Race 1: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(7) POINTOMYGRANSON gave it a try last week at the opt. $75K claiming level but faltered badly late. He's back to the level where he jogged two back, his first race for this barn. (3) KING JAMES EXPRESS has been on a roll for multiple trainers since returning to Yonkers and last week's win proved that the move from age-restricted to open company wouldn't be a problem. (2) SAILBOAT HANOVER is probably better-suited to be a level or two down but he's certainly capable of landing a big piece.

Race 2: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) CAPTIVATE HANOVER has been no better than third in his last four starts but that may be more the case of circumstance and not tailing off. Garcia-Herrera trainee lands the rail and figures to be looking at a very favorable trip. (4) SAVE ME A DANCE has plenty of back class and he's working his way up the ladder, perhaps back to the Open level. Bartlett drives again for Engblom. (6) EL LE TISSIER N needs a lot of help from this outside post but the recent import seems to have the ability.

Race 3: 3-5YO $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) SILENT SPLENDOR has faltered late the last three times he was cutting the mile but he does have a recent pocket-sitting win; gelding may look to be off the pace tonight at a price. (1) STRIKING IMPACT is back in with claimers and the inside post should help his cause. (4) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER has been on a major roll since changing barns a couple of months ago; current connections are doing well also.
Race 4: NW30101 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SEMI TOUGH drops from the Open and finds one of those spots where he can be aggressively handled and look to control the action. (5) ALLUNEEDISFAITH N raced well but saw his streak snapped when hiked to this level; expect early speed to be in play (3) SHAKE IT has been a solid earner for Engblom since arriving locally and he'll also be forwardly placed.
Race 5: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(4) WAR DAN DELIGHT N hasn't been a major player lately competing in an odd-distance series but he's back in for a tag and was a big upset winner when last at this level. Dube may be able to strike from just off the pace. (1) BRACKLEY BEACH was bet to 6/5 off the Berkeley claim but came up just short. He's 0 for 18 and counting. (2) ALOTBETTOR N get the better of #1 last week; obvious candidate to repeat.
Race 6: NW16271 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) OZONE BLUE CHIP was a strong winner last out and will offer some value on top as #2 figures to be bet heavily again. (2) FUNATTHEBEACH N has lost his last seven but this is obviously the best spot he's seen. (3) KINGSVILLE has hit the board in his last four tries at this level.
Race 7: Open Pace
(2) AMERICAN DEALER N finds himself in the softer of the two Opens on tonight's card and he lands inside in this Open draw. Toscano trainee deserves top billing. (4) NONE BETTOR A hasn't been at his best recently but his early speed always makes him dangerous. (3) DEAN B HANOVER returns to Yonkers razor-sharp going for four straight.
Race 8: Open Handicap Pace
(4) IDEALSOMEMAGIC A had taken two straight in very sharp fashion before getting hung to dry in his last start. He gets important post relief, was Brennan's choice over #5 who he regularly drives, and is listed at a generous 10/1. (3) HELLABALOU is back in top form and the Borgata winner lands a great spot here. (8) COVERED BRIDGE is assigned the eight hole as he goes for three straight. Can he get involved?
Race 9: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR has worked his way up the class ladder since shipping back and joining the Bako barn. Veteran is priced at $40K and I think he fits here. (1) TOWNLINE ALL GOOD will appreciate the post relief in his second start for these connections. (3) DIVISION BELL was in deep last week but still rallied to pick up a piece. He drops a bit and will be close enough if good enough.

Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
Hard to look past (1) DEEP INFATUATION N, who went wire to wire in his first U.S. start for Bako and now lands the rail while not facing that much tougher. Take the 5/2 morning line, flip it around to 2/5 and use that as your starting point. At least he is the favorite... (2) MAJORLY SEXY A lacks the experience of others but Bartlett hops aboard the Shane Tritton trainee so stand up and take notice. (6) FAMILY RECIPE finished well in his last two. Does Holland take a shot firing off the gate?
Race 11: NW10041 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) GENIUS MAN hasn't been firing his best shots recently but the Bucci trainee has loads of class and meets a pretty soft field tonight. He may be sent to the front by Brennan from this spot. (2) JAY BRACKEN A gets good post relief in his local return and these connections have to be respected. (5) MAXIMUS RED A hasn't been a major factor recently but he's paced in :53 and change, :52 and change and 1:51 4/5 in his last three.
Race 12: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) PRESTIGE SEELSTER is fresh stock arriving from Hoosier Park and into a high-percentage outfit; expect an aggressive try with Gingras from the rail. Only thing that worries me is he's a bit lacking in the class department and he's only averaged a little over $1,000 per start throughout his career. (4) ROLLING WITH SAM has paced in the 1:53 range in his last two at Monticello and was facing better when we last saw him. (7) BRAEVIEW BONDI A woke up at Philly in his last two but he's in a tough outside post. Small share?
