2026 MEET STATS: 122 - 356 / $688.79 (-$23.21) BEST BETS: 23 - 36 / $74.26 (+$2.26) BEST BET: MANFERNO (2nd) SPOT PLAY: BONDI LOCKDOWN A (5th) Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace (4) SINBAD N has found a home at this $40K claiming level as he goes for this third consecutive win at this price point. Veteran has the tactical speed to overcome any post and this is a favorable spot to set sail for the front. (3) ORLANDO BLUE A debuts for the Dilloian Jr. barn after last week's claim, and he stays at the same level where he can do the most damage. Bartlett getting the call certainly doesn't hurt things. (2) MY ULTIMATE BYRON A raced well in the back half to make it close when second best to the top choice last week and he's in a similar spot tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace As noted in prior starts (1) MANFERNO has looked like a new horse since returning from Delaware and last week's win proves that he's a perfect fit in the class. Adamczyk trainee is in a great spot to control the action and repeat. (6) LYRICAL GENIUS A has worked his way up the class ladder and gotten comfortable at this $40k level. He's hit the board in six of seven and figures to be moving forward off the gate with the return of Bartlett in the bike. (2) HAMMERING HANK is back in for a tag and those were solid wins two and three back. Race 3: $50,000 Claiming Pace (1) BET ON BIG JOE raced willingly in his first off the Bako claim and now he moves in to the rail facing a shorter field; good spot to get off the seasonal schneid. (4) ODDS ON CAPITALISM debuts for the Adamczyk barn via claim and gets a new driver in Gingras. If he at least maintains his current form he'll be a player. (5) SHIPMASTER has finished third in his last three at this level, and last week was with Lasix added. Drawing outside most of his competition figures to hurt his chances. Race 4: $60,000/$75,000 Claiming Handicap Pace (4) LITTLE WILLY has turned out to be a great claim for the Bako barn, considering he was taken for $30K upon arrival from Saratoga back in February. Doesn't figure to have traffic issues in this bulky five-horse affair. (5) VICIOUS is the most accomplished of these through 2026 but it's been a while since we've seen early speed from this veteran so is he getting away last in here? (1) IKNOWBETTER has been very consistent for the Bongiorno barn. Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace *$10K Gtd. Pick 5* (4) BONDI LOCKDOWN A has put in a series of honest efforts over the last couple of months without a victory to show for it but maybe tonight with the relatively decent starting post and new driver in Gingras he can get over the hump. (7) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A raced in all five legs and the consolation of the Borgata and never made much of an impact as a double-digit longshot each time. Import took last week off and reenters the overnight wars at a comfortable level but he does draw poorly. Bartlett is back driving and I'm sure we'll see an aggressive try off the gate. (1) HEZA RISK TAKER A faces better despite not having a win this season but he just missed in two of his last three. Race 6: NW21501 in last 5 starts Pace (4) JABBAR shocked everyone two back with his wire-to-wire score in 1:51 3/5 at 50/1, then was stuck outside again facing better and didn't get involved. Gelding gets post relief in his return to the NW20000 level and maybe lightning can strike twice. (2) SOHO DOW JONES A has been solid recently which enabled this veteran to work his way back up the class ladder and he moves from the seven hole to post two. (1) BOSTON BOUND was won two straight and was claimed out of that last one. He is talented but certainly doesn't have to win here as one of the favorites. Race 7: Invitational Pace (5) LOU HILL already has five wins (and three seconds) this year through nine starts, eclipsing his three wins from all of 2025, and he returns from a tough beat in a G3 event at Miami Valley into what feels like a perfect spot for the Engblom trainee to assert himself. (4) SOHO FIRESTONE A was a longshot in the Borgata final but good enough throughout the series to actually make the race. Brennan has driven him before and he's back in the bike tonight. He can make the front, release the top choice and sit chilly in the pocket. (1) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N added Lasix for the Borgata consolation and finished third, can hit the board here as well. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: $15,000 Claiming Pace (3) SARANAC BLUE CHIP meets a very soft field, the type he can take down the road. (4) ALADDIN made some forward progress last week for the first time in a while and perhaps can build on that. (7) WHY TOMORROW RAY hasn't done a whole lot since being claimed for $20K by the Stratton barn but he drops in class tonight. Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (7) MUSIC HALL takes a significant drop in class plus gets a driver change to Bartlett; that can add up to success despite the post. (3) TASTE OF HONEY makes just his second start in over a year and is eligible to improve. The recent Pocono qualifier wasn't bad. (1) HUNTINGFORCHROME is still hunting for that form that made him over $445K lifetime; he was okay in those two starts coming off the layoff.
