Yonkers: Analysis for Monday 11/1

MEET STATS: 364 - 1089 / $1,942.20 (-$235.80)
BEST BETS: 50 - 102 / $155.60 (-$48.40)
Best Bet: TOLLY HO (1st)
Spot Play: WESTERN FAME (10th)
Race 1: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) TOLLY HO went a good effort in defeat last week and that's now three sharp tries in a row for the DiDomenico-trained veteran. Brennan's back driving and from this post he's clearly the one to beat. (4) MARINER SEELSTER never got involved in his first start off the Alexander claim but he moves in a couple of slots and figures to make some noise. (3) BAMSKI is back in after an injured scratch and he did beat $25K claimers in his first out for Tahnee Camilleri; consider for a share.

Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(1) REAL LUCKY N has paid his way recently without doing anything particularly exciting; Gillis-trained veteran should be looking at a live trip in this competitive field. (2) EDDARD HANOVER ships in for Burke, who puts a $40K price tag on his head; he's certainly well spotted here. (5) SWEET N FAST jogged at Pocono off the Bako claim and now he gets tested for class tonight.

Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) OUR MAX PHACTOR N drops in class and finally lands a reasonable post; perhaps we see Zeron point him to the front. (4) MINNIE VINNIE was a winner upon arrival then got hung to dry; Iowa shipper might have more to offer. (2) NVESTMENT BLUECHIP is kind of in the same boat as the top one, with little form but finding a much better spot.
Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(1) BLUEBIRD RECON steps up in class off the Bako claim but he draws best and doesn't meet that strong of a field; top billing. (4) BRACKLEY BEACH debuts for Jenn Bongiorno and would surprise no one if he stepped up his game. (2) BETTOR NOTBITTER A finally moves inside after having two eight holes and a seven hole in his last three.
Race 5: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(3) SOHO LEVIATHAN A is just shy of $100K banked this season and he brings a good effort to the table practically every start; he's back in a spot where he can show some speed. (5) VELOCITY KOMODO swept the field at 57/1 last out, and also was reclaimed by DiDomenico, who steps him up in solid form. (1) ELWELL cut the pace and tired off the Dowse claim; he's usually better suited stalking.
Race 6: $75,000 Claiming Pace
Very competitive race here. (3) FOREVER FAV finally showed some serious life last week, missing a neck to the eventual winner. Gelding has some versatility and a good starting spot. (5) MARK WITHA K could have been yours for $12,500 at the end of last season and now he's winning in $75’s…crazy, huh? Dunn picks up the drive and he could be a late threat. (4) BUY IN is back down a bit in class making his second start for Burke; prior efforts at this level were solid.
Race 7: WO30000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) NANDOLO N drops from the Open level, where he was uninvolved in his last two versus the likes of Tattoo Artist; expect a more aggressive attempt tonight. (5) SPLASH BROTHER has been printing money for his connections since returning here; main threat. (3) ROCK THE DEVIL faces some tough ones in here but has looked really sharp in his last three races.
Race 8: $75,000 Claiming Pace
(2) SUGARTOWN bounced back with a better effort last week, where he paced home well from the back of the pack. Gelding should be on or near the lead tonight. (1) THE WILD CARD moves into claimers, draws inside and has been going well recently. (3) PRO BEACH was too far back in his debut for these connections but he finished willingly; he moves inside and should be close to the action throughout. Gingras is listed to drive a couple tonight, this being one of them.
Race 9: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER got hung to dry and tired badly in his first start for the Alagna barn but he's back in the box on what would be considered a normal schedule so that's a good sign; speedy veteran drops, draws best. (6) ALL HANDS ON DECK hit a big bump in the road but qualified back fine; Team Bongiorno 4-year-old can be a player. (2) HERRICKROOSEVELT N returns off a three-month hiatus and Stratton's sticking with him.

Race 10: $100,000 Claiming Pace
(4) WESTERN FAME has not been anywhere close to his best recently but that didn't stop DiDomenico & Co. from dipping in for $100K to claim this classy veteran; Dube stays on to drive. (1) LYONS KING moves all the way inside making him a serious player (and possible favorite). (3) FRANCO TOTEM N has been solid in his last three yet still may offer some good value.
Race 11: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace
I'm looking for Brennan to get aggressive with (4) ROCKAPELO and that can give a tactical edge on main threat (3) MICKY GEE N, who takes a needed drop from Open company and picks up Stratton. (1) FUNKNWAFFLES has been racing with more consistency lately as he’s settled in to this class level.
Race 12: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SUMTHINBOUTIM bumps up for the third consecutive start looking for the hat trick; Yannick's listed to drive with Brennan on the Burke trainee. (4) OAKWOODNITTOWNIT IR has been underachieving a bit recently but does get a bit of class relief and should go well with these. (7) IMAGINARY LINE and (6) LEVINE can both be speed threats to get good position and neither would be a surprise.
