Race 1: NW17281 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) ARDEN MESSI N put in a dull performance on the rim at odds-on when dropped in class which was disappointing considering he had been racing well against some solid stock. Harris trainee drops again and will offer a better price if he can turn things around. (4) HECANDANCENCRUISE took a ton of money when shipping in last week and delivered with a strong uncovered move. 4-year-old steps up in class looking to repeat. (5) FEARFUL INTENT could not handle a two-move effort upon arrival for the Cullipher barn. He may have a clear path to the lead tonight and could be trouble if left alone to rate.

Race 2: NW24451 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) PEACE OUT POSSE left hard last week and tucked third, saved ground from there and just had even pace coming home. Overall it was a decent effort and the Bongiorno barn has been going very well lately so he's worth a look here at what should be an honest price. (4) DEAN B HANOVER took a week off after six straight Borgata efforts and he drops to face softer; he doesn't have much of a win profile as he's just 2 for 34 over the last two seasons. Note he gets a barn change from Gillis to Cullipher (probably a lateral move). (2) BELTANE A has been much-improved recently as he's been climbing back up the conditioned ladder.

Race 3: NW10451 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER was a solid two-move winner in his second start out off the Bongiorno claim and we'll see if he's got what it takes to repeat facing much better. I'll stick with him assuming he'll offer some value. (5) BALLARAT BOOMERANG hasn't been bad recently for the DiDomenico barn and the class drop likely makes him the one to beat. (3) OUR CORELLI N also drops and gets some post improvement; Gingras picks up the drive.
Race 4: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR sat last in that five-horse field last week and charged home for second, proving that he doesn't need to be on the front in order to win. That may give Zeron more options from this midpack post. (2) QUALITY BUD finished with plenty of pace once shaking free in last week's Open and the veteran lands another decent starting spot; Holland's choice. (4) NONE BETTOR A is still winless on the year but he gets class relief dropping from the Borgata and he's got plenty of early speed.
Race 5: $40,000-$50,000 Claiming Handicap Pace - $10K Gtd. Pick 5 Pool
(6) WICHITA LINEMAN moved to a new barn last week off the claim but remained razor-sharp going down the road. He changes hands again and is entered for the same price, but may actually have an easier time of it with the $40K's inside of him. (1) GINGER TREE PETE was claimed again last start off a dead-game win and lands the rail first out for Bongiorno. (7) TOWNLINE ALL GOOD was at a severe tactical disadvantage in the same race that the top choice #6 cruised; he's stuck outside again but does get Gingras back in the bike and he's done well with this veteran.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) TWIN B HEARTTHROB returns from a stint at Philly and he had been racing reasonably well with similar when we last saw him at Yonkers; he lands the rail and picks up the leading driver. (3) ROLLING WITH SAM gets some needed class relief and Boyd figures to be much more involved with him tonight. (7) ALEX TYE steps up a notch and moves all the way outside but there doesn't seem to be much speed in here and Holland likes blasting from the gate.
Race 7: Open Handicap Pace; 1-7 assigned, 2-6 drawn
(2) SEMI TOUGH seems to be feeling good again and he charged home off cover last week with Brennan in the bike; he steps back up to the Open level but when going well he does fit with these. (7) COVERED BRIDGE was favored in the Borgata final and did finish third after a long uncovered trip. Stratton is back driving and he's got to navigate the worst post; not easy. (3) AMERICAN DEALER N flew up the rail to take the easier Borgata consolation despite being off three weeks. He's versatile and lands a decent post.

Race 8: Open Handicap Pace; 1-2 assigned, 3-8 drawn
(4) TAKE A GAMBLE has taken five straight since returning to Yonkers and he's won uncovered, in the pocket and on the lead. Versatile sort has a good post for Zeron to consider any trip. (3) MOONSHINE KISSES has been great this year with six wins already and Brennan figures to be taking command early. (5) FUNATTHEBEACH N came up a bit disappointing in the Borgata final - it was a tough spot but he didn't go forward. He took last week off and is back in the overnight wars for now. Obviously he can take all.
Race 9: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(5) WAR DAN DELIGHT N is a stretch here as he's not proven with this type but his one recent start for Garcia-Herrera he charged home from last and came close to winning it all, and the owner/trainer paid a premium to claim him back. Worth considering if north of his 15/1 on the morning line. (1) PEDRO HANOVER is the one to beat again but he's come up a bit short in his last three; vulnerable? (3) JOJO'S PLACE was rebuffed after dueling with the leader last week and now the Berkeley trainee drops from $40's to $30's; big chance.
