Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) JUDDY DOUGLAS A raced pretty well last week for a board spot and now he gets to drop back to a lower conditioned level; Kakaley is back driving and he should be heading out to the front. (1) MOONLITE DRIVE N was stuck outside in his U.S debut and lagged in a 1:52 4/5 mile. Now with the move all the way to the rail we'll get to see what this import brings to the table; expect plenty of tote action. (5) RJ SPORTS IMAGE plunges in class but he hasn't been finishing his miles and I think he's vulnerable.

Race 2: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) FORTIFY steps up a notch to face some tough competition but he's been racing gamely of late showing good staying power late and the Burke trainee will offer a price. (1) ROCKIN JUKEBOX stepped up to this class last start and put in yet another solid effort; gelding is back inside and a pace threat. (6) AMERICAN DEALER N takes a needed drop from the Open level but faces an uncertain trip from this spot.

Race 3: 3-5YO $50,000 Claiming Pace

(2) MY MIKI BEACH gave way under hard pressure last start but I think with all of his recent efforts he's proven that he belongs with these. Gingras gets the drive and figures to be forwardly placed again. (1) TUGGIN ON MY HEART didn't get involved last week from the tough post but he moves all the way inside and Joe B is back driving; he'll be on the lead or just off the pace. (3) SLING SHOCK hasn't put in a bad effort in ages though only has one win to show for it; 4YO is in for tag tonight.

Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(1) ALOTBETTOR N shows up every week with either a speed effort or an off-the-pace rally. Tonight with the move back inside the veteran is likely looking at a pocket ride and if clear late he can motor by (3) NOME HANOVER has been super for multiple barns and now new owners look to get in on the action. Gelding stays at the winning level. (4) ARRHYTHMIC SURGE needs some action up front to show his best; grinding type should land a share.

Race 5: Open Handicap 1-3,4-8 drawn Pace

(4) HELLABALOU jogged in his local return and manages to land the best post here in the 4-8 draw; Burke trainee is no cinch but should win again. (7) SIMON SAYS HANOVER is in career form, and this is after missing over a year of action before returning back in February. There's not a ton of speed inside of him and perhaps Dube thinks the same thing. (2) AMERICAN MERCURY has been very consistent for the Bongiorno barn and he generously got to draw inside; strong candidate to hit the ticket again.

Race 6: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

Hard to believe that (8) THIS IS THE PLAN is not an automatic at the NW20000 level but that's the case out of the eight hole. I'll assume Yannick doesn't want to be sitting last again this week. (2) CHANTEE has quietly had a solid season for Lachance and he can charge home with a clean trip. (1) FREQUENT IMAGE is speed from the rail but needs to show more late.

Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) ROCK DIAMONDS N hasn't won in a couple of months but also hasn't been on the front end in a while either. This looks like a spot where Joe B can make the front. (1) LAYTON HANOVER steps back up a notch off a nice win and looms large again from the rail. (2) BLUE LOU is an invading 3YO going third start in the Engblom barn and he was a 1:50 1/5 winner last out at Philly. Gingras picks up the drive.

Race 8: 3-5YO $50,000 Claiming Pace

(1) SHAKESPEARE goes for four straight tonight and arguably meets a softer field than he's been beating. He's back in the Daguet barn off the reclaim and is rock-solid for this outfit. (4) TOPVILLE SOMROCKET woke up last week with a much better effort where he was nipped by a nose; player. (7) TWO FACED finished third in his last couple, albeit from inside posts. He'll be a big price tonight and maybe Kakaley can sneak him in there.

Race 9: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(3) PINEBUSH LIFESAVER is back in claimers and meets a very soft field of 40's. He lands an improved post and I can see a much better effort coming tonight. (4) GOTHIC ROCK gets out of the eight hole and will be more involved here. (5) SETH HANOVER drops in class and is clearly capable of showing more.

Race 10: 3YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(3) FUGLEMAN failed to threaten in his last two but he faces somewhat softer and gets some post improvement; worth a look in this tough-to-figure event. (4) LOUIE HANOVER also finds a better spot for good connections. (1) CROSS CREEK draws the rail again and figures to be looking at a live trip.
