he deserves top billing from this inside post. (3) MOTIVE HANOVER had some road trouble in his last couple but had reeled off two in a row at this level the starts prior. (5) BENJI'S BEST has been razor-sharp and almost took his fifth straight last out despite a poor start as he's been climbing the claiming ladder. He has missed three weeks, however.

Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) OUR CORELLI N has been a close second in his last three starts and while he does step up in class he meets no standouts; Stratton's back driving. (6) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR has plenty of talent and he finds a more suitable level tonight; this barn had a winner here the other night. (1) WATERWAY lands back inside and this barn has been decent recently.

Race 6: $75,000 Claiming Trot

(3) HAMMER TIME is three for three since the Burke purchase including a life mark two back; he may be sharp enough to take another facing better. (4) SKY CASTLES took all the money last week and just missed despite going a long trip; he's the one to beat. (2) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN goes for Devita now off the claim and the veteran has always had solid early speed.

Race 7: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) NONE BETTOR A had about a dozen strikes against him last week, namely the hike in class back to the Open level, the outside post, the paceless race and the owner driving himself. Bartlett's back in the bike and the veteran should be firing from the gate. (3) WESTERN JOE was second best (to #7) in his local return but it was still a good effort from the classy veteran; he should be heard from at some point. (2) ULTIMAROCA ships in for Burke and was a winner two back at Philly in a life-best 1:49 2/5. A comparable effort here makes him dangerous.

Race 8: $100,000 Claiming Pace

(4) BARBADOS has been streaking since being claimed for $50K by the Bako barn and in his debut at this top claiming level he missed a neck in a big try. Gelding deserves the call in this competitive affair. (2) AIR FORCE HANOVER also raced well coming out of the same race as the top choice and Stratton sticks with the Gillis trainee. (8) JOESSTAR OF MIA A is proven with these but needs some help overcoming the worst post.

Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) WALKINSHAW N gets needed class and post relief, and the Lance Hudson trainee was a winner when last at this level. (1) GARDYS LEGACY A gave a good accounting of himself upon arrival from Hawthorne then was lost at the back of the pack last week when in deep facing $100K claimers. He should be aggressively handled tonight. (5) SAUVIGNON BLUECHIP gets tested for class tonight but has taken five of his last six.

Race 10: $50,000 Claiming Trot

(2) EMOTIONS RICHES set a lifetime mark four back in his first start for the Alexander barn then found himself in tough spots when facing better. He's back down in class tonight and should respond. (3) BLUEBIRD JESSE was a decent second last week in his debut at this level; Bartlett drives again. (6) ALL CHAMPY found his stride in his last couple facing lesser and perhaps he has some newfound confidence which will enable him to land a share.

Race 11: $50,000 Claiming Pace

(2) BALLARAT BOOMERANG held off harsh late pressure last out and finished off a wire-to-wire score. Dowse trainee will be favored again to repeat with Bartlett at the controls. (7) ELWELL just keeps chugging along and making money; veteran has the early speed to get into play. (6) FAST N FIRST appeared well-meant last week making his second start in a year but ran into a tough winner. He bumps back up in class a notch but could rally late at a price.
