Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(3) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER wired the field from a similar spot two back prior to moving up in class and getting the eight hole. Stratton trainee has won his last four starts when tagged for $15K. (5) WELL THAT'S MARKY debuts for the Dilloian Jr. barn and goes right back into the same class. He's performed well for multiple outfits and with Bartlett picking up the drive he's the one to fear. (4) BLOCKBUSTER TRADE won from this post, this class two back, then was nowhere from the eight hole last start. He can be rallying late for a piece.

Race 2: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(5) TYPHOON BANNER N was on a big form spree earlier this year prior to the sick scratch and long layoff. He returns for the Bongiorno barn off a winning qualifier and I'm betting he's ready to go. (2) MUSIC HALL moves to a new barn off the claim, stays at a competitive level and gets Bartlett. (4) LYRICAL GENIUS A hasn't won in this class in a while but is usually in the hunt.

Race 3: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace

(2) ZEBS KRAFTY finished close from a similar post two back and also four starts back; Bako trainee can work out a smooth stalking trip and may get the best of this shaky field. (3) PAXAMILLION stopped badly last out when Lasix was added but all prior starts were good and the Bongiorno trainee drops to a softer level. (5) SHIPMASTER also drops after being in too tough facing straight $40K claimers.

Race 4: NW10001 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) THENU CAME ALONG A is only 1 for 22 on the season but that one win came with Bartlett in the bike and he's now reunited with the Blackler trainee. (2) THONG CONTROL always finishes close when drawn well and he figures to be saving ground near the frontrunners. (5) THE MIKI TAKER A is somehow 0 for 41 over the last two years but he's finished third a bunch of times recently.

Race 5: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) ODDS ON NO LIMIT was unable to get involved in his last two from poor posts but he draws better here and tries a new driver with Braxten Boyd getting the call. Three back from a similar spot he just missed. (2) DELE ROW A steps up sharp looking to repeat. (4) PRAIRIE ROCKNROLL gives Yonkers a try off a blowout score up at Saratoga and he seems to fit class-wise.

Race 6: NW32091 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) MOSSDALE BEN N took advantage of last week's drop in class to win comfortably as the odds-on favorite and now he's written in to this similar class tonight. He's no lock here but certainly deserves top billing. (1) STERLING CHOICE drops from the top levels and is clearly the main threat. (2) MAC'S DELIGHT also drops and he races well from inside posts; Engblom trainee has an outside chance at the top spot.

Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SON OF THE SHARK A has turned things around for the most part when moved to the Engblom outfit; drawing the rail and keeping Bartlett makes him tough. (2) AMERICAN DEALER N steps up a level after picking up a long-awaited victory; Classy vet went over a million in career earnings earlier this year and is still competitive at these upper levels. (4) SOUTHWIND CELCIUS has been razor sharp beating softer in his last two but that was with Bartlett who stays with #1 so he picks up the capable Holland and that does help the price.

Race 8: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) BOURBON COUNTY has been competitive at the top levels but his last two wins have come when able to drop into easier spots such as tonight. 4YO can make front from this post. (1) RESILIENT N is another Bongiorno trainee who has been sharp. (5) VERDUN always deserves consideration even at the Invite level. Lachance trainee beat this class two back.

Race 9: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(8) ALWAYS B ELITE N has been lightly raced over the last couple of seasons but he's on a solid roll now including winning at a similar level last out as the heavy favorite. This Bongiorno trainee gets Siegelman to catch drive and he has left the gate in most races so I'm hopeful he can get away quick tonight. (1) MISSED THE TRUTH A stays at a winning level off the Laterza claim. (2) MANSOME ships in from New England with an interesting driver change to Bartlett.

Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) POP IT has been off a few weeks but resurfaces in the Joe Bongiorno barn after a career with Ray Schnittker. He did win his last race against softer and probably has more in the tank to tap into. (7) AMERITRIC plunges in class from $40K claimers for the DiDomenico barn; he's a perfect fit here but needs to overcome the poor post. (1) COLLECTIVE WORKS A rarely wins but can hang around for a piece.

Race 11: $15,000 Claiming Pace

(2) CYRUS N had the eight hole last start and did manage to pick up a check but now the Pete Tritton trainee moves all the way back inside where's he always a major player. (4) IM A POWERPLAY A moves to his fourth barn in as many starts and stays at a winning level. (6) KARLOO BRADLEY N was reclaimed by Laterza two back and went a huge trip to score last week; 10YO vet is a player again.
