2026 MEET STATS: 102 - 297 / $582.61 (-$11.39) BEST BETS: 19 - 30 / $61.04 (+$1.04) BEST BET: COACHES CORNER (6th) SPOT PLAY: MANFERNO (2nd) Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace (7) SINBAD N put it all together for a nice win in his return to Yonkers and he was able to get away from the gate from the outside. Connections drop him in for $40K and with a smooth getaway he can repeat. (1) LYRICAL GENIUS A was reclaimed by the Dilloian Jr. barn and steps up off a loss; needs to prove it at this level. (2) AMERITRIC has raced well in all recent without a win to show for it and he always offers a price. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $50,000 Claiming Pace Clearly (5) MANFERNO has been rejuvenated since returning to Yonkers and he'll look to avenge that nose defeat last out. (3) BRUTALLYHANDSOME A moves to the Dilloian Jr. barn after a long run in the Stratton barn and if he maintains his form he'll be right there. (6) KOPI LUWAK is sharpest of these now but must contend with the worst post and may be at the mercy of inside leavers. Race 3: MGM Borgata Pacing Series Leg #5 (1) MOSSDALE BEN N has added early speed to the arsenal after being strictly an off-the-pace threat since arriving in the U.S. for the Pete Tritton barn. Veteran import is now the complete package and can cruise his way into the final. (6) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR needs to fire off the gate for his best chance, something that is entirely possible with Bartlett. (4) CELTIC SPIRIT N has been a fringe player in the series but he's made money every leg. Race 4: $30,000 Claiming Pace (6) ALTA CLASSIC A went a long mile out of the eight hole in his first start after being reclaimed by the Laterza barn. Veteran gets moderate post relief but it may be enough where regular driver Holland can be much more involved. (2) EVER HOPING A finished okay in his last two after returning from Delaware for the DiDomenico barn and now he drops from $40's to $30's with a good post. (3) QUOTE ME NOT N steps up a notch off a loss and the Engblom trainee gets Bartlett in the bike again. Race 5: MGM Borgata Pacing Series Leg #5 (3) DONEGAL LUTHER N finished third last week in leg #4 after taking the prior week off; Bako import gets a new driver in Stratton with Gingras out of town and a good effort here would go a long way in prepping for a potential Borgata final appearance. (2) SOHO FIRESTONE A and (5) REDWOOD HANOVER are both pretty much locked up for the final and both are in good spots to come away with a nice piece here. Race 6: MGM Borgata Pacing Series Leg #5 (3) COACHES CORNER is currently on the outside looking in but I expect a big effort here, especially with the post and tactical edge on his main competition. Down the road. (1) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N just missed in leg #1 at a big price and has followed that up with some decent yet non-threatening efforts. Holland can work out a live stalking trip. (6) CAPTAIN ALBANO gets a new catch driver tonight as Stratton gets the call (with Todd McCarthy at Oak Grove) and he faces an uncertain trip from this spot. Race 7: NW11821 in last 5 starts Pace (7) COALFORD TOPGUY GB has won two straight at this level and he sneaks into this class again under the "NW6 lifetime" AE condition. Despite the poor draw I think the Engblom trainee gets the hat trick tonight. (5) ROCKSTAR ARTIST A hasn't done much since arriving from Australia but he drops for the fourth consecutive start, gets a new driver and could be more involved. (3) DIEGO N stayed flat in that qualifier with Marohn driving and he's in the bike again. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (5) SPIRIT OF STLOUIS N returns locally and gets Bartlett in the bike for the first time; Veteran import hasn't earned a ton since arriving stateside but he's a million-dollar earner and finds a live spot to show some of that back class. (4) HAMMERING HANK woke up last week with the drop to this level. (2) SAMHARA N drops from $40K claimers and was a winner when last at this NW7500 level. Race 9: $15,000 Claiming Pace (4) SURFSIDE BEACH has been tortured at the post draw in his six 2026 starts so tonight he finally lands a reasonable spot and figures to be more aggressively handled. (7) DEETZY was claimed two back in April of his 14YO season then stopped first out for new connections. He is right back in the box however and picks up Bartlett. (5) CHECKONWILLIAM GB was quickly reclaimed by Laterza and he's been good in his last three races.
