Race 1: NW7500 in last 5 Pace

(1) MONEYMAN HILL pretty much went through the motions in his first two starts after joining the Devita barn from Canada, as he had outside posts facing better; Tonight, we get to see what he brings to the table, albeit at a short price. (3) ORILLIA JOE still has good early speed and that will get this veteran in play. (5) DECISION DAY also takes a needed drop in class and is a clear contender here.

Race 2: $100,000 Claiming Pace

Seems strange to say but it seems like (1) TALBOTCREEKWHISKEY has found a home at this $100K claiming level. He was able to rate a comfortable pace last week in a winning effort and now he draws the rail looking to repeat. (2) WEONA SIZZLER A was held at bay by the top one last start and he'll likely be in a similar stalking spot tonight. (6) JOESSTAR OF MIA A enters the Dowse barn when claimed for $75K in a winning effort; he can make things interesting early if he fires from the gate.

Race 3: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(5) CAVIART STETSON was a strong winner last start at 45/1; we won't see that price tonight as he faces a bit better, but nothing he can't seemingly handle with a repeat effort. (6) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN drops from 40's to 30's, maybe we see speed tonight. (4) THISJETSABOOKIN gets some post relief and figures to be more involved.

Race 4: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(1) LATE MAIL N goes back to the Gillis barn via claim, stays at the same level, gets Stratton, draws inside. He may be the one to catch. (5) GHOST DANCE has been very good lately, but not good enough to be listed at 8/5 on the computerized ML. (2) ROCK THE NITE has shown solid speed of late so we know he’ll be right around the front, but will #1 yield and allow him to cut the mile? We'll see.

Race 5: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(4) REAL LUCKY N was unable to get involved last start but he flew home to just miss last time Stratton drove this gelding; he's versatile and capable with a good trip. (5) CLASSIC PRO is up in class off the Jenn Bongiorno claim; Kakaley picks up the catch drive on this freelegged pacer, who was super in his last two. (8) TONY TOO TALL was just shy in his debut for the Shane Tritton barn; he'll be a price if Bartlett can overcome the eight hole. Worth noting that about a year ago this guy was in for a $7K tag at Northfield!

Race 6: $50,000 Claiming Pace

(2) AMERICAN BOY N blew away $40's two back then was stuck in the eight hole last week; move inside facing a field with question marks makes this classy veteran the one to beat. (6) KEYSTONE PHOENIX has done nothing since the claim four back but he gets a barn change tonight and perhaps that can help him out (at a price). (3) DREAMFAIR CHARRO was decent last week for a board spot.

Race 7: Open Handicap Pace

(5) NANDOLO N was one of a host of leavers last week and he got hung wide into the turn before breaking; he deserves another chance. (4) LEONIDAS A works his way back to the top level and he gets assigned a decent post. (1) STARS ALIGN A is back locally coming off two sub-1:50 wins in Pennsylvania and we're sure to see big early speed to protect position.

Race 8: $75,000 Claiming Pace

(4) TELLITSABB was in NW5000 not too long ago but he's clearly feeling good now and he would be no surprise here vs. this evenly-matched group. (3) BEACH BOOGIE was a winner two back at this level, and that was from the seven hole; logical. (1) SUGARTOWN gets major post relief, and he did leave the gate well last week before being snatched up and dragged to the back.

Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 Pace

(1) SPRINGSTEEN has pretty much looked fine and has done well since moving to the Jenn Bongiorno barn; if the catch-driving Bartlett can handle this erratic 6-year-old as well as Joe B has, he'll have a big shot here. (2) ARTIE'S IDEAL went on the bench for a few months through the summer but has come back strong for Erv Miller. (8) TWIN B TUFFENUFF returns from a good run out of town at The Big M and in Pennsylvania; he needs to leave the gate hard to have any realistic chance of winning, and lately trying to predict the gate speed at Yonkers is becoming increasingly frustrating.

Race 10: Preferred Handicap Pace

(6) SPLASH BROTHER showed a nice new dimension to his game last week by rallying from well off the pace and he almost got there, however the end result was another narrow loss. Clearly the 4-year-old gelding is talented enough to fit in at the upper class levels and he could be around locally for years to come. (3) PEACE OUT POSSE gets Bartlett catch driving for Bongiorno and he lands inside most of his main competition. (8) SOUTHWIND OZZI is now 5 years old and is in the midst of a solid campaign; he can go with these but the eight hole is tough.

Race 11: NW20000 in last 5 Pace

(5) PATRIKTHEPIRANHA A was a winner in his U.S. debut in a sparkling 1:48 4/5 at The Meadowlands and he deserves to be followed shipping in to Yonkers, but he won't offer much value. (1) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK gets major post relief and will be more involved. (7) OSTRO HANOVER is too good to be stuck on only one win on the season; not sure he can win from this spot tonight but he can sneak onto the ticket at a price.
