Race 1: 3-6YO $50,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace
(1) MY ULTIMATE BYRON A was a close second to #6 in here two back and last week he rallied for a piece when too far back. With the move inside this gelding can score. (3) GDS THUNDER GB has early speed and figures to be close up; consistent sort can be there at a price. (6) POUND FOR POUND has been awesome over the last month and a half and he's got the speed to overcome his handicapped outside post for his new connections. We'll see how hard he needs to be used to make the front.

Race 2: 3-5YO Open Pace
(4) DUNKIN' has been some story as he may be even better now than he was during his 21-win 3YO season. He can score from on or off the pace. (2) ITS A ME MARIO was 25 cents on the dollar in the race that Dunkin' won and he was outfinished; Wouldn't surprise me to see Bartlett put his foot down and insist on the front. (3) NIGHT HAWK only needs to beat two horses to finish third.

Race 3: Invitational Pace
(2) NONE BETTOR A didn't take long to hit top gear and the ageless 11YO returns to Yonkers off his 1:49 3/5 win and lands the best post of the main contenders. (3) BIG GULP hiked to the top level last week and gave a good accounting of himself; he's been insanely sharp since arriving from Ohio. (6) ENERGETIC HANOVER has been first or second in all five starts since shipping in for Alagna/Sam Bowie but can he overcome his assigned outside post? It will be tough, especially if #5 leaves in front of him.
Race 4: 3-5YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) LAZ has won two straight since being claimed by Laterza and he stays at a winning level while drawing the rail. Clearly the one to beat. (4) HUMAN COCKTAIL has good speed but staying power is the problem; last week was a decent try. (3) CENTURY IGLESIAS has picked up small shares in three of four since bumping to this level and from this decent post he can hit the ticket.
Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) BENHOPE RULZ N drops back down a level and seems to have found a spot where he can utilize his gate speed; top call. (8) ANOTHRMASTRPIECE N has hung in with better lately and was a winner when last in NW15000; expect Bartlett to be blasting. (2) SAMHARA N closed well last week to be second, home in :27 1/5.
Race 6: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) FULSOME returns from The Meadowlands where he raced well last start and was facing much better when last at Yonkers. Bongiorno picks up the drive with a post edge on his main rivals. (4) KIMBLE A was a winner from a similar spot the last time he was in this cheap. (5) KARLOO BRADLEY N drops for the fourth consecutive start and he perked up with a more aggressive effort last week; Bartlett drives.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
Good field here for this level. (4) ROCKIN JUKEBOX finished willingly last week after tiring badly the week before; Bongiorno trainee was a well-driven winner three back from a similar spot and there may be live cover to be had. (6) CAPTIVATE HANOVER has been in tough recently but for the most part he's held his ground. Garcia-Herrera trainee gets a new set of hands in Kakaley. (2) FUNATTHEBEACH N rolled by on last week's dropdown; he was odds-on then and may be again tonight.

Race 8: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) ALOTBETTOR N is two for two since rejoining the Matias Ruiz barn via $15K claim. Veteran bumps up to the $30's but is sharp and has controlling speed from the rail. (2) MAJOR DESIRE had no chance from the eight hole when up in class last out but check out his prior four starts to see what he's capable of; Bartlett drives. (4) DANCE ON THE BEACH wired the field from the four hole last week and is 5 for 12 already on the season. Obvious contender.
Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) ALL ALONE takes a significant drop in class and he's not too far removed from a win against better. Engblom trainee can wrap up the double, pick 3, pick 4 and pick 5 on a chalky note. (1) PETER PETRIFY N was stuck in the eight hole upon arrival; drops and moves all the way inside. (2) MY CARBON COPY N has been a model of consistency for the Lachance barn; he can save ground from this inside post and land a share.
