2026 MEET STATS: 122 - 356 / $688.79 (-$23.21) BEST BETS: 23 - 36 / $74.26 (+$2.26) BEST BET: LYRICAL GENIUS A (2nd) SPOT PLAY: CATALPA RESCUE A (8th) Race 1: $50,000 Claiming Pace (3) ODDS ON CAPITALISM was nailed in the final strides last week (by #1 in here) in his first start for the Adamczyk via claim and he's quickly proven he belongs at this level; Bongiorno gets the call tonight with a chance to make amends. (4) BET ON BIG JOE comes out of the same race as the aforementioned pacers and he had traffic as the favorite. He was in the pocket that race but may be coming from third or fourth tonight. (1) THEFLYINGROCK triple-jumped in class after scoring at the $25K claiming level and now he's a winner in for $50K. Brennan gets the catch drive and he's got the option to control things. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace (2) LYRICAL GENIUS A was overlooked last start as he went off 14/1 but no worries as Bartlett took him down the road. Connections leave him right in where he belongs looking to double up. (4) ORLANDO BLUE A goes for another new barn tonight via claim and based on that break last week at odds-on he'll probably offer a solid price now. Prior form was sharp. (7) HAMMERING HANK draws a poor post and two back he was unable to get involved from a similar starting spot but he fits with these and will be a price. Race 3: $30,000 Claiming Pace (6) ACAPULCO SUNBURN may be a little stretch class-wise but he's had a big form reversal since moving to the Bongiorno barn two starts back and I'll give the sharp shipper a try. (5) EVER HOPING A returns locally off a couple of much-improved tries at Pocono but he's 0 for the last couple of years at Yonkers so he's more the "underneath" type. (2) BOILING OAR takes a needed drop from the $40's to the $30's and he's got some speed with an inside draw. Race 4: NW7791 in last 5 starts Pace (3) SKYLOU N is the rare Down-Under shipper who has not made much of an impact but he lands in a much softer spot here and picks up Bartlett. (5) YOROKOBI N is not the winning type but he's always a check-earner who should appreciate the class relief. (7) JAHAN HANOVER was favored in his last three races when down at this lower level and now he'll be a big price. This gelding does have some early speed. Race 5: NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace (1) CAPTAIN MOORE A took a week off after competing in every Borgata prelim and the consolation; Blackler trainee drops significantly, draws the rail and adds Bartlett. (2) BONDI LOCKDOWN A is a classy veteran who generally races as well as he draws, so from the inside he figures to finish close. (4) IMA PERFECT CHOICE was also in the Borgata then went nowhere last week from the eight hole. Alexander trainee can pick up a share. Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) SPEAKER OF PEACE woke up in a big way when he dropped down in class and he almost wired the field from the eight hole. Gelding steps up to face somewhat better but does move inside and Holland can be aggressive again. (4) HEMSWORTH N has been competitive in his last few and he's one of the classier veterans in here. (1) ROCKIN JUKEBOX draws his first inside post in over two months and it's interesting to see how aggressive Joe Bongiorno is. Race 7: NW23931 in last 5 starts Pace Is (1) CAPTINHAMMERHEAD A ready to be thrown into the fire off just two very good qualifiers? We have seen how good most of these Down-Under shippers have been over the last year or so, this barn included. Zeron catch drives. (3) MATAI PHIL N has not put in a bad effort in ages and from this spot he figures to be right there again. (8) IKNOWBETTER is razor-sharp for Joe B. yet may be completely ignored in the wagering because of post eight. He has left from the outside in the past. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW33871 in last 5 starts Pace (7) CATALPA RESCUE A had a rough go of it in the Borgata series but since moving back to overnights and adding Bartlett this gelding from the Blackler barn has wired the field twice. If he can make the front without too much trouble he can pick up the hat trick. (1) COPPERFIELD has been first or second in five of seven races this year for the Engblom barn and should be very live from the rail. (6) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N finished third in the Borgata consolation when he added Lasix and he's exiting a 1:50 mile from last week's Invite. Race 9: $15,000 Claiming Pace This field is a combined 3 for 87 in 2026. (1) SQUADRON SEELSTER was an easy winner versus a soft field two back at Philly then didn't get involved from the eight hole. Holland picks up the drive and from the rail he may try to wire these. (3) DELIGHTFUL TERROR finished second in his last two as he inches towards half a million lifetime. (6) GOTHIC ROCK has Bartlett again and may be a leaver from the outside.
