Race 1: $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) TALK SHOW is quickly two-for-two to start out the new year and I think he's sharp enough to handle the bump in class to the $20K claiming level. (2) LUCIFERS LEGEND A ships from Ohio and joins the Alexander barn. Gelding took money in two recent starts in a claiming series at Miami Valley with mixed results, but he seems like he'll be a good fit here. (3) HEREHECOMESAROCKIN hung badly from the pocket in his last start and was claimed out of that race; early speed always gives this guy a shot.

Race 2: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) BLACK CHEVRON N held pretty decently last week after a two-move uncovered try and the Shane Tritton-trained veteran import should be tighter off that effort; down the road. (1) YACHT SEELSTER closed with strong late pace last out facing a notch better and now he moves all the way inside; player. (4) SILAS SEELSTER hasn't been at the top of his game recently but has still managed to be second best in his last two; price will be better tonight on this Devita trainee.

Race 3: $25,000/$30,000 Claiming Pace
(5) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN was interestingly claimed last week by Lance Hudson after a long run in the Peter Tritton barn; veteran stays at the same level looking to take two straight. (1) MISSISSIPPI RABBIT just failed on the front end last out and he draws best in this handicap race; pocket trip? (6) GIVENUPDREAMING does fit with this type but unfortunately he's drawn outside the main contenders again; he should be a decent price and with some luck he can sneak onto the ticket.
Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BETTORS FIRE N hasn't been awful in his last two starts and he's got loads of back class to call upon; with smooth sailing this 13-year-old is more than capable of getting the job done. (5) HEAVEN’S GAIT has powered away in his last two facing lesser and he's up in class looking for the hat trick. (3) OUR CORELLI N failed on the front end last week and now he bumps back up to the NW10000 level but it's hard to ever count out anything from the Shane Tritton barn, especially with Stratton driving.
Race 5: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) DON DOMINGO N was knocking on the door prior to last week's effort and he got it done at a nice price. Lance Hudson trainee is sharp again and can take another with some racing luck. (1) BENHOPE RULZ N has looked very good taking his last two local efforts; Cassar trainee is up in class again but does draw best. (8) KEYSTONE PHOENIX needs to fire from the gate and get a bit lucky to have any legitimate chance of winning this.
Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) MYKINDACHIP gets needed class and post relief tonight; 12-year-old is closing in on the $1 million earnings mark and he's still more than competitive with this upper-level conditioned pacers. 20/1 morning line sure is enticing in this wide-open event. (5) FLAMING FLUTTER N took all the money last week, was sent to the front and took care of business; Tritton trainee faces better here and will likely be off the pace tonight but with a smooth trip he can be right there. (1) SOHO LENNON A hardly broke a sweat disposing of lesser last week; he faces much better here and will have to work harder in order to repeat.
Race 7: Winners over $20,000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) SPEED MAN N raced erratically last out while parked the mile facing Open competition; in his prior effort he was flying at 99/1 chasing home Let It Ride N. Not sure what the strategy will be tonight but he's worth a look at what should be a good price in this competitive race. (2) SHNITZLETOSOMETHIN could not last the duration in his local return and was run over late by the sharp Carlisimo; Dylan Davis trainee gets Dunn in the bike again and will be a major player here. (1) I'M SOME GRADUATE was a solid winner at this level two back and picked up a small share from a no-chance spot last out in the Open; obvious player from the rail.

Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) YAYAS HOT SPOT N gets some needed class relief and he was a winner when last at this NW15000 level. (7) IDEAL JIMMY is stuck outside again but like the top choice he dips in class; I suspect Holland will be aggressive with this guy tonight. (1) BILL HALEY N likely needed last week's start, his first in over five months. He's back in on consecutive weeks and could be tighter.
Race 9: NW21500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) PAT STANLEY N steamrolled NW15000's in his last two and he appears sharp enough to take another facing a bit better competition; Tritton trainee may be a bit trip-dependent with some good ones inside of him. (1) TIN ROOF RAIDER A closed well last week to be second best at a big price and now he draws best; consider. (2) MAC’S JACKPOT has disappointed in his last two; not sure what to do with him now. I do know that his price should go way up tonight.
Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ROCK DIAMONDS N rallied well from off the pace to land a small share last week at over 99/1. This is another Cushing veteran on tonight's card with plenty of class seemingly in a live spot. (5) REDBANK BLAZE A had no chance last week and rallied well the start prior; he could be a threat here at a decent price. (2) SEMI TOUGH double-jumps for Burke off a game win. (3) LYONS KING hails from Shane Tritton; include.
