Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) IGNATIUS A was second best last week in his local return after sitting the pocket trip. Daley-trained import seems to face a softer field here and with the post edge on some of his main rivals the catch-driving Lachance should again get aggressive. (3) STRIKING IMPACT had little to offer when bet to even money in his debut off the Bako claim but he plunges out of the restricted $50K level to this easier spot. (4) MAJOR DESIRE should be able to land a share with a smooth trip.

Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(2) POINTOMYGRANSON returned locally last month to rejoin the DiDomenico barn and the classy veteran has been sharp in every race. He's up in class a level here looking for his third straight. (3) FLOW WITH JOE is back in for a tag and he does have a win at this $40K level this season. (1) PEDRO HANOVER has four straight runner-up finishes after winning three straight; someone finally dipped in to take him for $30K and he bumps back up to the $40's. Kakaley gets the drive for his new barn (Koch/Milici) and he's got controlling speed.

Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts; AE NW9 Races Pace
(4) SETH HANOVER has had three straight outside posts racing in the age-restricted Open so it's no surprise he failed to make an impact. Devita trainee was a winner when last at this NW15000 level. (6) KINGSVILLE also gets needed class relief coming out of the same races as the top choice and he had a series of nice efforts earlier this year. (5) MARLBANK ROAD has been a steady check-earner recently facing a notch better than these and he hit the board at a price when last at this level.
Race 4: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(3) CHANGE STRIDE N moves to the Engblom barn via $30K claim and Bartlett gets the call; 12YO is clearly eligible for some improvement and may respond to more aggressive handling. (4) CONBOYVILLE was second best in a good speed try first off the claim by DiDomenico. (2) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER rolled home off cover last week to beat many of these and he's in a similar spot here.
Race 5: NW15811 in last 5 starts Pace; AE NW9 Races Pace - $10K Gtd. Pick 5
(3) ROCKIN WITHELVIS A has rolled to two straight front-end scores at odds-on for the Bako barn and he gets a free ride here at the same level by being eligible at time of entry; short price again. (4) SECOND BRUISER was a winner in his first start down from Canada and perhaps he has more to offer facing better. (5) WALKINSHAW N was third best facing the top choice last week and he can land a share again with an alert drive.
Race 6: NW10151 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) WAR DAN DELIGHT N hasn't won yet this year and was just 2 for 37 in 2022 but he's shown some improved performances when in the Garcia-Herrera barn, and he lands in a pretty live spot here as he shifts from claimers to conditioned rivals. (3) ESCAPETOTHEBEACH steps back up a notch looking for two straight. (4) BETTOR SUN makes his third start since the move to the Engblom barn and he was a rallying third last week racing one level up.
Race 7: 3-5YO $50,000 Claiming Pace
(5) SHAKESPEARE launched impressively from off cover to win going away last week and he's dropped in to the same class tonight; Alexander trainee hasn't shown any early speed which could put him at a tactical disadvantage but he's still the one to defeat. (2) COALITION HANOVER has performed well for multiple barns and he goes for Laterza tonight looking to land a nice share. (6) COPPER TEEN needs to show more late but still must be respected from these connections.
Race 8: Open Handicap Pace; 1,2 Assigned, 3-6, 7-8 Drawn
(3) PRICELESS BEACH missed a nose to Covered Bridge two back then rallied well for third chasing a rated pace last week. With a post edge on his main rivals the Bako trainee looms the one to beat. (5) CAPTIVATE HANOVER has something to prove at this level but he's been so sharp since the Garcia-Herrera claim that he can be considered here at a decent price. (7) LEONIDAS A is due for some better racing luck, which may not come tonight from the seven hole, but at least the value will be there. Would be nice to see Siegelman take a flyer off the gate.

Race 9: NW20501 in last 5 starts Pace; AE NW10 Races Pace
(6) TOWNLINE ALL GOOD has raced well enough to win recently but he hasn't tasted victory in his last five races, though he remains sharp and figures to be forwardly placed as usual. Some value looming here with #1 taking the dough. (1) FEARFUL INTENT was second best cutting the mile from the seven hole last week; logical chalk moving all the way inside. (5) ODDS ON CAPITALISM drops again in his third seasonal start and the 4-year-old can show a bit of improvement.
Race 10: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace; AE NW12 Races, $75K Clm Pace
(4) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N did not disgrace himself at all throughout the Borgata series and now he's back at a reduced level after taking some time off. If ready to roll Bongiorno can shoot him off the gate and get the top or sit the pocket. (1) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR has been solid in all recent and looks like the deserving favorite from the rail. (5) EUPHORIA N is a perfect three-for-three since shipping in for Vallee but he faces tougher again; a small share may be all he's looking at tonight.
