Best Bet: STONEBRIDGE GAMBLE (2nd)
Spot Play: MOTIVE HANOVER (10th)
Race 1: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A has been in good form of late and his trainer Garcia-Herrera, after a slow start, is creeping up to the 10% strike rate. Veteran has been at this a long time and this class is right in his wheelhouse. (3) MIKE'S Z TAM doesn't win often but always gives an honest effort and the improved post gives the Lachance trainee a legit chance. (4) IDEAL ARTILLERY just missed in his last two versus lesser and he can pick up a nice share here with a smooth trip.

Race 2: $75,000 Claiming Trot
(3) STONEBRIDGE GAMBLE hasn't put in a bad effort since arriving from Ohio and he fits these claiming classes perfectly. Tough to go against as he looks for four straight. (6) SEVENTIER gets the catch-driving Bartlett tonight which may signal a more aggressive try is coming tonight from this Smedshammer trainee. (1) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN has been no match for the top one recently but he figures on another live trip from this spot.

Race 3: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(6) KINNDER JACKSON goes to yet another new barn off the claim and he's arguably the only "true $50" in here as most of these haven't had much success at this level. Veteran can do it from on or off the pace. (3) BARBADOS broke last week for his low-profile connections but was claimed again and Bartlett drives again. (4) EL JACKO N has been decent in his last few and should offer good value.
Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) IDEAL LINER N was a good third last week to a couple of tough ones and now he gets Bartlett in the bike from a good starting post. Dilloian import will look to break a long winless spell. (4) MULLINAX was second best two back pacing his mile in 1:51 3/5. A similar effort will make him tough. (1) EHRMANTRAUT drops back to the level of his last win and he figures to be aggressively handled by Dube from this inside post.
Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) ALEX TYE never got involved last week but he drops in class and is reunited with Stratton, who has won with this gelding three times already this year. (4) WALKINSHAW N is the other class dropper in here and probable favorite. (2) RHODENA ROAD tripped out to upset last week at 47/1 and could be a good price again despite another favorable starting spot.
Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ESCAPETOTHEBEACH takes a needed drop in class to a more competitive level and was a winner when last in with similar. He does have some early speed and from this post driver Holland has some options. (5) ROCKAPELO had some late pace last week from the eight hole at 70/1; this is obviously a better spot. (7) ST LADS BEAT IT has been solid for the Andrew Harris barn since arriving from Canada a few months back. Tough spot here but he should be a big price with Stratton driving.
Race 7: $75,000 Claiming Pace
(3) KEYSTONE PHOENIX cruised last week and is clearly back in top form; Dowse trainee can take another. (1) HEISMAN PLAYER offered little advance into the top one in last week's race but may be able to sit a trip tonight with outside speed discouraged to leave. (2) BECKHAM'S Z TAM has proven in two starts for these connections that he belongs with this type.
Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SAULSBROOK HERO has become a killer over his last five starts as he moves up the class ladder and he seems capable of taking another, especially with the favorable draw. (2) MYSWEETBOYMAX switched back to Bartlett last week and showed good improvement finishing second to Chase H Hanover. (3) BELTANE A drops from $75K claimers and he had a win and a second last month in similar conditioned events.
Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) OAKWOODNITOWINIT IR has done the best he could do with poor post positions in his three races since arriving and two back he just missed pulling off the upset. Camilleri trainee should be much more involved tonight and be freshest late to nip a vulnerable favorite. (1) BEE TWO BEE sizzled then fizzled last week after going an insane clip. He does face softer but needs more late. (8) DEAN B HANOVER went a huge effort in defeat last out and he's "rewarded" with the eight hole. Big price looming if you stick with him.

Race 10: $75,000 Claiming Pace
(4) MOTIVE HANOVER stepped up to this level and went a busy and game mile in defeat. Bongiorno trainee is currently one of the sharpest in here and could offer a fair price in this competitive event. (1) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE drops in for a tag tonight and while he can be a touch inconsistent one of his better efforts is more than enough to beat these. (2) REAL PEACE sat a good trip to pull off the upset last week and he can be right there again with smooth sailing.
Race 11: $50,000 Claiming Trot
(2) LOOK IN MY EYES successfully wired the field last start and he lands in a good spot to try it again; Brennan picks up the drive on the improving Lorentzon trainee. (4) WILD AND CRAZY GUY was put on the front end last start and stopped badly. Dowse trainee drops back down to face significantly softer here and seems capable of rebounding. (3) ABSOLUT UNCERTENTY trotted evenly behind the top one last start to finish third, perhaps he could repeat that placing with a similar trip.
