2026 MEET STATS: 45 - 138 / $234.21 (-$41.79) BEST BETS: 7 - 13 / $19.82 (-$6.18) BEST BET: AMERICAN DEALER N (6th) SPOT PLAY: SOHO DOW JONES A (5th) Race 1: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace (3) TOPVILLE SOMEBEACH dominated on the front end last week and has performed well for multiple barns; looking for the good times to continue in debut for the Dilloian, Jr. barn. (5) THE WICKED ONE was closer to the pace last start than the one prior and it resulted in a runner-up effort. He can be second best again here to the top one. (1) LINDY THE BRAVE raced evenly in his local return for a barn that has been doing well and always offers value. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $15,000 Claiming Pace Bartlett was listed on the half the field and he sticks with (7) OVER THE HORIZON who he was a winner with first time in the bike. Looks best in this formless field but may need to generate more early speed. (1) JACK'S LEGEND N has a ton of back class and his start last week wasn't awful. (4) J B GRAM was claimed by the Lance Hudson barn last out; something to consider. Race 3: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (5) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A folded on the front end last start at Pocono but he's back at the venue where he's been a winning machine in the past and only faces five other rivals here. (1) CURLY JAMES A steps up a level after winning last week as much the best. Sharp import had just missed in his prior two and should be very live from the inside. (6) CADILLAC BAYAMA didn't gain in that paceless race last out, draws worst but could pass a few. Race 4: Invitational Pace (1) LOU HILL had to be stretched to the make the front in last week's Invite and gave way late but tonight he gets Bartlett in the bike from a spot where he likely doesn't have to work as hard in the early stages. (3) CATALPA RESCUE A is back at Yonkers and was 5 for 10 here last year. (5) VERDUN is back in fighting form for Lachance and shouldn't have too far to come in this abbreviated field. Race 5: NW17077 in last 5 starts Pace (1) SOHO DOW JONES A takes a needed drop in class, draws the rail and picks up a new catch driver in Colin Kelly. Veteran import fits well with these and should be right there. (5) BOURBON COUNTY returns to Bartlett making the second start of his 4YO campaign and he very likely benefitted from that start at Pocono. (4) BOSTON BOUND faces better coming off of three consecutive tough beats. Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) AMERICAN DEALER N jogged as expected in his second start for the Burke barn and only has to step up to face slightly better; veteran wins again. (2) THE BIGBOSS A just missed two back from a similar spot at a big price. Kakaley drove that night and is back in the bike here. (5) COALFORD TOPGUY GB has been close in all recent for his top connections and he gets to drop a level in class but he draws outside his main competition and doesn't normally show a lot of early speed. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (8) HEMSWORTH N dropped and popped last out and the classy vet stays at the same level. I know it's a tall order from out in the eight hole but he can leave the gate and figures to be a solid price. (1) VEGAS STRIP N hasn't exactly lit the world on fire since arriving from Down-Under but he lands the rail and I think more importantly he gets Bartlett in the bike. (3) HEZA RISK TAKER A is one of a few imports on the card making their initial starts here and he won by daylight in that qualifier. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: $40,000 Claiming Pace (1) LUCAPELO A finds the rail for the Stratton barn in his local return and he seems overdue for his first win of the season. He's likely to work out a nice stalking trip, probably behind (6) LYONS BENJAMIN, who was nipped late in debut at this level and will be heading forward off the gate again. (4) JETT STAR N was a winner in debut for these connections and obviously deserves consideration as he stays at the same level. Race 9: NW8351 in last 5 starts Pace (4) BONNIPRINCLOUIS N was an easy winner in both his Yonkers and Engblom debut and I think it's automatic to come back with him despite facing tougher. (1) JAHAN HANOVER has woken up in his last two with the improved posts and he lands inside again. (7) PRINTVILLE has raced well in practically every start over the last few months but unfortunately he draws another poor post. He can pick up a piece at a price.
