Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(5) ELWELL has always been a quality pacer but he's now added early speed to his arsenal and despite getting nipped at the wire last week he deserves top call again. (3) HASH TAG SWAG was a winner second start off the Cory Stratton claim and brother Jordan sticks with him on the class hike. (2) LATE MAIL N has hit the board in his last four tries and from this inside post he figures to land a nice share again.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(3) BRAVO TEX N didn't really fire last week while facing better but he drops in class tonight and gets a barn change to Devita; improves? (1) FOX VALLEY INFERNO has been going well for multiple barns and there's no reason to think that trend won't continue. (2) KASEY JOHN A missed a nose last week and figures to be prominent again from this spot.
Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ALWAYS AND AGAIN takes a meaningful drop from the $75K claiming level, where he had been racing pretty well, to this NW10000 class, and he moves all the way inside. 4-year-old can trip out from this spot. (4) JESSE DUKE N found a soft spot last start and jogged on the front end; he's got a new trainer listed (as do all of these DiDomenico horses) but I don't expect that will slow him down. (3) CAN B PERFECT came up empty in his last two starts despite being favored in both and now he's missed a couple of weeks; use caution.

Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(4) BALLARAT BOOMERANG was a winner first start out off the Jenn Bongiorno claim but hit the skids in his last two from tough outside posts. He drops in price tonight looking to awaken. (1) WESTERN HILL debuts for Cory Stratton off the $30K claim and though he does bump up in class he does draw best, giving driver Jordan options. (7) ZIGGY SKY put in a big effort in defeat in his debut for Camilleri and the combo of trainer and driver Luke Hanners have done good things.
Race 5: $75,000 Claiming Pace
(5) ENVIRONS HANOVER has been a very sharp claim for the Renaud barn with three wins and a second through four starts and he may be good enough now to tackle better. (2) JOESSTAR OF MIA A faltered in the late stages last out and he may be tailing off after a big run; use caution as the potential favorite. (1) SWEET N FAST N stays at the $75K claiming level despite only being taken for $23K six starts back; move all the way inside obviously helps his cause.
Race 6: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) ROCKAPELO has frustrated me at times this season but an aggressive drive (especially in the early stages) can get it done. (2) MICKY GEE N keeps Stratton looking for two straight. If he's right the bump in class won't be a problem. (4) SPEED MAN N is also up in class but his tactical speed can help him work out a live trip.
Race 7: $100,000 Claiming Pace
(4) WHITECOOKIE showed what he's truly capable of last week with that powerful win; Burke trainee gets regular driver Brennan back in the bike and faces much of the same here. (1) SOHO LENNON A should enjoy life from the innermost post and he figures to be one of the main threats to the top one. (2) SILAS SEELSTER has been pacing evenly practically every week, generally racing as well as he draws, so the inside post should help his cause.
Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) FIZZING N gets an important driver upgrade from the trainer to Vallee, and he draws best in a field with some question marks. (7) OUR CORELLI N takes a meaningful drop from upper-level claimers and should be a big price if he can somehow get involved. (2) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR just missed last week against a notch lower; move inside makes him a player again.
Race 9: $75,000 Claiming Pace
(5) BIG SIR was hammered down to odds-on last week but never got close to the runaway winner; he's in a similar spot tonight but with that rival out in the seven hole maybe he can turn the tables. (7) FOREVER FAV has really responded to Gingras handling and he goes for three straight. (4) MR DS ROCK has been good for the Alexander barn after being claimed for just $20K; he rallied for third last week when bumped to this level.
Race 10: Open Handicap Pace
(6) BEE TWO BEE made a decent impression last week in his local return and the Burke-trained 4-year-old looks to have proven that he can go with these. (5) FUNATTHEBEACH N didn't fire his best last start, perhaps his first subpar effort for these connections. He's good enough to bounce back. (3) MOONSHINE KISSES can be an inside speed threat.
Race 11: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(1) KINNDER JACKSON just missed from a similar spot last week, which was his first for the Quevedo barn off the claim; Kakaley drives again and they could trip out in this competitive field. (2) UPTOWN FUNK has been an ATM machine this season for Nicole Dicostanzo, and he's coming off a solid try in defeat last out, but he's missed a bit of time and elects to drop in for a lower claiming tag tonight. (7) BELTANE A faces some adversity having to start from an outside post but his form is hard to fault.
Race 12: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N debuts for the Jenn Bongiorno barn off last week's $40K claim and while he appeared a bit overmatched in his last two this is a softer spot; not sure about that 15/1 on the morning line. (1) SKYWAY VICTOR exits the NW8 class, which is much tougher than it used to be, and he lands the pole. (4) TOM ME GUN N was a bit better last out, now drops another notch.
