2026 MEET STATS: 30 - 100 / $149.26 (-$50.74) BEST BETS: 6 - 10 / $17.42 (-$2.58) BEST BET: WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH (8th) SPOT PLAY: GDS THUNDER GB (6th) Race 1: $30,000 Claiming Pace (2) SOUTHWIND PETYR is as consistent as they come at this level especially when he's got a good draw. New driver tonight with Gingras taking over. (1) ALTA CLASSIC A has speed and the rail draw. Strong chance Holland is cutting the mile with the veteran. (5) ITALIAN LAD N dropped from 40's to 30's last week despite racing well at the higher level and he threw in a break, then was claimed. Bongiorno barn has him now and I have mixed feelings. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW10471 in last 5 starts Pace (3) KWICK SAND A is a bit lacking in the class department but he's looked so good in his last two that I think the Stratton trainee is ready to handle better. (2) LITTLE WILLY flew home to just miss in his first off the Bako claim and now he gets major post relief. Big chance here but also likely overbet. (6) SAHMARA N is up in class looking for two straight for connections that have been live this year. Race 3: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace (5) LYONS BENJAMIN has been live in every start for an extended period of time and he's performed for multiple barns. He stays at the winning level off the Laterza reclaim and goes for three straight. (2) AMERITRIC was a serviceable second in his first start off the Chris Height claim and he draws well again. (1) PERFECT PROMISES won first out for these connections then was a non-factor in his last two; new driver tonight with Marohn and maybe that helps him turn things back around. Race 4: NW12851 in last 5 starts Pace (6) BONDI LOCKDOWN A was a winner three back when last at this NW10000 base level and he finished in :27 and change in his last two while in tough spots. Needs a trip but there's nobody in here who sticks out and he should be an honest price. (8) AMERICAN DEALER N was off a couple of weeks and resurfaces in the Burke barn after his entire North American career with Linda Toscano. Obviously this is a very tough spot but he's worth a peek with a new driver and all that back class. (1) BOSTON BOUND comes in from The Meadowlands off a couple of very tough trips but note he failed to hit the board in five Yonkers races last year. Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (5) ROLLING WITH SAM trailed throughout from the eight hole in last week's race but he had been solid in all prior starts and the Adamczyk trainee is capable at an honest price with a good trip. (1) IMTHEBLACKFLASH N drops a notch in class after finishing third as the favorite against better; Blackler trainee tries a new driver tonight with Gingras getting the call (Bartlett was listed as a new pilot but he isn't here) and he's got the rail. (4) COALFORD TROPHY GB has finished second in all three races after arriving from Canada to join the Engblom barn; Buter picks up the catch drive. Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) GDS THUNDER GB just missed last week in a good try when up in class and he's arguably in career form; figures to be leaving the gate again. (1) CURLY JAMES A has had nothing but good posts recently and he's inside again; major player. (2) BET ON BIG JOE never got involved in his first start for these connections after the recent $60K claim; major post relief tonight. Race 7: NW30451 in last 5 starts Pace (2) DIEGO N was off three weeks going into his last race and he left from the eight hole but broke. Gingras was a new driver last week and he's listed again as he looks to make amends. (1) VICIOUS was a winner by a scant nose after sitting the pocket in his first off the Adamczyk claim; clear chance to repeat from a similar spot. (4) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N charged home in both of his 2026 starts after taking off most of the winter. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: Invitational Pace (5) WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH was used hard to clear command and stubbornly gave way late in a super try in his return to the top level; Alexander trainee is just too sharp to ignore. (4) JUMPINGJACKMAC N finished fast in a solid effort off the bench and he can take another step forward second time out. From this spot he should be leaving the gate. (6) LOU HILL returns from three solid efforts at Pocono to begin his 5YO season and the Engblom trainee can smell the wire with his last four wins coming by a head and three necks. Drawing outside of his main competition may complicate things. Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) SIX DEGREES has finished in under 28 seconds in each of his last five races and the most he's been beaten is two lengths. Veteran hasn't been the most prolific winner over his career but he's more than capable with a good setup. (1) JUST ENUFF STUFF has been bouncing around to multiple barns recently and has performed well for all of them. He's now up in class off the Height reclaim and has finished second in his last four starts. (5) HEMSWORTH N finished with pace last start and has loads of back class.
