2026 MEET STATS: 195 - 594 / $1,075.16 (-$112.84)
BEST BETS: 35 - 64 / $117.92 (-$10.08)
BEST BET: MIND HUNTER (2nd)
SPOT PLAY: JOEMIKIYOURSOFINE (7th)
Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) ROLLING WITH SAM is just 1 for 21 on the season but he drops from $30K claimers into a softer conditioned spot and picks up an aggressive catch driver in Bongiorno. (6) DANCE PARTNER steps up a level off a sharp 1:52 4/5 win and can definitely build off that effort. (1) NANDOLO N lands a much more favorable spot tonight and it would be no surprise if the 12YO millionaire stepped up and won this.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MIND HUNTER was collared late in the mile last out after setting a solid clip and this veteran is clearly knocking on the door; top billing with the good inside draw. (4) QUOTE ME NOT N gets post relief after rallying for a small piece in his last race; 4YO isn't a prolific winner but this isn't a tough field. (1) MISSED THE TRUTH A gets some needed class relief and figures to be more involved tonight.
Race 3: NW32491 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) STERLING CHOICE was a winner at this level three back and moves in to find a much more favorable spot tonight. (1) JUMPINGJACKMAC N finished with plenty of pace to be third best last week when bumped back up to NW30000. It may be a reach to see him win in this class but he should be right there to pick up a nice share. (4) KWICK SAND A has been no worse than third in his last eight starts but amazingly this is the outermost post he's had in all of those races.
Race 4: Invitational Pace
(2) MOSSDALE BEN N was one of many transportation scratches last week so he missed the opportunity to make amends for that passive race the start prior. He's got the post edge now and has zero excuses. (3) SOHO FIRESTONE A has finished close to Sweet Beach Life in recent efforts and doesn't have to deal with that one tonight; he's remained good since the recent addition of Lasix. (4) CHASE H HANOVER bumps to the top level and does have a ton of speed; he's classy and not impossible here.
Race 5: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BACKSTREET SHADOW gets needed class relief and should be able to assert his dominance versus this group. (2) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A does have the post edge as he steps up looking for three straight. (5) MATAI PHIL N has been good all year and is a closing threat.
Race 6: 3-6YO Open Pace
(3) GO GO GRASSHOPPER almost wired these three back and seems to be back in a spot where Bongiorno can head to the front again. (4) HOWLENTHEHILLS is 1 for 13 on the season but has raced well and is certainly overdue. (6) GORGEOUS BIG BUY was a winner three back then finished close in his last two when facing some really sharp rivals. Worst post in this open draw may be his undoing.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) JOEMIKIYOURSOFINE drops in class, doesn't face any standouts and has a shot here to come from off the pace and steamroll some (or all) of these late at a price. (2) SUNSHINE BOY gets a class test upon arrival from Pocono but he's been good since arriving into the Daguet barn from his Western Canada base. (7) VICIOUS faces easier but is stuck outside. Veteran has some speed and this could be a good time to try flaunting it.
Race 8: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(3) SIMPLY FAST was claimed for $25K two months ago and has hit the board all five times for his new connections with a couple of wins, and has worked his way up to $40K claimers. This barn has done well here recently with claims and he's a smooth trip away from winning again. (4) CURLY JAMES A is another sharp one climbing the claiming ranks and he goes for six straight overall. (1) ALTA CLASSIC A was game in defeat last week and he draws well again.

Race 9: NW11501 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) HEMSWORTH N has loads of back class and finally a good inside post to work with; Bako trainee looms the one to beat. (6) FEDERER added Lasix last week and dominated a softer field as the heavy chalk. Joe B. returns to the bike from a tougher spot. (4) JUSTCALLMEBUCK raced pretty well in his first start for new connections and he's a longshot to consider.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
In a field where it's hard to get excited about anyone (3) WARRAWEE XTREME was a big upset winner last week in a $15K claimer at Philly and has looked much better for these current connections; Kelly with the catch drive. (1) KARLOO BRADLEY N hasn't done much since the Stratton claim but he drops and draws the pole. (6) DISMAS drops back to the level of his win two starts ago and Marohn is back driving the DiDomenico trainee.
