(1) OVERTHINKING returns at a reduced level and goes second-time Lasix. (3) I’M TALKIN HUNGRY has been second in his last three tries and always offers a price.

Race 2: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) POP IT is quickly two-for-two since moving to the Bongiorno barn and now finds himself in a lateral class as last time as he’s now tagged. (1) STELLAR YANKEE has tailed off somewhat recently so the connections drop him back into $30’s and he’s imposing from the rail. (7) THEFLYINGROCK has been razor sharp but is at a major tactical disadvantage on his return to the Laterza barn.
Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MUSIC HALL stays at a winning level off the reclaim by the Daguet barn and he returns to Bartlett. (1) MISSED THE TRUTH A has been killing it in $30’s, now steps up to $40’s off the Stratton claim. (4) HAMMERING HANK didn’t fire last week in his return to claimers; Holland back driving tonight.
Race 4: NW31961 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SOHO FIRESTONE A takes a needed drop out of the Invite ranks and moves all the way in to the rail. The last time he was at this level he was a solid second to Sweet Beach Life, who had won about 100 in a row. (4) RAILROAD STATION just missed in his last two and is the main threat. (5) WHATS STANLEY GOT A steps up again, gets a new driver, will be a big price, maybe closes late for a piece.
Race 5: $15,000 Claiming Pace
(3) SHINE A LIGHT is an insane 18 for 30 this year and is a killer at this $15K claiming level; goes for new barn but he’s won for multiple outfits. (4) TRICKY CAPTAIN N goes for four straight at the $15K tag and figures to be a major player again. (5) GOTHIC ROCK was a close second the last time that Bartlett drove.
Race 6: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) UDDERLY SWEET A dropped and popped in a sizzling 1:51 3/5 life mark last out for Bongiorno and lands the rail tonight looking to repeat. (4) VICIOUS took a few weeks off then was going nowhere last week from the eight hole; with the post relief he can be driven with more purpose. (2) LILLBLISS also gets post relief after trailing from the worst draw.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) LOU’S ALBANO gets post and class relief in his second try after arrival from The Meadows and he’s one of many in here with a legit chance; will come down to trip. (2) BALLROOM AFFAIR figures to be the frontrunner with Joe B. (3) FORCE FULL A is making his way back up the class ladder after finding his form vs. lesser.

Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) MENEMSHA A faces a salty field in his North American debut but the Dilloian Jr. trainee looks ready for action coming off that lone qualifier. (1) PINNY TIGER A has done nothing wrong through the last two months except getting nipped two back; Bako veteran is the one to beat. (4) CAPT KARMA is another in a long line of sharp Bongiorno trainees. He’s in for a tag so he can race at the same level.
Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) TEXAS HOLDEM made his first start for Burke after being in the Schnittker barn since day one and he was nailed at the wire after a good try. Faces tougher but is worth following up. (3) KOPI LUWAK picked up a long-awaited win last out and has the class to build off that effort. (1) OURMATEMENKO N has been disappointing considering he was a $40K claim back in August.
