Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) AMERITRIC had a good run in lower conditioned races and now steps back into $40K claimers. I'm thinking he can lay just off the speed which hasn't been the most reliable of late. (1) ROCKIN JUKEBOX moves from the seven hole to the rail off a perfectly good effort first time off the Adamczyk claim. (3) LYRICAL GENIUS A is always close but hasn't been able to get over the top recently; good connections in play here always make him a threat.

Race 2: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(8) PAXAMILLION lands a brutal post in his second start for the Bongiorno barn but he was an impressive winner last week at Philly in his debut for these connections and he's going to offer a big price. (4) LYONS BENJAMIN was claimed again out of his last start, this time for DiDomenico. This gelding was very live in this barn last summer. (5) CAPTAIN AWESOME was dead-game in defeat first time for these connections; steps up from NW5000 but could prove to be a fit.
Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
Fresh Down-Under alert: (2) FORCE FULL A makes his debut off a winning 1:54 qualifier and draws well ready for action. (4) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A woke up and raced well when dropped to this level; Bartlett drives again and he's very dangerous. (6) SON OF THE SHARK A broke in his North American debut but the Bongiorno trainee raced well after coming from off the pace at Philly and this recent import needs to be considered.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) STAR CASINO N was never a factor in his debut for the Bako barn after arriving from Australia but he was stuck in last in that Pocono race that ended up going in 1:48 4/5, and he finished in :27. Another import worthy of a long look. (2) TH COLBY has hit the board in all four Yonkers tries for the Burke barn but can't get over the hump; figures to be right there again. (6) HANDSOME STRANGER is back from Oak Grove, where the Engblom trainee won a couple of overnights. 4YO gets Bartlett back in the bike.
Race 5: NW16136 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) DONEGAL LUTHER N has tailed off since his Borgata efforts earlier in the year that saw him as a factor on paper in the final. Significant post relief may help him wake up. (6) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N stopped last start but drops and is back with Holland. (4) WISH YOU WELL arrives for the Toscano barn, picks up Bartlett and was a back-to-back :49 winner last month at Philly.
Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BONDI LOCKDOWN A raced well last week at the NW30000 level to be third best and overall he's been good for an extended period of time without a win to show for it. Lambert trainee gets a new driver as Stratton gets the call and he'll be an honest price. (2) PARIS'S DRAGON looks for three straight and was eligible at time of entry so he doesn't have to move up. (7) CHASE H HANOVER was tons the best last week in his second start for the Bongiorno barn; would absolutely be the top choice if not for the post.
Race 7: NW33876 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) MAC'S DELIGHT is now two for two for his new connections and the Engblom trainee looks for a third straight down-the-road score with co-owner Gingras back in the bike. (5) YOUNG BLUEY A returns to Bartlett, does have the necessary speed to get into play. (3) AMERICAN DEALER N faces better off a nice win, which was three weeks ago, however. 9YO looks for his 40th lifetime score.
Race 8: 3-6YO Open Pace
(3) VERDUN was barely outfinished in last week's sprint to the wire where he was home in :27 flat. Lachance trainee is always a major player when drawn on the inner half of the gate (2) CAPTAIN MOORE A beat many of these in that Open last week after pulling pocket and prevailing. Blackler trainee draws a similar spot. (5) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR was respectable in the Haughton at The Meadowlands after missing a month with a sick scratch. NY-bred gelding is loaded with class.

Race 9: Invitational Pace
(5) EVILEYE FLEEGLE is now three for three since moving to the Burke Brigade, and he's done it on the front end, uncovered and flying from seemingly too far back. Could he be good enough to win again stepping up to the Invite? Why not. (7) SWEET BEACH LIFE is so sharp it's scary, but will he be able to make the front again from his outside assignment? (6) MOSSDALE BEN N just missed to #7 last week after speeding out then yielding for the pocket. He too can win in a variety of ways.
Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) LETSMAKELOTSAMONEY finished with some pace to pick off a few coming from last in his latest start and he's raced well when drawn well; top call in dreary finale. (4) GOTHIC ROCK is back to Bartlett and that makes him an automatic contender. (1) DELIGHTFUL TERROR woke up with late pace at a big price in last and perhaps he can build off that effort.
