2026 MEET STATS: 30 - 100 / $149.26 (-$50.74) BEST BETS: 6 - 10 / $17.42 (-$2.58) BEST BET: WALKINSHAW N (2nd) SPOT PLAY: VICIOUS (4th) Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace (6) WELL THAT'S MARKY is off three weeks but has dominated here at this level in his last three local races and will make it four if he makes the front without too much trouble. (5) BLOWIN SMOKE was outbattled at debut at this reduced level and now he changes barns to Cory Stratton; interesting. (1) I'M SOME GRADUATE gets another chance from an inside post and should be close throughout. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace (1) WALKINSHAW N is two starts into his 14YO season but still was reclaimed by familiar connections, who must think he's sound and prepared to more than earn his keep in his final year of racing. Rail draw, back to Bartlett, looks to control the action. (6) THEFLYINGROCK gave it a shot against $40's last week and raced well; former $15K claim drops back a notch and overall has been super for these connections. (5) ALTA CLASSIC A is a speedster also changing hands and will look to maintain his form for the Laterza barn. Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (4) TWIN B POWERBALL showed some renewed energy when dropped in class and the Lachance trainee gets to move down another notch here; last time at this level he was aggressively handled. (2) KWICK SAND A was a solid second in his local return. (6) OVERTHINKING was overtaken last week after rating the pace and now he gets a negative move out to the six hole. Race 4: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (5) VICIOUS makes his second start back off the layoff and he's more than proven himself in the past at this optional $75K claiming level; Bongiorno may have an opportunity to fire from the front from this spot. (1) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A is back locally after a tune-up at Pocono and should be a major player from the rail. (3) ALL CLASS also makes his second 2026 start with a notable switch to Bartlett. Race 5: $40,000 Claiming Pace (2) GDS THUNDER GB has done nothing wrong in two seasonal starts including last week's upset win. He stays at the same level looking to repeat. (1) ITALIAN LAD N also beat similar last out and is likely to be the controlling speed from the rail. (4) JUST ENUFF STUFF was claimed out of his last for $40K by Laterza, paying a premium considering his prior owners spent $30K. Gelding is a bonafide late threat. Race 6: NW10461 in last 5 starts Pace (2) COALFORD TROPHY GB was forced to miss last week's action with the Judges scratch but he's back in to go with an improved post. Canadian shipper burned money upon arrival but was a willing second. (1) AMERICAN DEALER N doesn't get the call from me tonight so he's probably a lock. Veteran has plenty going for him highlighted by the move all the way inside. (5) AMMO's price goes up tonight after failing at odds-on in his last two. Race 7: NW15251 in last 5 starts Pace (4) AARDIES FLASH N will be the hot favorite for top connections and looks best, but the same held true last week and he faltered at 2/5. One more chance. (3) SIX DEGREES has finished in :27 4/5 his last three starts, difference last week was the distance coming from the back. Post relief gets him more involved. Not sure what happened last start with (1) NIGHT HAWK but he came back and won his qualifier. Burke trainee is looking to get things turned around. Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) JOEMIKIYOURSOFINE is back down in class after his third-place effort in the age-restricted Open and he lands inside again. He's talented enough to take these wire to wire or strike from just off the pace. (4) TYPHOON BANNER N makes his second start back for Bongiorno and has the class to be dangerous. (3) BET ON BIG JOE missed a head from a similar spot two back. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace Competitive field here. (5) LYONS BENJAMIN has given it his all on the front end in his last four tries and has come up just shy. Maybe tonight he gets stuffed in behind #1 and can be the one to slip by late. (3) QUOTE ME NOT N transitioned nicely to this class last week and now moves in a couple of spots on the gate. (1) TOPVILLE SOMEBEACH has also been solid on the front in his last few; goes for new connections off the claim and they step him up a notch. Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) SINBAD N failed to get involved in his return to Yonkers but the Pete Tritton trainee is back on consecutive weeks and lands a much-improved post, one that gives driver Marohn options. (1) CHEVRON ART N has much to prove as he steps up in class again but the recent import may have the talent. Gingras gets the catch drive tonight. (3) WHATS STANLEY GOT A is back on the inside half of the gate and will be much closer to the action.
