Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) EVER HOPING A bumps up in class after a dominating win last week at the $30K claiming level and this is a pretty soft field for the $40K level; Bartlett drives again. (3) ROCKIN JUKEBOX was a trip-sitting winner last start and he draws another decent post looking to repeat. (6) AMERITRIC dropped in for a tag last week and was claimed by the Daguet barn; he raced well to be second in that race and is in solid form overall.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) TOPVILLE SOMBEACH set a life mark last week in his first start for the Bako barn and was quickly reclaimed by Laterza, and he was a winner for those connections as well. He figures to be controlling his own destiny from the rail. (4) IMAGINARY LINE was perhaps ambitiously placed in $40K claimers upon arrival from Maryland and he gave it an aggressive try before tiring. Oakes trainee drops to a more suitable level and picks up Bartlett. (2) PAXAMILLION moves in from the eight hole in his third start for the Bongiorno barn.
Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) DELE ROW A has been driven more aggressively in his last couple of races and it's resulted in a win and a close third. He steps up in class another notch but Holland gives a vote of confidence by staying on to drive. (2) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A has raced well enough to win in his last couple but came up second best; he's overdue. (1) SPEAKER OF PEACE figures to be more of a player tonight with his rail draw; Kelly drives as Holland vacates for #5.
Race 4: Invitational Pace
(6) COACHES CORNER was last seen at Yonkers when he was the favorite in the Borgata final and finished third. Since then he's put in his usual honest efforts against stakes company and now he returns to face the softest field he's seen in ages. He should win this despite his outside post assignment. (3) YOUNG BLUEY A makes his way back to the top level with a series of solid tries in defeat. Kakaley gets the drive and he may be the first one to the lead. (5) VERDUN never puts in a bad race so it's hard to ever toss him completely; I'll figure he'll be coming late and will use him underneath.
Race 5: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(5) CYRUS N is 0 for 13 and counting this year but the Pete Tritton trainee is competitive at this $15K claiming level and finds a pretty soft rendition here. Veteran gets post improvement after his 4th place effort last out. (2) GOTHIC ROCK has speed, a good draw and Bartlett. (7) DELIGHTFUL TERROR was a good second in his last two and maybe can sneak onto the ticket at a big price.
Race 6: NW16291 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) TUALOU N is a familiar sight...a fresh Down-Under import, this one for the Stratton barn, and he makes his debut from a live post off a two-move winning qualifier. (3) HANDSOME STRANGER could not sustain his move last week in his return from Kentucky; Engblom trainee does draw better. (4) HIMSELF N put it all together in his fourth start off the Adamczyk claim and was a powerful winner; note he's off almost a month...why?
Race 7: NW10481 in last 5 starts Pace
It's deja vu all over again with (5) LITTLE LOUIE A. Fresh import for the Joe Bongiorno barn qualified in 1:52 1/5 at Philly and is expected to be ready for action. (1) PAPI'S ROCKET is logical stock from Burke moving to the rail from two consecutive eight holes. 4YO picked up checks in both of those races. (4) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N bounced back with a better effort last week and he drops in class.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) RAILROAD STATION put in an excellent winning effort in his local return and the Burke 4YO should be able to handle the bump in class. (4) RESILIENT N was nailed on the wire at odds-on last out; is the third start in North America the charm? (1) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK recently went over the million mark in career earnings and he's another in a long line of Schnittker trainees who have raced a long time and made a lot of money. From the rail draw he can pick up a piece.

Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) CHASE H HANOVER clearly has the speed to overcome the outside draw and that dangerous weapon always gives this veteran a chance. He is stepping up off a loss but it was a good effort. (1) STERLING CHOICE is very logical here as he drops from the top level, draws inside and keeps Bartlett. Logical means short price, however. (4) BACKSTREET SHADOW is now 11 years old but is still competitive at these upper levels, as the $75K earned this year will attest to. This may be a better spot for Kakaley to try pushing off the gate.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) FULL SUPPORT has just one win in 20 starts this year but it came three back at this level and overall he's been a consistent check-getter. Legit chance in this shaky field. (4) BLOCKBUSTER TRADE never got close last week from the seven hole but he finished well in his prior two starts. (1) TWO FACED hails from top connections but he just hasn't been very good, and he's a massive underlay on the morning line.
