MEET STATS: 393 - 1125 / $1,950.50 (-$299.50) BEST BETS: 62 - 107 / $230.20 (+$16.20) Best Bet: PRICELESS BEACH (4th) Spot Play: LYONS JOHNNYJNR (7th) Race 1: NW15951 in last 5 starts Pace (3) ESCAPETOTHEBEACH usually does his best work a level down from this but he lands in a good spot to utilize his controlling speed and can take this if he's not used too hard. (2) SAULSBROOK HERO is never that far back at the finish and note his last win came when he was at this NW15000 level. (5) VELOCITY KOMODO was also a winner when last in with this kind and he drops back to a softer spot. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $75,000 Claiming Pace (4) OZONE BLUE CHIP took these wire-to-wire last week after rating a kind pace. Gingras drives again and despite possibly having to work a bit harder tonight this classy veteran gets the call to repeat. (5) DON DOMINGO N goes back to the DiDomenico barn again and he's in the midst of an extended form spree; Brennan is back driving and they teamed up for a win last month. (2) B LIKE CRUISER hasn't won yet for these connections but he's finished second in three of his last four. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: $50,000 Claiming Pace (5) WICHITA LINEMAN has gotten progressively better in his four starts since the Alexander claim and he was a game winner last out from a similar spot. (4) BARBADOS has disappointed in his two starts since returning from time off but he takes an important drop in class from the $75K claimers to the $50's and he picks up Gingras; improves? (7) SHERIFF N got claimed for the fourth consecutive start last week and goes back to familiar connections. He's razor sharp but faces an uphill climb from the outside post. Race 4: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (2) PRICELESS BEACH was uninvolved most of the way in his first start in a couple of months but he finished with plenty of pace, home in :27 flat. Bako trainee moves inside and is clearly the one to beat. (1) BRAEVIEW BONDI A moves from claimers into this conditioned event and he gets significant post relief. (7) BLANK STARE charged home in his last two; he steps up a notch and is outside but Bartlett drives again for Cullipher and he could be a late threat. Race 5: NW15951 in last 5 starts Pace (5) SOHO LENNON A had no chance last week but finished with alert pace for a small share; he's in a spot here where Kakaley may be able to leave and good things can happen at a square price. (4) THE REAL ONE awakened when dropped in class and he goes a notch lower tonight; Lachance trainee still has what it takes to get it done. (1) PACE N PRIDE N also drops and figures to be close up throughout. Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) STOP STARING just missed in his debut for the Alexander barn and the recent arrival from Saratoga could be even better tonight. (1) THE REGULATOR returns locally at a much-reduced level than he was accustomed to seeing, plus he goes second-time Lasix and draws the rail. (2) PATRIOT NATION also gets some class relief and returns to Bartlett. Race 7: $30,000 Claiming Pace (5) LYONS JOHNNYJNR finished well for a share when dropped to this level last out and the versatile gelding can go on or off the pace from this spot. (1) PLAY THE FIELD arrives from Pocono and has plenty of speed and an inside draw. He was a winner the last time he was in this barn. (7) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN drops from 40's to 30's, has Bartlett driving again and could land a share at a price with some racing luck. Race 8: Open Handicap Pace (7) LEONIDAS A returns from Rosecroft where he managed to make some money in the Potomac Pace and he has won three of his last four overnight 'Open' events. I'm hoping he's fully cranked to deal with the outside post assignment. (4) COVERED BRIDGE gets a bit of a post reprieve and he was sent to the lead two back from a similar post. (1) SEMI TOUGH is assigned the rail and should be stalking from close to the front. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: $30,000 Claiming Pace (4) URBAN RENEWAL didn't do much in his last two but he was an upset winner the start prior and tonight he gets a driver change to Kakaley; maybe worth a look. (1) DEETZY won last week and looks like the controlling speed from the rail. (3) SULLIVAN gets some post improvement. Race 10: $40,000 Claiming Pace (1) GOTHIC ROCK has been good in all recent local starts for the Bucci barn and he should be looking at a live trip from this cozy inside spot. (7) MACH DORO A has awakened since dropping to this $40K level and he has shown early speed in the past looking to overcome outside draws; price should be healthy as well. (3) DARK ENERGY N grinded his way to victory from a similar spot last week for the team of Cory and Jordan Stratton.
