BEST BET: ITALIAN LAD N (9th)
SPOT PLAY: JUST ENUFF STUFF (5th)
Race 1: 3-5YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(1) J B GRAM takes a significant drop in class despite racing well at higher claiming levels and was a winner from similar spots in his last two when in for this tag. Faces decent rivals here but is the one to beat. (3) BAD BOY TOO also drops back to the $30K level despite three consecutive runner-up finishes versus better. Like the top choice he was a winner when last in this class. (2) FLIP MY CHIP has found his best stride for these connections and they leave him at the winning level going for four straight.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N scored from off the pace at a big price in his return to the DiDomenico barn and he was an easy winner for these connections back in October; this veteran figures to be offering a much better price than the logical (1) SADDLE UP and is worth using on top. The latter moves to the Devita barn off a sizzling 1:51 4/5 win and he goes for three straight overall. New connections leave him in for the same price. (4) KEYSTONE DASH is obviously going well now but faces tough ones inside of him; early speed is his main asset so if he can clear the front he could be trouble.

Race 3: NW10531 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) BUGABOO LOU's last three finishes look ugly (8th, 8th, 8th) but the last two were from tough posts and all have been against better. Back in September he beat this type rather comfortably. (4) CYRUS N also drops a bit and gets Bartlett back in the bike after finishing second last week with Lauren Tritton driving. (7) SPORTY M THREE had too much ground to cover last start and lands outside again; Burke trainee has the skills but may be best used underneath.
Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(7) BILL HALEY N has disappointed in many of his prior starts and he always takes money, in fact he's been favored in four of his last five. Tonight he'll be a price from the outside and can get all his backers even in one shot. Hoping Bartlett can move forward early. (2) LYRICAL GENIUS A was up in class last start and finished a respectable third; Stratton trainee drops back to the level of his win two back. (5) KARLOO BRADLEY N gets post and class relief as he drops to $40's; Gingras drives again and he's in with a legit chance.
Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) JUST ENUFF STUFF has had three seven holes in four starts since being claimed for $40K plus allowances for these connections and after finishing second when down in class last start the Stratton trainee now moves all the way to the rail. Let's see if he can improve on that 4 for 35 record this year (2) MY ULTIMATE BYRON A dropped and popped last week at odds-on; considering who he's been up against most of the season this bump in class shouldn't bother him. (4) SPLASH BROTHER has early speed and maybe Siegelman takes a shot off the gate at a big price.
Race 6: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) ORLANDO BLUE A grinded by for the win last out with Napilotano in the bike and the Erv Miller trainee overall has hit the board in five of six at this level. Good post gives him a legit chance to repeat. (6) SURFSIDE BEACH is a candidate to charge home if the pace scenario is right; just missed last week. (1) PEACE OUT POSSE moves from the middle of the pack to the rail looking to repeat; Kakaley is driving the Bongiorno trainee again.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(8) AARDIES FLASH N gets his biggest test in his brief U.S. career as he steps up to face better and is coming out of the eight hole. After cruising in his initial two starts we'll see how good he is tonight. (2) BACKSTREET SHADOW faltered in the late stages last week but he was off a bit of time and now the classmaster is back in on consecutive weeks. (5) LEONIDAS A has been close many times this year but is stuck on only two wins; millionaire can still compete with these.

Race 8: NW33863 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) CARABAO A was off time between starts with a sick and lame scratch but despite that he put in a solid effort to be second best last out; A Nap driving for Hudson has been a good combo this year and the gelding figures to be looking at a live trip. (6) BLUE LOU has the speed to be firing early and is a threat from top connections, but he's also off three weeks; we'll see if he's ready to give it 100%. (2) FINVERRA A was in too tough a spot last week but the recent import was right there in prior efforts at this level.
Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) ITALIAN LAD N closed well in his last two facing better but he can also leave the gate, as evidenced by his eight-hole try the last time he was at this level; veteran seems way overdue for a win. (3) JAHAN HANOVER has just been ehhhh in his last few but he's eligible to wake up with the drop in class. (1) EUPHORIA N also drops to a lower level and moves all the way back inside; Kakaley gets the drive on the Vallee trainee.
