Race 1: $30,000 Claiming Pace

(4) ROCK N TONY draws the first realistic post since this barn claimed the gelding and Zeron should have him within striking distance. (1) KEYSTONE STEAM missed a nose last week facing similar; Garcia-Herrera trainee certainly is logical from this spot. (5) CLASSIC PRO never got involved in his first start off the Jenn Bongiorno claim but he's back down in class and Joe B is driving.

Race 2: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) OSTRO HANOVER is just 1 for 23 on the season and is really running out of excuses; with that said he remains a major player here on paper. (1) QUAGMIRE BLUECHIP has blossomed into a really nice horse for Chuck Connor, Jr. and he returns locally landing the rail; with Brett Beckwith listed to drive he'll probably offer some value. (3) BLOOD BROTHER has had his moments here in the past and the veteran did recently win two races facing lesser at Freehold.

Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(4) MARTY MONKHOUSER A just keeps rolling along at 12 years old and he looks for back-to-back wins tonight facing similar. The fact that he's earned almost $50K in his last 5 starts just by doing what he does is amazing and ridiculous at the same time. (1) ENVIRONS HANOVER rallied for a small share in a start here last month then went to Philly for class relief and picked up a win and a second; he should be in line for a nice trip here. (6) AMERICAN BOY N picked up a win in $50K claimers and now drops in for a lesser price; outside draw could be a hindrance.

Race 4: $40,000 Claiming Pace

(4) MAJOR CROCKER A has been beyond sharp recently ($61K in last 5 starts) and he now enters an equally good barn via claim. (3) TREASURE MACH has faltered a bit on the front end in his two starts off the Bongiorno claim but he may be better from off the pace. (7) VELOCITY KOMODO looks as good as anyone else in here and he'll be a big price due to the poor post.

Race 5: $50,000 Claiming Pace

(5) SOHO LEVIATHAN A gets the class relief he needs as he drops back to the $50K level and that can get him over the top. (3) BARBADOS was a solid second last week and figures just as highly tonight. (2) ELWELL debuts for a new barn tonight off the claim after a long run in the Laterza barn; he's always been better when drawn inside.

Race 6: $75,000 Claiming Pace

(6) ROBBIE BURNS N had good pace at both ends last start and there doesn't seem to be a ton of early speed inside of him. (1) AINTNOBETTOR A should benefit greatly from the move back inside. (3) TELLITSABB hasn't been great since arriving at Yonkers but he's certainly been serviceable; he can be right there with a smooth trip.

Race 7: Open Handicap Pace

(8) TATTOO ARTIST ships in to make his Yonkers debut and the 4-year-old has been knocking heads with some of the best recently; Dexter Dunn is here to pick up the drive and I hope to be seeing some flight off the gate. (5) LEONIDAS A went a wicked trip in defeat in his last local try and he lands a good enough midpack post. (3) DRAGON SAID hasn't been as sharp as he was previously but he's in a good spot here to do some damage.

Race 8: $100,000 Claiming Pace

(5) TALBOTCREEKWHISKEY took last week off after faltering on the lead while facing harsh pressure. Perhaps he can bounce back here at a decent price. (2) WESTERN FAME figures to be live here but doesn't seem worth a short mutuel. (3) FRANCO TOTEM N was second best last week after sitting a cozy pocket trip; from another decent post he's certainly a contender.

Race 9: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) SUGARTOWN recently wired a field of $75K claimers and looked pretty good doing so; he should be on or just off the lead again from this spot and can repeat. (4) PEACE OUT POSSE should appreciate the class relief dropping from the Preferred ranks; he was a winner at this level a couple of months back. (5) RAUKAPUKA RULER N hasn't been at his sharpest recently but he still has to be considered a threat.

Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) AIR FORCE HANOVER has really found his stride since moving to the Daguet barn and he's up in class again looking for three straight. (4) BLANK STARE also steps up a notch off a good effort in his local return. (1) ALWAYS AND AGAIN was third best in his last Yonkers try and followed that up with a solid display at Philly; he'll be a live player from the rail.

Race 11: WO30000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) BEE TWO BEE has been rock-solid since the move to the Burke barn and while he does step into a tougher class after beating age-conditioned foes a repeat of that effort could get it done, at a halfway decent price as well. (8) SHOOBIE DOO A is stuck outside again but I can envision Bartlett taking a serious swing off the gate. (1) FUNKNWAFFLES has picked up money in all recent starts, including a good finish last week to hit the ticket.

Race 12: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) MINNIE VINNIE is another in a pretty long list of Iowa fair horses who have shipped east and done good things; he looks to take his second straight and Buter drives again. (5) BETTOR AT HIGHTIDE has done little recently in high-priced claimers but that allows to plunge in class here; does he awaken? (1) AVATAR J regressed in his second return start; at least he draws best here.
